Kagome was severely pissed. Not slightly, not a little, severely. Koga wasn't letting up. He kept trying to touch her… sleep next to her, trying to hold her. And this time was no different. Koga came up behind her and put his arms around her waist.

"Get off me!" Kagome hissed. This time he didn't let go, but she would change that.

A right leg made a quick up-thrust into the middle of a certain demon's legs. The arms fell away as he hit the ground. So maybe this time was a little different after all. Kagome scoffed and stepped away. "Maybe that'll teach you."

Inuyasha looked kind of funny with the black war paint on his face. The ears covered by a tight fitting hat, black, like everything else he wore at this moment. Sango had to suppress a giggle, knowing he was going through all this for Kagome. "Are you sure you don't want any help?" She asked, for what Inuyasha considered was the tenth time… within six minutes. "No. I have a better chance of getting out alive if I only have to worry about two people."

He checked himself for one last time. He had his sword. They would have theirs plus whatever else they carry, possible weapons. "Fine. Just be careful. I know Kagome wouldn't want you to get hurt."

Inuyasha only gave her a look out of the corner of his eye. Sango saw just the side of piercing golden eyes. "Look. The truth is I don't know what is going to happen… but if something should happen… just take care of them for me… will you?"

"Of course!" Sango said as he ran out the door.

===================================================

Two guards walked past a large section of a fence. One of it's support beams very apparent by a budge in the concrete fence.

If they have guards walking the grounds… demon guards, then that will minimize the chance of civilian presence.

You think you're special

You do, I can see it in you eyes

I can see it when you laugh at me

Look down on me, walk around on me

Just one

More thing about your leadership

And I will strait up leave you shit

Cause I've had enough of this, now I'm pissed

Inuyasha was silent as he ran swiftly across the courtyard. Sure that there were no more guards. They all seemed to be wolf guards… At least I know I'm in the right place.

This time I'm-a let it all come out

This time I'm gonna stand up and shout

I'm gonna do things my way

It's my way - my way or the highway

This time I'm-a let it all come out

This time I'm gonna stand up and shout

I'm gonna do things my way

It's my way - my way or the highway

Inuyasha opened the backdoor of the building. He realized that it led to the back stairwell. Inuyasha ran up the stairs… well not ran but jumped the whole way. Eight floors. He thought as he reached the eighth set of stairs.

Just one more thing about a lot of things

And I will give up everything

To be on my own again

Free again

This time I'm-a let it all come out

This time I'm gonna stand up and shout

I'm gonna do things my way

It's my way - my way or the highway

This time I'm-a let it all come out

This time I'm gonna stand up and shout

I'm gonna do things my way

It's my way - my way or the highway

Some day you'll see things my way

Cause you never know, that you never know when you're gonna go

Some day you'll see things my way

Cause you never know, that you never know when you're gonna go

He opened the door and slipped in. Looking around the hall he saw two retreating backs of guards walking around the corner. He saw one red button. An alarm. Time to get the party started? No not yet.

He sniffed around. Diffidently the right floor. I can smell Kagome all over it. Along with… pain? But not her's… someone else.

`Come one. Let me come out to play.' The demon within hissed. Inuyasha sighed. It may be a good idea. He sat on the floor, letting his bangs cover his eyes as he let his demon self take over. Ever with the blinding power of his sword, he was able to do it.

`I'll take it from here.'

Inuyasha's human side fell back as his demon side remained sitting, hitting the alarm button next to him.

Just more one thing and I'll be history

Yes I'll strait up leave your shit

And you'll be the one who's left, missing me

This time I'm-a let it all come out

This time I'm gonna stand up and shout

I'm gonna do things my way

It's my way - my way or the highway

This time I'm-a let it all come out

This time I'm gonna stand up and shout

I'm gonna do things my way

It's my way - my way or the highway

Some day you'll see things my way

Cause you never know, that you never know when you're gonna go

Some day you'll see things my way

Cause you never know, that you never know.

Inuyasha watched as three guards swarmed him at the same time. He stood up and extended his claws. Slashing through the first two while the third called every guard in the building. He got his last sentence out when the hanyou's claws went through his body.

He took his sword out, letting it transform in his hands. He swung it around his back, hitting a guard that was coming from behind him. Three more came and three more fell to the ground.

He ran through the halls, slaying guards as they came at him. He was sure that there was only five left in the building as no more took the place of a fallen comrade. He had scared them… that was a good thing.

He herd something from behind the door. A whimper…

Kagome!

Another, muffled, voice came from behind the door.

"Shut up! I won't shoot you unless I have to. I'll only shoot him."

So you think. Inuyasha scoffed. Grabbing one of the fallen guards guns. He hid it under his clothes as he busted the door down.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome called, clearly within the grasp of Koga.

Inuyasha didn't move. One wrong move would mean the end of it all.

"What do you want that you slain my guards?"

"I want Kagome back."

Kagome was taken back fully seeing his eyes for the first time. Blood dripped from the claws. Inuyasha… what has happened to you?

Koga smirked. "Why don't we fight this out as men." He said, tossing Kagome to the side.

Inuyasha had to suppress the urge to run and catch her as Koga seemingly put his gun away.

Inuyasha's father's words echoed in his head.

"The story of the wind the wolf and the dog vary from tale to tale. But it always ends in one way. Two on one. Not as it appears."

"You really are a fool. Notice how Kagura hasn't come for you. It's because she has switched sides. You fool. She betray you."

"The dog was at a disadvantage. However he faced them, one at a time."

Inuyasha was so caught up in his thoughts until Koga re-drew his weapon in slow motion. Inuyasha did the same at the last moment. The demon and human in him saw the look on Koga's face realizing his fatal mistake.

Both pulled the trigger at the same time. Someone's aim better than the others.
