I go on a vacation with my family to Tokyo,Japan. I am a Huge fan of Inuyasha and when I find out that there really is a family called the Higurashi's that own the Bone-Eaters-Well, I get totally excited.So at the first chance that I get I jump in.On the way I get turned into a hanyou because of a jacked up laptop program and I am in the samari age.My family leaves me, Kagome hates me, and I am havinng feelings that I have never had before. So...Now what?

What happened in our last chapter: I had gone on vacation with my family. I had set up a time to take a tour of the bone eaters well. I had met the Higurashi family and got the tour of the god tree and the well. When I finally had time alone at the well, I jumped in. so I'm 500 years into the past! Now I hang out with Inuyasha and the gang. Ohh and now I are a hanyou because the computer program in my laptop messed up in the time travel. What a bummer. Anyway Inuyasha and I had a little talk in a secret cave that he showed me but what happens when someone listens in our conversation and becomes jealous? Well read and find out. Ohh and just so you know, there is a little joke in the chapter. If you don't get it then shame on you if you don't tell me and I will explain. So read and review. Read and review, read and review! Chapter 2 Let's Get This Over With, a Jealous Friend, and Bath Time

We ate breakfast and packed our things together. Kilara turned into her larger more powerful form so Sango and Miroku would be able to keep up with Inuyasha and me. Kagome, of course, rode on Inuyasha's back. But Shippo hung out with me. He sat on my shoulder using his tiny paws to grasp on to my neck.

Ten minutes later we were at Kaede's hut. "Kaede are you in?" Kagome asked sticking her head into the doorway. "Yes child, ye are lucky to have caught me before I left. I need to go to a near by village to help some very sick children. Would ye like to help?" Kaede sounded very old and looked it as well. "I'll have to check with the others first, but I would love to help you." Kagome motioned for the rest of us to come inside the hut. "It seems ye have a new companion. She is just like Inuyasha, great things may come from this. Great things." Kaede was staring deep into my gold-amber eyes. "What is ye name child?" "My name is Katharina Luise Maldonado, but I like it when people call me Kat." I said still keeping eye contact.

"Interesting, a dog demon called Kat. Still, l see great things can come from ye and Inuyasha." At words "Great Things" a really perverted thought came into my head and wouldn't leave. It must have happened to Inuyasha too, because at the same time we turned of heads and looked at each other and broke out laughing.

Miroku and Sango tried to stop themselves from laughing, but they couldn't hold it in. Soon everyone in the room was laughing except for Kaede and Kagome. "Kaede, I think I will help you with the children." Kagome said scowling at her friends. The two ladies got up and walked out of the hut without a backwards glance.

I was crying now, that 's how hard I was laughing. "I.... I think we took that all the wrong way." I said between giggles. "Yeah, I think your right." Inuyasha said. But then, Shippo had to say something. If the way Kaede said that, was the way I think it's supposed to be, then I think she is right. Inuyasha and Kat would be nice mates and could have pups for me to play with." Shippo said with a smile. "Yay! New pups to play with. New pups to play with." The small Kitsune began to chant. At this Sango and Miroku burst out laughing again. But Inuyasha and I were thinking the same thing. I was sure of it. We did make a cute couple and I wouldn't' mind him being my mate and having pups for him. But I was still convinced that he loved Kagome because we had only met yesterday.

Kagome's POV

' I can't believe that! I know that last night it was wrong to follow them, but now this!? I can't believe my luck.

~*~*~*~*~Flashback~*~*~*~*~*

"How do you like being a hanyou?" Inuyasha asked with a hint of sadness in his voice. "The truth is, I love it. I love being able to run fast and being strong and jumping high it's fantastic. Why?" Kat asked, "Because I hate it. You have lived as a human for so long that you don't know what it is like to be a mutt. When I was small the other kids would throw rocks at me and the parents would sit there and encourage it, sometimes even join in."

"Inuyasha I know your story. But that was the past. I know that the past still hurts a lot but sometimes you just need to move on. I mean look at you now. You have great friends who care about you and they don't care if you're a full-blooded demon or not. As long as you be yourself, you will be fine."

"You are right. I just need to stop feeling sorry for myself and move on." Inuyasha said. "Kat, I have another question for you. What do you really think about me?" There was a moment of silence before she gave the answer. I think she was contemplating if she should tell him a lie or the truth.

