Shared life chapter number 13 (nice and long)

Inuyasha woke up the next day at dawn, well rested. He laid back and watched the sun rise as he thought of his dream. Great dream... The dream was of him and Kagome making love. He got all the way to being about to enter her when dawns rays woke him. Every time he had a dream with Kagome, it was always the same and always ended at the same time.

~Inuyasha's dream~

Inuyasha was standing on a branch of the tree outside of Kagome's room. The window was open and Kagome was inside looking at him. Inuyasha could tell by the look on Kagome's face that she wanted him to go inside. So he stepped through the window sil and stood in front of her.

As he looked down at her his need to be with her grew. Finaly, he couldn't hold it anymore and he took her into his embrace and kissed her. Kagome eagerly responded and wrapped her arms around him. Inuyasha traced her lower lip with his tounge for entrance and once again she obliged. Eventually, though, they had to breath, so as soon as they broke apart, Inuyasha started to kiss her neck and jawline. Kagome was breathing irregularly by the time Inuyasha fell onto the bed with kagome under him.

They adjusted themselves and continued to ravage the others body. Inuyasha started sucking on Kagomes neck and his hands were moving all over her. Kagome's mewls of delight and her rubbing his ears only made him want more. He sat up, pulling Kagome with him, and sliced off all of her clothes. She gasped and while she was distracted he stripped himself. When he looked back at Kagome, she was staring at his erection. He smirked and pushed her down with him once again on top of her.

Their hands touched all over each other as they swapped spit. But soon that wasn't enough. Inuyasha wanted more. So he started rubbing himself against her thigh. But once again it ended up as not enough. Therefor he positioned himself and was about to thrust into her when... *POP* He wakes up.

~End Dream~

By the time Inuyasha finished re-living his dream, he had a bit of a problemo down south. He didn't want to leave to take care of it in case he was followed. And he didn't want to relieve himself there since Kagome would smell it. Therefor he was stuck trying to think it away.

First he thought of ice. Which didn't work 'cuz Kagome would end up being in an ice cold river bathing. So he thought of Sesshomaru in a dress. At first it grossed him out but them his mind made Kagome shoot him and walk up in that 'swim suit' thingy. He kept trying for a while but to no avail. He just couldn't drop it. He was about to go relieve it when he caught a scent that made him go limp instantly. Koga. He jumped off the roof as soon as Kagome jetted out the door.

"Inuyasha, two jewel shards are headed this way, fast... and it smells like wet dog... ugh!" Kagome pinched her nose as Inuyasha stifled a laugh.

"It's not funny! It smells really really bad. Wait... thats Koga isn't it... whew he smells... I pity you Inuyasha. You've suffered from his smell worse than I thought. " Inuyasha just busted out laughing as Koga popped in. He just looked at Inuyasha funnily until he stopped his outburst. Then he looked at Kagome.

He could smell the faintest resemblance of Kagome, but he asumed it was from Kagome being there in the past. So he didn't have the faintest idea of who Kagome was. What he did know was that she looked 3 times better than Kagome and smelled even greater. And at the moment he decided that he wanted this girl... not Kagome. He walked up to Kagome and took her hand and pecked a kiss onto it.

"Well dog-shit who is this lovely specimen... you just can't be with her so I must know the name of this rose." Kagome's expression was of a confused person trying not to gag. It just smelled really bad....

Just after Koga said that Inuyasha got an ... interesting idea.

"Her name is Daygona. Back off of her." As he spoke he looked at 'Daygona' with expression filled eyes. What Kagome saw was mischief and amusement. Then it clicked in her head.

"Thats the name bubba. And you are... "

"Koga, nice to meet you. Can I call you Day? "

"No." She yanked he hand out of his grasp and Inuyasha spoke. Kagome saw that he hid his mischief filled eyes very well.

"I said back off of her, besides I thought you wanted Kagome. " What Koga said made Kagome really... well, her thoughts were currently on how to casterate Koga the most painful way possible while he screamed bloody murder. Even though he was talking about her still, it meant that Koga didn't think much of her human form. And that what was ticked her off.

"Kagome is nothing compared to this lovely lady here, dog-shit. Not only is this girl better looking and smelling, she also is half demon and just reeks of power. Much better for a prince of my stature." Kagome almost lost it right there, but to cover up she gagged and started laughing in a mocking tone.

