3 Days Before Prom:

Sango was quaking in her sneakers. She once got to a point where she thought she'd go insane with impatience. Sango looked at the date on her Cell Phone.

“Can't the days go any faster?” Sango cried dramatically and dropped her head down on the table. Miroku came behind her and rubber her shoulders.

“It's gonna be fine Baby, it will all be worth it.” Miroku calmed her.

Sango quickly lifted her head, which startled Miroku, “I'm going to call Kagome!” She said suddenly. But before she could dial the number the phone rang. “Hello?” Sango asked. “Oh hey Kagome!”

Miroku chuckled to himself and left Sango to talk to her friend. He spotted Kohaku with his Cell Phone texting someone on the couch. Miroku jumped over the couch and sat next to Kohaku. Kohaku wasn't startled but simply sent the message and quickly closed his phone.

“What?” Kohaku asked.

“What you doing?” Miroku asked in an annoying voice.

“Texting Shiori,” Kohaku answer then lifted an eyebrow at Miroku, “Why do you ask?”

“No reason,” Miroku said and laid his head back. “So, things are going well between you two?”

Kohaku blushed, “Yea she's my girlfriend now,” Kohaku said.

On Miroku's face appeared a huge smiled. He gabbed Kohaku by the head and messed his hair. “That's my boy! He's a player!” Miroku yelled while Kohaku struggled for breath and freedom.

Kohaku's phone rang and Miroku let go of Kohaku who leaped at the phone. “I'm busy now, leave!” Kohaku commanded.

Miroku laughed and left to see how Sango was doing. Sango was sitting at the table with a cup of coffee. She looked at Miroku and smiled, “You doing ok now?” Miroku asked.

“Yea, Kagome told me to get a grip and have a cup of coffee.” Sango took a sip of her coffee.

Miroku smiled and kissed the top of her head. Sango looked up at him and he kissed her softly on the lips.

Kagome was heading out the door, “Bye mom!” Kagome yelled.

“Ok be back before dinner!” Kagome's mom yelled back.

Kagome walked out to Inuyasha's awaiting car, Kim waved from the back. Kim was the girl from Kohaku's party that confessed her love to Inuyasha.

“I love you Inuyasha!!!” The girl sobbed, “Kagome isn't good enough for you! Your wasting your time with a person like her!” The girl fell to her knees.

Inuyasha put his hands in his pockets and walked up to her, “Look? I don't know what your problem is.” Inuyasha reached her; her face was in her hands. “I don't even know you, and if I don't know you, you cant possibly know me. How can you love someone you don't know?”

The girl lifted her face, it was tear stained but the girl had short red hair and a lot of freckles. “I do know you! Your perfect! And I know I'm perfect for you!” The girl explained.

Inuyasha and Kagome had talked with Kim and she found that she wasn't really in love with Inuyasha. Kim was now just Inuyasha's friend and attached to his hip. Shess and Rin were in the car too, Kagome was happy to see Rin after so long.

“Kagome!” Kim and Rin yelled and waved.

“Hey, Kimmy, Rin, where we going today?” Kagome hugged them.

“Inuyasha said that we're going to the carnival.” Kim said and Rin nodded.

Kagome got in the car and kissed Inuyasha and put on her seat belt. “I was just on the phone with Sango, Miroku and her are bored to death at her house.” Kagome explained.

“Great, we can go together,” Inuyasha said as her drove away.

Kagome looked back and Shess was looking at her, “Hey Kagome,” Shess said, “Rin heard Inuyasha telling this girl here about the carnival and she wanted to come.”

Kagome smiled and nodded. Inuyasha put his arm around Kagome and Inuyasha saw in his rear view mirror, the fire in Shess's eyes. Rin pulled on her father's sleeve and he looked down and gave her a fake smile. But Rin wasn't buying it, “Whats wrong?”

Shess tried to act shocked, “What? Nothings wrong Honey,” Shess reassured her.

Rin still looked worried, “Are you mad that Uncle Inuyasha is in love with Kagome?”

Shess looked at Inuyasha and Kagome, Kagome kept smiling at him and he kissed her forehead, No doubt they're in love but Kagome doesn't have a clue what else is out there. I'm determined to show her today. Shess Shook his head at Rin and pulled her closer to him. Kim looked at Shess in the corner of her eye and frowned.

Kagome and Sango were like children with Rin and Kim. They instead on going on all the rides and buy cotton candy. Shess, Miroku, and Inuyasha just smiled and followed in pursuit of there fun. When Inuyasha got a hold of Kagome he put his arm around her before she could skip away. Soon they came to a roller coaster, Inuyasha and Miroku got on and Kim, Rin, and Sango want to the bathroom. Kagome stayed by the roller coaster with Shess to take pictures of Inuyasha and Miroku on the ride. Kagome smiled and Waved at Inuyasha while he was getting in the ride.

Shess looked at Kagome, Now's my chance; I'm going to do it now.

“He's such an immature loser.” Shess commented coldly. Kagome looked at him confused. “He's the kind of guy that will never get a job and become a dumb bum.”

Kagome shook her head, “I see a lot of glory in Inuyasha, he'll do great things one day,” Kagome said her eyes cold.

“But that's it Kagome!” Shess cried out and grabbed her shoulders. “He'll great things ONE day. When will that day come?” Shess said and made her look at him, “Why do you go for a dead end when you have a path of greatness right in front of you?”

