Inuyasha: OK, since the stupid writer isn't here, I'm gonna do the stupid disclaimer.

The Start of The Search

 

“Who are you?” Inuyasha was just about to gasp when, he felt a thug on his ear. “Oh it's you Inuyasha!” He grinned. “Kagome are you ok?” She gave him a puzzled look. “Who's Kagome?” she asked. His grin disappeared. He was just about to say something before, “Inuyasha! Kagome! Where are you?!” Miroku's voice echoed off the walls. “Oy Miroku! I'm over here!” Inuyasha hollered back. Miroku and Sango ran over. “Lady Kagome, are you alright?” Miroku asked. “Who's Lady Kagome, Inuyasha, who are these people?” Kagome said. “What happened to her?” Sango questioned Inuyasha. “I'll tell you outside! Come on lets go!” Inuyasha replied as he lifted Kagome on to his back and leapt away.

 

“Ah! I see! So that's what happened to Kagome!” Miroku exclaimed after Inuyasha told him the story. Inuyasha looked forlornly at the sleeping Kagome. He turned back to Miroku. Miroku had a big smile on. Inuyasha gave him a glare and said, “What the hell are you smiling at?!” Miroku placed a hand on Inuyasha's shoulder. “It's nice to see you care for someone in your life.” He said. Inuyasha stared at Miroku's hand and whacked it off his shoulder. “I don't like to be touched by perverted monks, Miroku.” He said flatly at him. Sango laughed her head off at Miroku's attempt at a puppy dog face. “Anyway, as I was saying, it seems that Kagome's memories were contained in `shards'. When these shards were unearthed, it seems that it's like the Shikon no Tama. You must find the shards!” Miroku declared. “Just one thing, why does Kagome remember me, and nobody else?” Inuyasha asked. “It may seem like there is a picture in her mind. Only you are visible and everyone else is not. She was thinking about you when she lost her memory. She was holding the shard containing all memories of you tight.”

He fingered the rosary at his neck. `You fool, why did you do that? I didn't need your help…' For the first time in his life after he met Kagome, he felt alone.

 

“Are you certain Inuyasha?” Miroku asked him. “Keh! Of course I'm certain. I am going to collect Kagome's memory by myself! Kagome doesn't remember you guys anymore and she may get scared…” Inuyasha stated. “Alright, but Miroku and I will be in this village and wait for your return.” Sango said. “Good bye, Miroku the Molester and Sango!” Kagome cried cheerfully as she had just learned their names. Inuyasha and Kagome soon disappeared. “Miroku the Molester?!” Miroku repeated after they left. Realization hit him. “SANGO!!!”

 

`I can't get Miroku and Sango involved in this! After she remembers them, we'll go back.' Inuyasha thought as he went with Kagome. `Hold on! What about her parents?!'