"Inuyasha I think you are wonderful and I also think you and Kagome would make a happy couple. In reality, Kagome loves you but she is afraid to tell you because she thinks you are in still love with Kikyo. And we all know that you love her too. So was that the answer you wanted to hear?" I was happy Kat gave that answer. I really did love Inuyasha but wasn't sure if he felt the same. "Do you really think that I am wonderful?" Inuyasha asked, "Yes I do. I mean look at you. You are hansom, strong, and very kind what girl wouldn't want you?" I could tell Kat was enjoying herself.

"We should be heading back now." Kat said, "Yeah you're right. I'm glad we could talk even though we just met today. I could never talk like this to anyone else." That was the phrase that broke my heart. Inuyasha knew he could come to me about anything. But no! He rather talk to some girl that he just met that day.

"I'm glad you are willing to talk without me having to pry it out of you. And I am sorry for making you jealous earlier with Kouga." Now it would come Inuyasha would kick her ass for saying that. "I was not jealous of the wolf. " Nothing damn. "OK since you're not jealous then you wouldn't mind if I ask Kouga to be my mate now would you." I heard Inuyasha growl from the outside of the cave.

"As a matter of fact I do mind. You of all people deserve better." I bet Inuyasha meant himself. "Ohh yes you are right. I should ask Miroku instead." I couldn't stand it any more, I ran. I didn't want to hear this. I was about to cry so hard but I just moved on. I knew the scent of tears would attract the two Hanyous with their great sense of smell.

"Kaede, what did you mean by they could do great things together?" I asked cautiously wanting the right answer. "I meant exactly what I said. They will be able to do great things together, being Hanyous and all. Ye are getting worked up for nothing. Kat seems like a great influence for the lad. But then again, they might get close to each other because they are one and the same. Why do ye want to know?" "You know that I love Inuyasha. I don't want some outsider that we just met yesterday to ruin what took so long to build." I was angry that even Keade was liking Kat and not feeling like meat all.

"Well Kagome, ye have only so much control over Inuyasha. If he likes this new comer then that is what he likes. But maybe since he hasn't met another hanyou before he wants to spend some more time with her." Kaede gave me a knowing look. "This is her very first day being a hanyou though! How can Inuyasha want to spend more time with a person who is nothing like him at all?" I was becoming very angry with the older women. "Now Kagome, are you sure that the girl is nothing like him? Ye yourself said that ye had all just met yesterday. I want you to think about this while we are working." She gave me an end of conversation look.

"Let's get this over with." I mumbled quietly.

Back To Kat In Kaede's Hut.

"So Inuyasha when are we gonna start training?" I was anxious but tried not to show it. "We can start right now if you want." Inuyasha said with a smile.

' Gosh he is hot when he smiles. I wonder if there is any chance of us getting together. Hmmm I wonder if I ever get to see Sesshomaru. That would be nice. Maybe I could find out why they have such a problem with each other. Yeah, that would be cool.'

"Sounds good. Where are we going to train at?" I asked hoping it would be somewhere secluded from everyone else's watching eyes. I imagined myself throughing punches and completely missing my target. I smacked the palm of my hand against my forehead. "Is there something wrong?" Inuyasha asked concern in his eyes. "No just.....Ahh thinking to hard. It helps me think better when I smack my hand on my forehead." "Ok, anyways lets get this over with for the day."

' That was such a lame excuse! I can't believe he bought it! He's either really stupid or just didn't want to know what I was thinking about.' I mentally slapped myself for thinking such stupid thoughts. ' I must have some mental problems or something. I'm just glad I'm not hanging all over Miroku or Inuyasha. I'm even a little proud of myself for standing up to Kouga. Why are there so many hot guys here?'

Inuyasha stopped so abruptly while I was in my thoughts that I ran into his backside causing myself to lose balance and topple over. "Here we are, the perfect training grounds." Inuyasha said happily as he extended a hand to help me up. I graciously took the extended hand and looked around at my surroundings. From what I could tell we were on top of a small hill looking over the village. There was a single tree in the center of the hill that looked very old and worn.

"This is where we are going to train at?" I asked looking off into the distant forest. "Yup. Do you have a problem with it?" Inuyasha asked looking into the forest also. "Nope." Was all I had to say before Inuyasha threw a punch at me. I quickly ducked it and jumped into the tree. "Hey! What was that for?" I called down to hanyou. Inuyasha jumped up to the branch next to me. "This is your training." Was all he said before he lunged at me. Again I dodged it and this time tried to hit him in the gut. He back flipped away from the effortless punch and laughed.

