Shared life chappie numbah 4!

"Sorry about that."Ayumi was poking at her ears when she woke up "Are you really Kagome?" Ayumi was shocked by her silver eyes.

Kagome was wondering how much she really did change but answered anyway."Of course I'm Kagome, why would you think otherwise? Have I really changed that much? What do I look like Inuyasha?" Inuyasha came out of the stupor her eyes put him in and spoke."Umm can you go see for yourself? It's hard to say, really."

"Okay, who wants to come with me? No one? Fine, Inuyasha come on then, I wanna see myself." Kagome jumped up, grabbed Inuyashas wrist, and hauled him to the body size mirror in the bathroom. As soon as they reached the bottem step, Ayumi and Yuka went after them. As soon as everyone was in the bathroom, Kagome closed the door to look in the mirror that was on the doors back.

Kagome was shocked.She opened her mouth and saw a few fangs. She poked at her ears and checked to see the length of her hair. Her claws were the same length as Inuyasha And finally she noticed her eyes. She was suprised that they weren't gold like Inuyahsas were. She was captivated be her own eyes. She blinked to make sure they were really her own, they were indeed hers. Then a thought came to Kagome. She turned towards Inuyasha and spoke.

"Well now that I know what I look like, but what can I do?" Inuyasha was utterly confused. "What do you mean?"

"I want to know how fast I can run, Inuyasha, how do my ears and nose work, how hard I can actually hit someone, If I can still see the shards. Inuyasha, you will hlep me figure this out right." Kagome was about to burst with excitement. She was going to be able to help more now.

Inuyasha couldn't resist her eyes. They were full of happiness and sparkling beautifully. "Feh. Fine but don't cry to me if you get hurt." Inuyasha was shocked by her reaction. She practically flew to Inuyasha and wrapped her arms around him. He shyly hugged her back and then let go reluctantly. "Lets go downstairs now and talk with the others. Okay?" Kagome let go of Inuyasha when he spoke and agreed. They all went to the kitchen yo see the others.

Kagome stepped into the kitchen last, and as she did , Sota, Eri and her mom surrounded her. Seconds before they hugged her to death, Kagome jumped over them and landed on the table. Only when she landed did she notice who they were.

"Oh my I'm sorry you guys. You just suprised me and I smell something funny in here." To emphasize her point she sniffed the air. She caught onto the scent and started to follow it. Inuyasha noticed where she was heading and right before she figured out who the smell was coming from, Inuyasha spoke.

"Hey Kagome, you me and Eri need to talk alone. Come on." Before kagome could protest, Inuyasha grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the living room. Eri just followed them, staring at their ears. She just loved those ears.

When they were all seated , except Inuyasha, Kagome sniffed again. "Eri. The smell is from you." Kagome blurted. "Why?"

Eri just turned away as Inuyasha spoke. "Kagome, Eri is 1/4 neko demon. Here's lesson one in how to use your nose. What you smell is her demon scent mixed with with her human one. It's similar to mine right?" Kagome sniffed in Inuyashas direction and then Eris'. She nodded yes and Inuyasha continued. "But they're not the same. Do you know why?"

"Uhh no. Isn't that what you're helping me with? Thats what I thought. Oh thank you Eri for helping me out too."

"N-no problem" Eri was extremely nervous about being smelled. She didn't know why though. Inuyasha, though, was losing his patience.

"Kagome, don't be a smart ass. We smell different because she's part cat and I'm part dog. And her scent is weaker because she's only 1/4 and I'm 1/2 demon. Now you can do whatever you want but I'm hungry." Inuyasha started towards the kitchen but Kagome stopped him.

"Hey Inuyasha, I have an Idea."

"What." Inuyasha snapped.

"Hold on." Kagome turned to face Eri. "Umm Eri, by the looks of things we might end up fighting and you don't want to see that so will you go tell my mom that I'm hungry and ask her to please make me something? Thank you." Kagome watched Eri leave and turned towards Inuyasha again. Before Inuyasha could snap at Kagome about her fighting remark, Kagome started telling him her idea.

"Okay. You probably won't like my idea but here goes. My idea is that we spend some time in my time here and you can teach me how to use my enhanced senses and maybe even how to fight. That way I'll be more helpful in finding the shards with you guys."

"How much time?"

"Uh... I was hopeing for... four months?"

"No, Thats too long!" Inuyashas yell was so loud that Kagome heard a glass shatter in the kitchen.

"Please? I'm a really fast learner and we can switch off the training from this era to yours and I'll even settle for only two months. All I want is to be more helpful in beating the demons for shards and if you train me then I can help. All you'd have to do is teach me about my new senses and how to fight, maybe even with a sword." Kagome suddenly gasped as she remembered something and quieted herself.

Inuyasha didn't notice as he thought about her proposal. It was a good idea but he didn't want to stop looking for the shards. But he finally gave in. "Fine, but only two months." Inuyasha fell over at the force of Kagome jumping at him and hugging him tightly. Kagome was chanting thank you but Inuyasha didn't notice. All he noticed was how close Kagome was to him. He was turning deep crimson and he only blushed deeper when she kissed his cheek and got up. She fixed her tangled white mass of hair unsuccessfully and spoke.

"Sorry about that. So now that it's settled we have one more important thing to discuss."

Inuyasha stood up and his blush has left so he was able to speak calmly. "What about?"

"I need a sword thats just like yours."

"Why? Do you want to be just like me?" Inuyasha teased her.

"No. You see, you don't know this but your sword contains the ability to hold but your demon self."

"What do you mean?"

"Inuyasha, think back to all the times when you were full demon. What do they have in common besides that they were life threating situations."

Inuyasha had to think for a while until it finally clicked in his head. "I didn't have my sword with me."

"Exactically. And you know that I tend to get into such situations alot. Do yo get why I need a sword now?"

"Yeah. I get it."

"Good. Tomorrow we'll go see Totosai and as soon as I have my sword then we'll come back her for some training. Okay."

"Fine, but every three days we are going to go through the well to my era for three days."

"Sure, thank you so much!" Kagome hugged him and went to the kitchen. "Hey Mom, did you make some food?"