"Me... with something that smells a bad as you? You wish pal. But I have and idea, let me just speak with Inu over there and I'll let you in on it in a second. M'kay? Great." She walked over to Inuyasha and the got out of hearing range, Then Kagome spilled out her plan.

"Can I fight him? I got a good plan.I'll make a deal and I'll get him to take out his shards so he can 'fight fair' and then I'll give you the shards and fight him. I'm going to try to materalize something like a sword so I can stick him to the ground. Like that arrow I used the other day. Trust me it'll work. If it doesn't then you can help me beat him." Inuyasha lulled it over a bit, and as soon as he imagined a helpless Koga stuck to the ground, he couldn't help but agree and snicker a bit.

Kagome took her time and walked back over to Koga. Inuyasha just sat off to the side a bit as Kagome put her plan into action.

"Alright then Koga, lets make a deal. We'll fight. If I win I get to keep you're jewel shards."

"And if you lose?"

"Then I'll give you a chance at being with me." Koga was just too egear to agree.

"It's a deal. This will be over in a snap."

"Wait. I want to fight fair. Take out your shards so I'll have a chance to win."

Koga complied and dug into his legs to take out the shards. He never once thought of how she knew of the shards. Never thought that she would steal them as he placed them into her clawed hand. Not once did he think of a hoax as she placed the shards into Inuyasha's hands and gave him a genuine smile. He didn't notice that the smile he got was fake. All he saw was those moonlit eyes. All he thought of was her appearence. He was fighting blind and he didn't even know it.

But Kagome and Inuyasha knew it all too well.

Koga took a fighting stance as Kagome stood erect and closed her eyes. After a moment of Koga staring at her chest and Inuyasha growling, Kagome became her 'super miko' self. Koga noticed her new eye color as they opened and he was entranced again. Then Kagome took her stance.

They looked at each other for just an instant when Koga made his first move. He jumped up and over Kagome , planning to kick her down from behind. But Kagome had other plans.

Kagome anticipated his move from seeing him fight so she jumped foward. Koga once again jumped at here but she spun around at just the right time to kick his gut. He went flying back into a large boulder and fell to the ground. He quickly got back up and said something.

"Your tougher than I thought. Thats good." He lunged at her but Kagome jumped onto him and jumped again, pushing him to the ground. He jumped up and pulled her foot while she was in the air, throwing her to the ground. She hit the ground hard but she just jumped back up. Koga landed and the both looked at each other. Each of their breathing a bit heavy from jumping around.

Kagome took advantage of the moment and started to produce a regular katana. She put her hand in front of her and watched as a purple blade appeared. She put her hand at the base, expecting a handle to appear, but it didn't. Instead, straps formed and the bland strapped itsefl to her arm, like and extension. She looked at it for a moment, studing it. She moved it about for a moment, liking how it moved with her arm and how light it was. Then she saw where the base of it was at her wrist.

The straps formed a large armband that went up to her elbow, holding the blade firmly out from above the first layer of cloth. Kagome also saw that the blade was very thin, but very wide in the middle, coming to several v shaped points all along the side. The points curved toward her , making it so that if she stabbed someone, when it came out it would rip the flesh more. She grinned and looked at Inuyasha.

Inuyasha saw the blade and felt bad for anyone who would be hit with it. IT looked like it would really hurt coming out. He saw Kagome grin at him and he suddenly knew why that type of blade formed, and he grinned back. It formed that way so if he wanted it out, he would have to suffer the pain of it. That way she wouldn't have to waste more energy to put a spell on it.

Kagome saw Inuyasha look confused, then grin. Taking it as approval she looked at Koga, who was a shade paler then earlier. He pulled out his lame Katana and prepared for a much more serious battle.

Koga swung his sword and Kagome hit it with such force that it broke . Kagome gawked at how much strength she possesed, along with Koga and Inuyasha. All three of them just looked at the broken sword in Koga's hand.

After moments of just standing there, Koga broke out of the stupor and punched Kagome in the stomach, causing her to hit a tree and slump to the ground. She groaned from the impact and made herself get up.

"Cheap shot." Kagome sputtered as she regained her breath. She took her stance and awaited the next attack.

Koga ran towards Kagome and tried to knock her out, but Kagome kicked him and he hit the ground sputtering. Then Kagome put her plan ino action and stabbed his left shoulder, pinning him down. She sliced off the blades bindings and became normal again. She had to sit down to catch her breath. Giving Inuyasha a chance to walk over and talk first. He sat as well and spoke to Koga, who was currently trying to think of a way to remove the blade without so much pain.

