It was after school, Kagome, Inuyasha, Sango, and Miroku talked about unimportant things. They said their goodbyes in the parking lot and Inuyasha walked over to his car. Inuyasha walked around it looking for something.

“What are you looking for?” Kagome asked looking confused as Inuyasha searched.

“Scratches, writing, dents, stuff like that.” Inuyasha said as he looked.

“Nobody would do that to your car here!” Kagome said.

“I guess your right, my car looks fine, besides this isn't Tokyo.” Inuyasha said and opened the passenger door and Kagome got in.

“Thank you!” Kagome giggled. Kagome heard high heels running.

“Wait!” Kagome new that voice and she rolled her eyes and turned around to confirm what she already know.

“Hey Kikyo, what's up?” Inuyasha greeted.

“Oh, I'm so glad I caught you!” Kikyo said in a husky voice. “I need a ride home, I live a lone with my sister and I need to make dinner soon.” Kikyo said, desperate.

“Sure I was just going to drive Kagome home too.” Inuyasha smiled sweetly and looked over to Kagome, “Is that ok?”

“Sure!” Kagome said and gave a fake smile.

“Goodie!” Kikyo said and bounced up and down making her overly grown breasts jump too. Inuyasha opened his door and pulled up the seat so Kikyo could sit in the back. “Thanks! I hope this isn't too much trouble?”

“No problem!” Inuyasha said as he started up the car. “So where to?”

“Oh, its Naraku River street!” Kikyo said happily and then looked at Kagome, “Oh hi… um… Kagura right?”

“Kagome.” Kagome corrected.

“Oh right!” Kikyo said.

Kagome never really had anything against Kikyo until she stool Sango's boyfriend and broke her heart. Kagome knew that Kikyo had problems; her mom left her and her sister Kaede when Kaede was just a baby and her dad died 2 years ago. And about 7 months ago Kikyo was making dinner and somehow a knife got her sister in the eye. She was in the hospital for long time before coming home.

“It's right there!” Kikyo said, pulling Kagome from her thoughts. Kikyo was pointing to a house that looked more like a hut by Naraku River. Which was named for the son of the mayor. Kikyo's house was little a little dirty; Inuyasha pulled the car to the front and helped Kikyo get out. “Thanks for the ride!” Kikyo said and gave Inuyasha a kiss on the cheek. Kagome heart sank as she watched him blush furiously.

Inuyasha cleared his throat nervously, “Again, No problem!” Kagome rolled her eyes.

Inuyasha watched her walk in to the small house before he got in the car and drove away. He had a goofy smile on his face and Kagome knew he was thinking about her.

“Um, Inuyasha?” Kagome asked.

Inuyasha shook his head and turned to her, “What?”

“Um, do you like Kikyo?” Kagome asked not looking him in the eye.

“Uh… Well? I think she's nice and pretty.” Inuyasha said looking at the road.

“Oh… ok.” Kagome said and gave him a fake smile but she was breaking inside.

Inuyasha looked at Kagome, “Is something wrong?”

“No, I'm just glad you found someone you like.” Kagome gave him a fake smile.

“I don't like her! I just think she's nice!” Inuyasha defended herself.

“Sure, what ever you say.” Kagome sighed and looked away from Inuyasha.

“I'm serous!” Inuyasha argued. Kagome didn't respond she just sighed. When they got to their houses Inuyasha parked in his drive way. Kagome got out and was walking toward her house when Inuyasha grabbed her arm.

“What?” Kagome turned to him.

“You said you where going to go to my house today.” Inuyasha reminded her.

“On yeah, sorry let me wash up a bit at my house then I'll come over in about a half an hour, ok?” Kagome smiled sweetly this time.

“Ok!” Inuyasha returned the smile then watched her walk to her house. Then Inuyasha turned and walked into his house. “I'm home!”

“Hi dear!” A human woman came to greet her son and kissed him on the forehead. “Is your new friend coming over?”

“Yeah, she's just getting ready at her house. Is dad coming?” Inuyasha asked hopefully.

“He's has to work late today abut he'll be back for dessert.” Inuyasha's dad was the mayor's right hand man; he handled all the smaller stuff.

“Good `cause I want him to meet Kagome!” Inuyasha said.

Kagome was in her room; she already washed her face and told her mom right now she wanted to think. Inuyasha doesn't like me; if he did he wouldn't have flirted with Kikyo right in front of me! But why should I care its not like he's my boyfriend or something, and I don't like him anyways! He's just my friend! “Yeah!” Kagome said to herself.

Kagome walked over to Inuyasha's house with her school bag and pressed the ring bell and after like 3 seconds Inuyasha answered.

“Oh, good you're here! Come in!” Kagome nodded and walked in.

“Inuyasha is that your friend?” Kagome saw Inuyasha's human mom and was a bit shocked. I knew that Inuyasha was a half demon but I didn't about the other half.

“Yeah mom, this is Kagome! Kagome this is my mom!” Inuyasha introduced.

“Hi!” Kagome said and shook Inuyasha's mom's hand.

“Hello, oh Inuyasha she is so pretty!” Inuyasha's mom said and Kagome blushed.

Kagome hear the door open but didn't have time to move. The door swung open and hit Kagome, she was falling and her bag flew out of her arms.

“Kagome!” Inuyasha yelled and caught Kagome before she hit the floor.

