Inuyasha followed Kagome's voice through the halls of dressing rooms. When he finally got to his destination Kikyo's friends were holding on to Kikyo and Ayame and Sango were holding Kagome back.

“What the hell is going on here?” Inuyasha yelled over the girl's screams.

“Oh, Inuyasha!” Kikyo gasped. She quickly pulled away from her friends and fixed her hair. Inuyasha rolled his eyes at her and looked at Kagome who was still trying to hit Kikyo.

“Kagome?” Inuyasha said, confused at her behavior.

“She started it!” Kagome yelled but stopped swing around and look at her feet in shame.

A man walked in the dressing room with Koga and Miroku. The unknown man walked over to Kikyo.

“Hey honey, nice dress.” He said coolly, his hands in his pockets, and kissed her hand.

Kikyo blushed but then glared at Kagome, “Thanks, but that girl wants to buy it too! Make her take it off!” Some men in back suits and sunglasses came in but everybody ignored them.

The man looked at Kikyo then Kagome and nodded. He started to walk toward Kagome. He weirdly looked familiar to her. Inuyasha protectively got in his way, right in front of Kagome.

The man smiled, “It would be best if you moved out of my way,” He said.

“Don't you dare tell me or Kagome what to do!” Inuyasha yelled.

The man chuckled, “Who the hell do you think you are?” Miroku said starting to get annoyed.

“Like you don't know him?! You've known him your whole life, idiot!” Kikyo scoffed and crossed her arms.

“Don't worry honey, I have no problems introducing myself.” He said, “I'm Naraku, son of the mayor,” He looked at Inuyasha. “Who are you? I've never seen you before,”

“Inuyasha, I moved here at the begging of the year.” Inuyasha said. “And you being the mayor's son doesn't mean shit!”

“Oh my,” Naraku said in annoying voice, “You must be new here, you have no idea what I can do to you.” He looked at Kagome who was standing be hide him, “You also must not know what kind of girl Kagome is,” he said and chuckled.

“God! This dude is seriously getting annoying!” Koga yelled.

“Ha! Good to see you again Koga,” Naraku said. Koga growled at him but Ayame held his arm and shook her head.

“What do you mean I don't know what kind of girl Kagome is?” Inuyasha asked.

“I don't have time for this!” Kikyo said loudly, “Make her take off my dress!” Kikyo stomped her foot.

He sighed, “Honey, I found this dress I thought you'd like it better,” Naraku said and snapped his fingers one of the men with sunglasses brought her a bagged dress. Kikyo unzipped the bag and saw the dress.

“Oh my god! Baby I love it!” Kikyo said and kissed Naraku on the lips.

“I thought you would, I had it flown in from Paris,” He said, “Now go get changed and well go out,” He said and kissed Kikyo again. Kikyo's friends awed but everybody else rolled their eyes. Kagome didn't like her dress very much anymore, the thought that Kikyo had liked it made her want to burn it.

Kagome found an even better dress, it was an ivory green, floor length, halter dress, and it was beautiful. Sango found a mid-leg, dark purple, cocktail dress with black trimming. And Ayame found a light blue floor length dress, with spaghetti straps. At Kagome's house everybody tried on their outfits for their dates. Inuyasha's tux looked great too, he looked like prince charming. His tux was simple black, but it showed off his muscular body perfectly. Miroku got a dark purple sports jacket with matching pants and a white undershirt. Koga got a suit made from alligator skin and he also bought sunglasses just for fun.

When the boys saw their dates they were speechless. Sango could swear Miroku was drooling but just giggled. Kagome was staring at Inuyasha and was hypnotized by this handsome looks, Inuyasha just smiled widely,

“You look beautiful!” Inuyasha said shyly. Kagome smiled widely and kissed him on the lips.

“Thanks!” Kagome whispered in his ear.

Ayame waved her hand in front of Koga's face; his eyes were wide ever since she came in. “Are you ok?” Ayame said and kept waving her hand in front of his face.

Koga finally blinked and smiled widely. “Wow…” Koga said and look her over again and she blushed furiously and turned away.