"Try a little harder." "You're amused aren't you Inuyasha?" "You damn bet I am!" For the next hour Inuyasha taught me the basics. Then I learned harder maneuvers and complicacies battle tactics. A little later into the training, Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and Kilara came up the hill. They sat underneath the tree and watched closely. "Have you had enough yet?" Inuyasha challenged. "Hey 'ol no." I said in return. I was hot and sweaty, but I wouldn't give up. Finally Inuyasha struck me hard in the stomach. I lost my breath and fell to the ground.

"Are you OK.? Sango called out from the tree. I quickly got up. "I'm fine!" I called out hoarsely. "Well I guess we are done for the night." Inuyasha said looking just as hot and sweaty as I was. Maybe even more because he was male. Just then Kagome came up the hill. "Hey what are you all doing?" Kagome allured while waving frantically for us all to notice her.

"Nothing, I'm just beating the shit out of Kat here." Inuyasha told Kagome. "You are not!" I whined. "You got one lucky shot and that was all." Kagome went and sat down with the others. "Inuyasha lets keep fighting. I'm not going to stop until I got you down for the count." I didn't want Inuyasha to think I was weak. So for the next few attacks I gave it my all. I caught Inuyasha off guard a few times by putting forth amazing speed and agility.

"I will not lose to you Inuyasha. I refuse to lose!" I yelled at him. Inuyasha attacked. I front flipped behind him and counterattacked. Inuyasha was finally down for the count just like I said he would be. "Wow. I never saw anyone bring Inuyasha down like that." Shippo said with awe. "I'm glad she is on our side and not a bad guy." "Right, she is a bad guy for taking Inuyasha away from me." Kagome whispered very quietly. I had to strain my ears to hear it. I knew Inuyasha had heard it too. He looked at Kagome hurt in his eyes.

Inuyasha looked at me and with the same hurt look, got up, and left for a hot spring down in the forest. Kagome apparently hadn't thought that we had heard. "Come on Shippo time for bed." Kagome picked Shippo up from his perch on Miroku's shoulder and headed down the other side of the hill. "Miroku, will you stay here for a moment please?" "Sure Kat. Sango you can go ahead down to the hut without me. I will be right there." Sango nodded and traveled down the hill with Kilara in her arms and followed Kagome and Shippo.

"So Kat what did you want to talk about? Have you finally given in to my charm?" He smiled. I didn't return the smile but sat down on the ground with a *thump*. Miroku sat down next to me. "No Miroku, not yet." I stared at my feet. "Do you think Kagome hates me already?" I could feel Miroku's eyes on me. He took my chin in his hand and made me look into his deep violet eyes. "Of course Kagome doesn't hate you. What ever made you think that?" I wondered if Miroku heard the comment that Kagome had said. "When Shippo commented on how fast I took Inuyasha out and how he was glad I was a good guy and not a bad guy, Kagome whispered that I was a bad person for taking her Inuyasha away. I don't want her to hate me. And it's not like Inuyasha is hers or the other way around because Inuyasha would have marked her. Right?"

"I think you should ask Kagome about how she feels and maybe even Inuyasha." Miroku said as he stood up. "If you insist. Ohh and Miroku." "Yes Kat?" "We can start your training tonight as soon as I take a bath alright." "Sounds good." Miroku started down the hill toward Kaede's hut.

Inuyasha's POV

' I can't believe Kagome would say something like that. I don't belong to her. And it's not my fault I am happy being with Kat. Is Kagome trying to stop that? No, she wouldn't be like that. I wonder if Kat has the same feelings for me as I do for her. Why the hell does that question keep popping up in my mind?'

I traveled down to the nearest hot spring. All that was on my mind was the issue with Kat and Kagome.

' Kat is a good fighter for her first time. If she keeps this up I may actually start to lose. I wonder if I should take her to Totousi for a sword so that she can fight with a weapon. I'll do that next week so we can get some more practice in.'

I had found the spring that I was searching for with my nose. I quickly undressed and sunk into the hot, soothing water. "I wish one of these days Kat will give me permission to bathe with her." I said quietly with a chuckle. Then I heard it. It was a rustling in the branches. I sniffed the air. Nothing.

Back To Kat On The Hill

"I really need to take a bath." l said sticking out my tongue. "I don't know where the nearest spring is though. Maybe if I sniff out water I'll find it." I sniffed the air. "There, I found it." For the next couple minutes I followed my nose to the scent of water. It was really really close. Then I smelt him, Inuyasha.

'Ohh no! What if he smells me. He will think that I am spying on him. Then he'll get angry with me. I don't want that to happen! I can either go in there and confront him or I can go and find another spring. Is he talking to himself?'

I listened closely. 'Why the hell is he talking to himself for?'

