AN: hi everyone, you probably have forgotten about me by now since I haven’t updated in awhile and I know that you probably don’t want to read about me tell all the reasons why I haven’t updated so I will just let you read the chapter with no other interruptions.

Chapter 6
Last time:
Both their eyes widened as they realized that there were calluses on each others hand.
This time:
‘ Oh my god! Maybe it won’t be so bad after all hmm this might actually be kind of fun.’ Kagome thought to her self as she let go of Sango’s hand.
“Sorry to interrupt Miss Sango, but Miss Kagome can you please show me where to put this its kind of heavy.”
The driver said while holding up Sango’s heavy looking clothes chest.
“Oh sorry about that, please come in and I will show where to put it.”
Kagome said while leading them though the front door and then up the stair case on the right. Eventually, much to the dismay of the driver, they made it to Sango’s room. The driver put Sango’s luggage down and headed down the stairs to try to find his way back to the front door.
“Umm I am not sure but I think that he went down the wrong stair case.” Sango said.
“ Oh your right maybe I should stop him…oh well. So since he is gone can you tell me why you have calluses on your hands?” Kagome said.
“Oh well I guess I could tell you since you have calluses too, I have them because I like to-”
“Kagome dear, Sango its time for lunch and I think it would be in your best interest, Kagome, to not be late this time.” Kani said after she burst through the door scaring the living daylights out of both girls and effectively cutting off what Sango was about to say.
“Yes ma’am!” Both girls exclaimed before following her down to the dinning hall.
(Sango’s POV)
As we walked into the dinning hall I noticed that there were many paintings on the wall some were of all of the family but most just had Kani and whatever that other girls name was keiki or something like that I can’t remember what it was.
“Hello again Sango, do you like your room? If not there is a room open next to Kikyo’s if you would rather sleep there it gets kind of cold in the wing you are in now. Kagome’s is the only room on that wing besides yours but she said that she likes the cold.” Naru said to me between mouthfuls of Lunch which was fish and rice.
“ Oh I am fine where I am now so there is no need to change rooms. I don’t believe I said this earlier but thank you for letting me stay here, Mr. Higurashi.” I replied. After that everyone ate and talked about different things well except for Kagome and myself. I didn’t say anything because they were talking about the latest fashion and stuff like that even Mr. Higurashi was which is very creepy. I heard a very faint ‘may I be excused’ before Kagome who was sitting next to me got up from the table but her dress had other plans. I think these things have a mind of there own.
(Kagome’s POV)
As always I am ignored at the dinner table, oh well since I am not a part of there conversation I can leave with out being noticed. I stood up from my chair after excusing myself from the table when the leg of the chair moved on top of my rather poofy dress. And I am sure you can figure out what happened next but I will tell you anyway. The bottom of the dress that was caught under the chair, instead of breaking like it should have, held strong which made me fall straight to the floor but the problem was I thought I could grab on to Sango’s chair and keep myself from falling but I ended up knocking her chair over to with her in it so now we are both in a mess of chair and human.
My family finally notices that we have fallen and lean over us to see if we are all right but Kikyo puts her hand on the table right down on the end of Sango’s fork which still had a piece of fish on it. And that causes the fish to hit my glass of grape juice knocking it right into Sango’s and my face.
(normal POV)
"You stupid girl, you can't even get up from the table without destroying the whole castle!" Kani yelled at her youngest daughter.
"Sorry momma." Kagome replied as she got up and headed toward stairs that lead to her side of the castle.
"That girl needs to learn how to act more like a lady especially when we have guests." Kani said before going back to her side of the table to finish her meal. Naru looked at the stairs that Kagome had disappeared through and then back at Kani like he was trying to choose between going after Kagome and facing Kani's wrath or staying down here and out of trouble. He quickly decided to stay where it was safe so he went to the other side of the table and continued his meal.
Sango stood up from the floor, after fighting the damn poofy dress that kept getting tangled around her legs, she asked to be excused. After getting permission to leave the table she headed up stairs to see how Kagome was doing. After going down many hallways she finally found Kagome's room. Knocking on the door she heard a light " Come in" from the other side of the door. Sango walked into the room to see Kagome hiding on the other side of the bed.
"Uh Kagome I know that we have only known each other for not even a day but I do hope you will excuse my language. now what the hell are you hiding behind the bed for woman?! If your mom scares you that much I will personally go down there and beat her up for you." Sango said enthusiastically while rolling up the sleeves of her dress. It made a very funny site considering that she was almost drowning in the poofiness of the dress.
"I am not hiding for that reason I thought you were my sister and I didn't want her to see what I am wearing. I will show you if you swear that you will not laugh and you will never tell anyone about this." Kagome said still hiding behind the bed.
"Okay okay I promise not to laugh now show me already." With that said Kagome stepped out from behind the bed wearing some cut off shorts (yes i am aware that this is a long time ago and they didn't have shorts but i hate the word britches so i refuse to use it in my story so just use your imagination of what it might look like.) and a really oversized shirt.
"Well i think you look really comfortable unlike me who is stuck in this horrible dress." Sango said.
" I know its like they are trying to kill use by making us wear them. I have another outfit like this one do you want to wear it?"
"Hell yeah but what if someone comes up here while we are still in these clothes?"
"No one usually comes up here during this time because they have things to do that keep them really busy." Kagome said.
Kagome turned around to go to the closet to get the other outfit for Sango when her shirt got snagged on the bed post she was standing next to. As she tried to get loose it pulled the shirt down her shoulder and when she tried to pull up on it it showed her stomach where something shinny hung around her waist.
"Oh my god that is so pretty. Is that rubies and emeralds on it? And why does it look like a cross bone?" Sango asked.
"Before I tell you that you have to answer my question, what is your opinion of Pirates?"
AN: I realize that there are probably many mistakes in this chapter and I am sorry but the word thing I was using to type with quit on me so now i am stuck with wordpad and it doesn't spell check so i am sorry about all the misspelled words and the lowercase "i"s. i keep saying that the training will come in the next chapter but then i figured out that there is a lot of stuff that i need to put in before the training so please just bear with me here and i am sorry that it took so long but i hope you have not given up on me. please review and tell what you think and if you have any suggestions they are most welcome.