“You looked really handsome too,” she said quietly but he heard her and grabbed her hand. She turned around and he kissed her hand softly, making her blush more.

Kagome's mom came in and saw everybody, “Oh! You guys look so lovely!”

“Thanks Ms Higurashi!” Everybody chimed in.

“Thanks mom,” Kagome said after and smiled.

“Well if you guys need anything I'll be in the kitchen.” Kagome's mom said with a smile and waved goodbye as she went to the kitchen.

Inuyasha and Kagome and everybody else got dressed in their regular clothes to go out for lunch. Kagome had forgotten about her run in with Kikyo and Naraku but the memory was fresh in Inuyasha's head. What did he mean by, “You also must not know what kind of girl Kagome is.” Did Kagome have a secret?

“Inuyasha?” Kagome touched his shoulder. Inuyasha shook his head to toss himself out of his thoughts.

“What?” He said.

“You haven't touched you pizza, are you ok?” Kagome asked.

“Yeah, I was just day dreaming, sorry.” He said and picked up his pizza and took a big bite. Kagome smiled and took a bite of her own pizza.

“I'm so excided about prom! I never had a date or friends to go to one before!” Ayame said and Koga put his arm around her.

“I'm nervous! I don't want anything bad to happen that will ruin it!” Sango said and twisted her hands in her lap.

“I'm sure everything will be fine Sweetheart,” Miroku said and moved his hand to her butt but she gabbed his hand before he could do anything.

“Oh god Miroku! Your such a pig!” Sango said angry.

“That's why you love me!” Miroku smirked and kissed Sango's cheek. Sango's face softened and she giggled.

Kagome's heart warmed while she watched them. Sango had changed since she started dating Miroku. She's softer now, but only Kagome and Miroku can calm her down when she gets angry. Though Miroku causes some of that anger Kagome has no doubt in her mind that nobody loves Sango more than Miroku.

Kagome smiled and hugged Inuyasha tightly and he hugged her tighter. Inuyasha kissed the top of her head; even if Kagome were hiding something from me she would tell me when she was ready. Inuyasha thought and gave her another squeeze.

“Aw isn't this cute!” Kikyo voice said. Everybody groaned and turned to see Kikyo coming with Naraku.

“Stay clam everyone,” Inuyasha hissed.

“Your one to talk!” Miroku and Koga hissed back.

“Look Baby my new friend is here with the gang!” Naraku said to Kikyo who was hanging on his arm.

“What do you want?” Inuyasha asked as he stood up.

“Just wanted to say Hi to you and everybody, is that a problem?” Naraku said in a cocky voice.

Inuyasha rolled his eyes, “Well, hi!” He said in a perky voice, “Bye!” he said and sat down again.

Kikyo spotted Kagome, “Hey Kagome, did you buy that awful dress we fought over?” Kikyo asked with an evil look.

Kagome smiled, “Actually no, I got a better dress. Your dress did look a little small for you though, does it fit?” Kagome smiled as she asked.

Kikyo glared at her then smiled too, “Yes it does thanks for asking, are you going to do something awful with your hair?” Kikyo said loudly and smirked.

“Are you going to file down your fangs?”

“Are you going to take off your halo?”

“I bet your going to freak dance with every guy at the prom!”

“I bet your date wont even dance with you!”

“I bet you'll be the biggest slut at the dance!”

“I bet…”

“Shut up!” Sango yelled over them.

“Thank you!” Ayame said.

“Say good bye to your friends Honey, were late.” Naraku said looking at his watch.

Kikyo took a deep breath and glared a Kagome, “See you at the dance Bitch!” Kikyo said and started walking away.

“Try not to be drunk Hoe!” Kagome said after her.

Kagome crossed her arms and Inuyasha sighed. “Watching you two fight is entertaining yet exhausting.” Miroku said and slumped in his chair.

“Kagome has gotten good at taking care of her self,” Koga said and took a sip of his soda.

“I hope you'll still need me.” Inuyasha joked and Kagome smiled and kissed his lips.

“At least she's not after you anymore,” Kagome said. “I think,”