Kagome looked shocked, “Sesshomaru?” Kagome breathed.

“I could do so much for you! I can give you things Inuyasha will never be able to!” Shess pulled her into and tight embrace.

Kagome tried to push him away but he pulled her in tighter. “Stop!” Kagome tried to say but his chest covered her mouth.

“I love you Kagome! And I know you can love me!” Shess loosened his grip on her and moved his face closer to her.

“Shess! Stop!” Kagome yelled but he was inches away from her face. “Stop!” Kagome yelled louder.

A hand grabbed Sesshomaru by the shoulder and threw him a good 6 feet. Kagome fell to her knees breathing hard. She looked up and standing there was Inuyasha. He picked her up and put her on her feet. “Inuyasha,” Kagome finally said and he hugged her tightly. Shess was finally gaining concisions and lifted his head slowly. By now a crowed was gathered around. Shess wiped his bleeding nose with his sleeve and looked around for the man that attacked him.

“Inuyasha you Foolish Idiot!” Shess yelled at him. Inuyasha let go of Kagome and looked coldly at his brother.

Miroku stood next to Inuyasha and Kagome, his arms crossed. “How dare you take advantage of Kagome like that!” Miroku said angry. “You realize you could go to jail for sexual harassment of a minor!”

Shess looked at the ground then at Kagome, Kagome clung to Inuyasha's arm. “You're my brother!” Inuyasha whispered. “You're my brother!” he yelled. “Brother's don't do this to each other!”

Kagome looked at Inuyasha his hair was moving but there was no wind, his hands opened to revel claws, his voice became scratchy. “Inuyasha?” Kagome gasped.

“Out of my way!” Sango's voice yelled from the crowed. Sango was holding Rin's hand pushing through the crowed. Kim was following her. Sango saw Kagome and her friends in the middle of the crowd. Shess was on the floor trying to get his nose to stop bleeding.

Rin tightened her grip on Sango's hand, “Daddy, what did you do?” Rin asked sadly, her hair covering her eyes.

Shess looked at her, “Honey!” Inuyasha snapped out of his trance and looked at Shess and Rin, “I didn't do anything! It was Uncle Inuyasha!” Shess crawled to his daughter and tried to touch her but she coldly pulled away.

Sango ran to Kagome, Miroku, and Inuyasha with Kim behind her, Rin looked at her father then turned to follow too. “What happened?” Sango asked Miroku.

“We were on the ride when we heard Kagome yelling, Inuyasha recklessly jumped off the ride while it was still moving. Shess was trying to kiss Kagome.” Sango gasped and coved her mouth.

“Sick pervert!” Someone yelled from the crowed. Then people started yelling and screaming things at Shess. Shess hung his head down, embarrassed.

Kagome couldn't help but feel sorry for him, “Please stop.” Kagome said loud enough for the crowd to here. Soon everyone was quiet, Kagome walked toward Shess, “He doesn't disserve this, he thought he was in love. A lot of use are living proof love makes you do crazy things.” Kagome smiled and helped Shess to his feet. Inuyasha was warmed and a smile also slipped on his lips. “I admit I don't love Shess but I respect him too much to let him be disrespected.” Kagome said. Shess gave her small smile.

But soon the police arrived and picked up Shess. Kagome was allowed to go home, since she dropped the charges she didn't have to go in for questioning. Rin was told to go with Inuyasha's parents until her mom came. Shess called to Rin from the cop car, “Rin! Sweetheart! Don't let them take Daddy away! Rin! Honey! Rin!” Shess screamed. But Rin didn't say a word to her Father while he was getting taken away. Kagome put her hand on Rin's shoulder but she didn't say or do anything.

Kagome stayed with Rin until her mom came. Inuyasha's parents tried to apologize for Shess's actions. “Kagome we are so sorry, we had no idea he would do such a thing!” Inuyasha's Mom said.

“It's really okay, I'm fine,” Kagome said. Inuyasha was also clearly affected, for the rest of the night he didn't let Kagome out of his sight. Whenever he could he held her close. Kagome had called her mom and told her not to worry. But she did worry; she was very worried. Kagome was combing Rin's long raven hair when Rin's mom came. Rin's Mom was very clean cut and had her hair in a neat bun. She was wearing a blazer and a matching skirt.

“Hello Rin,” Rin's Mom greeted everybody, Inuyasha's parents weren't very happy to see her. “Kagome, I'm very sorry for Rin's Father's actions.” She said. Rin's Mom had no emotion in her eyes but looked very young.

“Um, if you don't mind me asking, how old are you?” Kagome asked in curiosity.

“I'm 19.” Rin's Mom said sadly, “And yes, Sesshomaru got me pregnant at 16.” Rin's Mom looked Kagome in her eyes, “ When I heard about what happened I felt very sad toward you, but happy that you refused to give into him.” Rin's Mom explained, “ You see, I was seduced by Sesshomaru at a young age, I thought I was in love but the moment I he found out I was pregnant he left.” Rin touched her Mom's hand lightly.

Inuyasha's Mom sobbed, “Oh Yuki! I'm so sorry! We didn't know!” Inuyasha Mom cried and pulled Rin's Mom (Yuki) Into a hug.