Right before Inuyasha spoke, Kagome got up, sat in his lap, and laid down.

"I'm not sleeping, I'm just sore and need to rest. I'll sleep after we talk to Koga."

"Okay." Inuyasha was all too happy to have her in her lap anyway. Kagome then spoke to Koga as she placed his shards with all the others they had.

"So Koga, how's it feel to not only be beaten by a girl, but by a girl who's name you don't even know." Koga's eyes just widened as he looked at her.

"Who are you then, really."

"Well Koga, If you must know then I'll tell you. I am the girl you kidnapped so I could find shikon shards for you. The girl you claimed to love even though you just met me. I am the girl who you said you wanted to be with, even though I don't like you and you just said that this version of me is better than my human half. The girl who used to be all human, but has changed for the better. Do you know who I am yet?" Koga's eyes widened and he paled as he listened. He gulped and spoke.

"Kagome?"

"Thats right Koga. Its me. In the flesh. Now how do you feel?"

"Terrible."

"Good. Now I am going to let Inuyasha talk to you while I sleep a bit. Wake me when your done and don't beat him while he's stuck, ok Inu?" She didn't wait for an answer as she started to nod off into a peaceful slumber.

Inuyasha wrapped his arms around Kagome and waited for Koga to say something. After a couple of minutes of glaring, Koga asked a question that was plauging his mind.

"How did Kagome get to be a hanyou?" Inuyasha didn't want to tell him, but then he'd risk Koga waking Kagome to ask her.

"Do you know what the shared Life ritual is?"

"Yea, the one to save dying loved ones. Only great spiritual powers can pull it off."

"Yea well Kagome was shot and had fatal wounds. I saved her by doing the shared life ritual. The after effects include her change."

"You have spiritual powers? "

"Yea stupid I do. It's what happens when your mother just happens to be a great miko."

"That means you love Kagome right?"

"Damn does everyone have to know? Yea yea I do." Koga just sat there thinking for a moment. Eventually though, he made a decision.

"Well Inuyasha, I will leave you and Kagome alone on one condition."

"And that would be..."

"Don't leave me out. I still want to see Kagome from time to time. That and if you tell me just who you really are. How you have such power for a hanyou." Inuyasha contemplated about his request. Then he decided to agree. Anything to stop him chasing Kagome.

"I agree. Now lets see... I guess I have my power on account of two reasons. One is that my mother was a powerful miko and my father was the previous Lord of the western lands. And two would be that I was on my own since I was 5 because my half brother , and the current lord of the western lands, killed my mother two years after my father died. He didn't like how my mother took our father away from his mother. That good enough for you?"

"Yea. So your the missing son of Lord Taioku. I never saw that coming."

"Missing?"

"Everyone knows that Lord Taioku had two sons. We all know about Sesshomaru, but no one knows of the younger one, it's rumored that he was killed after he was orphaned. "

"No I'm still here. But I'm done with this talk about me. Anything else to talk about?"

"No."

"Okay, time to wake up Kagome." Inuyasha slightly shook Kagome but she only stirred slightly. He thought for a moment until he thought of a plan.

Koga watched as Inuyasha started to tickle Kagomes sides. She squirmed for a while but didn't wake so Inuyasha had to bring out the heavy artillary. He took off her socks and shoes and started to tickle her feet. She tried to pull away but he held on firm. Finally she woke up growling. But the growl quickly turned into laughter as her torment continued.

"Inuyasha! Stop *laugh* it already, I'm awake!" He reluctantly stoped the tickle torture and fixed her socks and shoes. Koga then spoke to Inuyasha.

"I would have never thought of that." Kagome looked over to see Koga still pinned to the ground.

"Oh hi Koga. I forgot for a moment that you were still here. Did you two have a nice talk?"

"Yea, me an Inuyasha did. Now can you take this blade thing out without ripping a bigger hole?"

"Oh! I forgot all about that thing. Hold on." Kagome got up and gripped the clothed part of her blade. She concentrated for a moment and the blade dissolved, leaving a bloody hole in Koga's shoulder.

"Now let me bandage that and you can be on your way." Kagome ripped off the lower part of her shirt and wrapped up his wound. She then realised that she had very few clothing that she could still wear. She decided to bring it up later.

"Now Koga you better be off to your pack. That wrap won't last long."

"Right. Goodbye Kagome. Inuyasha." And with those last sentements he was off.