“Oh! I'm sorry!” A man that looked just like Inuyasha said. The man had the same amber eyes, buff body, and silver hair, but he had a moon tattoo on his forehead and purple streaks on his cheeks. And he was older and taller.

“Oh, Its okay! Really I'm fine!” Kagome assured him.

“Are you sure honey?” Inuyasha's mom looked worried.

“Yeah!” Kagome smiled sweetly. Inuyasha let her go and lunged toward the man. He moved out of the way and Inuyasha fell on the floor.

“Idiot! Acting in such a way in front of your girlfriend!” The Inuyasha look-a-like said coolly. And Kagome blushed.

“Me the idiot? Your…” Inuyasha started then he thought for a moment,” She's not my girlfriend!” Inuyasha yelled

“Either way you shouldn't act in such a way in front of such a beauty.” The man said and grabbed Kagome's hand and kissed it, “ Pardon my rudeness, my name is Sesshomaru, I'm Inuyasha's half brother.”

“Nice to meet you!” Kagome smiled and blushed.

“Okay enough fighting and introductions! Its rude to our guest!” Inuyasha's mom said as she picked up Kagome's bag. “Inuyasha and Kagome there's time before dinner is ready, you two can do your homework in Inuyasha's room.”

Inuyasha nodded and grabbed Kagome's hand and leaded her up stairs and to his room. It was bigger then Kagome's with white paint and bed with boxes everywhere.

“So I wrote down my homework today.” Inuyasha said and looked trough his bag for his stuff.

“Good!” Kagome giggled and got out her things and sat on Inuyasha's bed.

They did their homework for a while.

“Inuyasha?” Kagome said.

“Yeah?”

“Where's your father?” Kagome asked.

“He's coming soon, maybe after dinner.” Inuyasha said. “Kagome? If you don't mind… where was your dad yesterday?”

“My dad died years ago.” Kagome said sadly.

“Oh… Kagome I'm sorry!” Inuyasha said.

“Its okay!” Kagome smiled at him sweetly. Then Sesshomaru came in.

“Dinners ready, and dad is here.” He said before leaving.

Inuyasha took Kagome down stairs where another man was waiting for them with Inuyasha's mom. The man like Sesshomaru, had a purple marks on his cheeks and like the two brothers, had silver hair and amber eyes.

“Honey you where right! The girl does look like you in your youth!” The man said to Inuyasha's mom.

“Hi dad, your early, this is Kagome!” Inuyasha said proudly.

“Hi!” Kagome smiled and gave a little wave.

“Hi Kagome, don't be shy come down here.” Inuyasha's dad said.

Kagome walked down the stairs with Inuyasha at her side. Inuyasha's dad looked at Kagome then turned to Inuyasha.

“Good girlfriend you have here Inuyasha!” Inuyasha's dad smiled.

“Dad she's not my girlfriend!” Inuyasha blushed furiously.

“Sure son, now lets eat I'm starving!” Inuyasha's dad and mom walked into the dinning room. Inuyasha and Kagome followed.

“Kagome sit next to Inuyasha!” Inuyasha's mom said and led Kagome to the empty chair beside Inuyasha and sat her down.

The dinner conversation was about the same at Kagome's house except all the questions where to Kagome. Kagome answered politely and ate with class, Inuyasha smiled at her but Kagome felt uncomfortable. Kagome saw that Sesshomaru was looking at her a lot and smiling.

“Kagome… Sesshomaru is in his second year in medical college and has a daughter named Rin.” Inuyasha's mom said.

“Wow that's good!” Kagome said.

“Yes but his horrible ex- girlfriend has Rin most of the time. And now that we moved Rin only sees her father on the weekends.” Inuyasha's dad said and sighed.

“Kagome you look like a kids person, how many do you want?” Inuyasha's mom asked.

“Oh, about 4 or 5 if I find the right guy.” Kagome said.

“I think Inuyasha would be the wrong guy then.” Sesshomaru said, “He doesn't like kids.”

“Oh but Inuyasha kids are great!” Kagome said to Inuyasha.

“I don't like them, When Rin was born and all she did was crap and cry.” Inuyasha said.

“But Inuyasha kids are more then that! They love and are so cute and its fun to watch them grow!” Kagome explained.

“Well I guess just like you said I would have kids if the right woman came along.” Inuyasha admitted.

“I think that Kagome should be that woman!” Inuyasha's mom said. Now Kagome was getting really nervous.

“Mom!” Inuyasha said and Kagome saw him blushing.

After dinner Inuyasha and Kagome did there homework upstairs then Inuyasha's mom brought up some hot chocolate.

“Kagome do you wan to sleep over?” Inuyasha's mom asked.

“Sure! But I have to ask my mom.” Kagome said happily.

“I already asked, she said it was fine and she would drop off your stuff later.” She smiled. “Also, Inuyasha told me to make hot chocolate, He said it's your favorite.”

“It is thanks!” Kagome said and Inuyasha's mom left. “Inuyasha that is so sweet!” Kagome said and kissed Inuyasha on the cheek and he turned a bright red. “So I'm done with my homework, how are you doing?” Kagome said as she put away her books.

“I'm done too.” Inuyasha said and put away his books too.

Inuyasha turned on his TV and they watched it together. And they didn't mean to but they both fell asleep.
