CHAPTER ELEVEN
THE UNINVITED VISITOR

"Ack! Kagome-chan!" Daisuke protested. Kagome had snatched the thing that Dai had been holding right out of his hands. It was a picture of Riku Harada. "Hee hee." She grinned wickedly. "What were you trying to do? Transform here?"

"Yes actually!" Daisuke snapped, blushing. "He told me to!"

"Oh?" Kagome turned. "Why? There's nothing worth stealing here."

"That's not why!" Daisuke sighed and slid to his knees in defeat. "Please give it back before someone sees!"

Kagome tossed it at him. "Why are you trying to change here?" She asked again.

"Eh. Dark keeps whining about something. He says that he keeps sensing something unusual."

"And you're listening to him?" Kagome huffed. "Dark you big bully! Leave Dai alone!" She yelled at Daisuke. He flinched in response.

"He said to shut up." Daisuke grinned.

"Shut it!" Kagome yelped. "So what is it? The thing he's sensing?"

"I dunno." He looked at the picture in his hands. "Ask him yourself." He said before shifting into Dark's form. Dark stood and stretched. Kagome eyed his form with appreciation. Then she mentally slapped herself when he noticed and smirked. "Like what you see?" He asked arrogantly.

"Feh." She said, using one of Inuyasha's favorite terms. "I've seen better." She blushed at the thought. Sesshoumaru truly was a sight. She'd never told Inuyasha, but she and Sango had discussed how very pretty his older brother was. She frowned, missing the demon hunter dearly.

"WHAT? BETTER THAN ME!?" He exclaimed, insulted.

"Yes. But his character was far less than yours. He could pull off a better insult though." She pointed out. Well, it was true. "But anyway-" Kagome stopped. Her eyes widened. No. It couldn't be. She felt the traces of an aura separate from Dark's and this time it was one she recognized.

Kagome whirled around and looked out of the nearest window. She would've been seriously mad if it wasn't for his stupidity. A fluffy pair of dog ears sprouted from a pool of white hair behind a bush. Kagome couldn't see anything other than that, but it was enough. "Wazzup?" Dark said, walking over to the window. He froze. "Is that a..dog?" He questioned, uncertainly.

She sighed and opened the window. "INUYASHA GO HOME AND LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!" She yelled and slammed the window before he could stand up to throw a comeback. He did stand up and he glared at her.

"Oh is he what I felt?" Dark said. "I knew you were weird, Kags."

Kagome very nearly protested at the nickname. Nearly. With a determined expression she turned and stomped down the hall with Dark on her heals. "Turn back!" she ordered. "There's no point in it now! I can deal with that damn hanyou!"

"But-"

"We don't need you getting caught! Change back!" Kagome didn't want to tell him the real reason she wanted him to change back. One slice of tetsusaiga and Dark would be toast. Maybe. Either way, she didn't want trouble.

Dark glared and yanked Kagome back into his chest. "Kagome, listen to me!" he snapped. She turned a scowl on him. "What?"

"I remember what you said the first night I met you. You cried and cried Inuyasha. If this is the same bastard that made you cry, then let me take care of him." Dark struck a pose. "I can take on anyone! Don't forget who you're dealing with."

Kagome looked at her feet. "It's not that. Dark. He could really hurt you. Inuyasha's not normal." She plucked up her courage. "He could hurt you and I know you don't really care what happens to you, but what about Dai? What will happen to him? I don't want anyone getting hurt! I've seen enough of that?"

Dark crossed his arms and glared over her head. "It wasn't him was it?"

She was confused. "Wasn't him what?"

"That you thought was better-looking than me?"

Kagome cracked up. "NO! I didn't mean him!" She then realized how utterly mean that sounded.

Dark grinned. "Okay good!" He turned to the window and opened it. "Time to kill a hanyou!" He smirked before diving out the window, leaving a disgruntled Kagome behind.

Whatcha think? Good way to end a chapter! Updating soon. Sooner if you would review

Kay, I haven't really decided yet, but I might be basing this story purely on the manga...I have to watch the anime before I end his and maybe set a place where this story could start. We'll see.

If I go with the manga it'll start right after vol. 8.
Thanks so much for reading guys!
it is long from an end.
