Kagome woke up and looked around her ears going back when she couldn't find Inuyasha. Kagome got out from under the covers and walked over to the door sticking her head out. Inuyasha was at the door talking to some one. Kagome smiled and walked over, out of sight of the person at the door, Inuyasha's ears moved she knew that he knew she was there although he kept going with his conversation.

 

“So today do to lack of students there will be no classes for a while.” Kee said ignoring the fact the Kagome had walked up and was out of his sight.

 

“I can't believe some one bought that many people.” Inuyasha said as he shook his head. “I'm sure he's broke for the time being.”

 

“No I'm sure he still has plenty of money, but wealthy people need company too.” Kee said with a shrug.

 

“I'm sure.” Inuyasha snorted.

 

“Well your mind isn't all here, so I'll let you get back to Kagome.” Kee said as he turned and left.

 

Inuyasha shut the door and smiled at Kagome, “Well then I guess we all get a day off or two, or three, maybe a week.”

 

“So tell me was Kikyo on that list of people I never have to put up with again?” Kagome asked hopefully.

 

“Sorry, but no, though her friend did get the boot.” Inuyasha said with a shrug as he pulled Kagome towards him, and laid his hands on her hips.

 

“That doesn't help me, though I'm sure Sango's happy enough to do cartwheels, even if Miroku was there.” Kagome said with a smile.

 

“Hmm speaking of him….Go see Sango I'll come get you when I'm done.” Inuyasha said with a smirk.

 

“Why, what are you going to do?” Kagome asked as he led her out the door.

 

“Nothing to important, nothing you should see.” Inuyasha said as he started walking away. “To violent, I need to teach him a lesson about eavesdropping.”

 

Kagome shook her head as she walked up into the cabin, “Hey Sango.”

 

Sango jumped up hugging her friend saying, “Are you ok?!”

 

“Not so loud Sango.” Kagome yelped as she got out of the unusually strong girls grip. “Other then the fact that I think I'm deaf in one ear, I'm fine.”

 

“But Kee was looking for you.” Sango said as she looked at the girl. “Did he bite you?” Sango asked pointing at her hip.

 

Kagome looked down and noticed the small bite mark. I'm going to get that Inuyasha, I might be cat but I'm not a cheetah. “Not Kee.” Kagome said with a blush.

 

“What did Inuyasha do to you?!” Sango yelled as she stomped towards the door.

 

Kagome got in the way of the door saying with a slight smile, “Besides invade my personal space indefinitely, and make me his mate nothing that I would hurt him, to bad, for.”

 

“Mate…” Sango said with a smirk. “I knew it! See I told you!”

 

“I know, I know.” Kagome said with a smile as she rolled her eyes.

 

“But that only explains the bite on your shoulder, but what about your hip, the out side of you thigh, and the one on your wrist.” Sango said pointing each one out.

 

“He decided to use the fact that I'm half cat demon against me for my punishment.” Kagome said as she looked to confirm what Sango was seeing. “That's it I'm going to hit him so hard he's going to be seeing stars for a week.”

 

“Oh, let's see.” Sango said thoughtfully as she followed Kagome. “Oh I know cat demons are affectionate and almost as physical as dog demons. Let's see what else.”

 

“You can stop there, though it's not one of my favorite traits, female cat demons are extremely violent when it comes to their body being marred, even if it is only temporary, unless they had something to do with it or they deserve it.” Kagome stopped walking as she stopped in front of Inuyasha who had a knocked out Miroku at his feet. “And I certainly didn't deserve what I got.”

 

“Don't start with me mate.” Inuyasha said with a smirk.

 

“Inuyasha you knew perfectly well that as soon as I noticed everything I'd at least attempt to cause you some kind of injury.” Kagome said as she put her hands on her hips.

 

“True I knew this, but your go going to be a good kitty and just let it drop, otherwise we could pick up again tonight.” Inuyasha said his smirk getting more arrogant if that was possible.

 

“You wouldn't.” Kagome said glaring at him.

 

“I would,” Inuyasha said as he walked closer to her, and kissed her hard. “And you know it.”

 

Kagome blushed when she noticed Miroku was awake, and was smiling up at them, more her then anything. “Touch me and I'll use you as a scratching post.”

 

“What did I tell you about looking at my mate?!” Inuyasha yelled at Miroku as he kicked him in the side.

 

“Don't look, and or touch her in a perverted way, other wise I would not have use of my lower body and you don't mean my legs.” Miroku said as he stood up.

 

“Good boy.” Inuyasha said as he looked from him to Sango. “Yes.”

 

“So besides your mate what did you beat him up for, and I don't know if I've told you this but that's creepy.” Sango said from beside Kagome.

 

“Because you and him were eavesdropping, and yes you have. The first time we met I believe.” Inuyasha said with a smirk.

 

“That's creepy too.” Kagome said as she walked away with Sango.