"I wish one of these days Kat will give me permission to bathe with her." Inuyasha said quietly with a chuckle. I rustled the leaves a little. "Ohh no did he hear me?" I whispered so quietly it was almost a thought. I decided that I should step out of the bushes and give Inuyasha the permission that he wanted. "Inuyasha I give you permission." I said seductively while I walked out from behind the brush. Inuyasha looked at me with surprised eyes. "I.... I didn't know you were there." Inuyasha said not stopping the eye contact that we had established. "And what did you say?" He tilted his head like a confused puppy. "I gave you permission. You said that you wished one of these days I would give you permission to bathe with me. Did I grant your wish Inuyasha?" I said my words smoothly as I bent down to his eye-level.

"Did I grant your wish?" I whispered into his ear. I stood up and swiftly took of my clothes. I discarded them on the ground and walked into the water. Inuyasha just sat there open mouthed. I waded toward him still never breaking eye contact. "How did I do in my training today?" Inuyasha swallowed. "You did great. Next week I was going to take you to Totousi to get a sword." "Will it be like the Tetsusaiga?" Inuyasha looked at me thoughtfully and shrugged.

I sat down in Inuyasha's lap. He swallowed again. I began to stroke his hair. "Inuyasha?" "Yes Kat?" "What are your feelings toward me? I know we have only known each other for a short amount of time, but I still want to know." "I don't trust my feelings at the moment." My ears drooped a little but perked back up when Inuyasha wrapped his arms around my naked form. He nuzzled my hair and took in my scent.

"By any chance did you here what Kagome said?" Inuyasha asked frowning. "Unfortunately I did. I don't think she meant anything by it. She was jealous kinda like you where with Kouga." I yelped as Inuyasha nipped my left ear. "What was that for?" For saying that I was jealous, because I wasn't. The only thing I was, was proud. I was proud how you stood up for me. Kagome never did that. As a matter of fact, no ones ever stood up to Kouga." Inuyasha smiled. "Well it was a pleasure." I smiled as Inuyasha playfully nipped my ear once again.

Inuyasha rubbed little circles on the small of my back as I nuzzled closely to his chest. "Inuyasha." "Yes?" "I wish this moment could last forever." "Me too.... Me too."

When we were finally done cuddling, Inuyasha and I washed our clothes and took another "individual" bath so Shippo wouldn't recognize our scents on each other. Then we walked toward the village hand in hand. When we reached the hut we released hands and walked in. Inuyasha went straight to the corner to sleep and I walked to Miroku to go through with our lesson.

"Let's get this over with." We headed together to the place where I trained with Inuyasha on the hill. "Alright Miroku, what exactly are you having problems with?" I was ready for the worst, but the worst was yet to come. "I have problems with groping. It's like my hand has a mind of it's own." "Well, that problem can be easily solved. First we'll start with seeing how bad the problem is." I found a stick on the ground, and very slooooowly bent over in front of Miroku to see what his reaction would be.

It didn't take long until his calloused hand was all over my behind. I tried hard to fight the urge to slap the perverted monk. "So the problem is that bad. How do you feel about Sango and what were some of your attempts to get her?" Miroku sat down and thought for a moment. "I...I love Sango very much but whenever I am around her, I just get nervous. And I have a feeling deep in my mind that says to impress her. Some of my attempts were to grope and ask all the women I met if they would bare my children. I only said this to make her jealous, but then she would be happy because with that lame phrase I always got slapped. So I kept up with it to make her happy. What should I do?"

I pondered what the solution could be. "If we start now we could get rid of the groping problem. As for your attempts, they failed miserably. Here is what your new plan will be. You will have to stop some of the perverted thoughts that cross your mind. Some not all." I winked at him and graced him with one of my best smiles. "Then you need to completely stop saying that lame phrase to anyone ever again unless you truly mean it." Miroku opened his mouth like he was about to say something. I shook my head and continued on. "After that, you have to stop groping but we will work on that. Now, you do realize that Sango is not just any other girl that you met in the past." Miroku nodded hanging onto my every word like he was taking mental notes. "Sango is a dignified young lady and has high standards for herself and others. Your goal is to make it up to her standards."

I thought some more. "Do you have any ideas on how to do so?" Miroku thought about it and shook his head no. "Then we have to set some boundaries and rules for you to follow." Miroku nodded. "First, no watching us bathe. Two, try not to grope anyone. If you do and I catch you then our sessions are over. Third, no more listening to Inuyasha's perverted ideas either. Do you understand?" Miroku nodded. "So what are the rules and boundaries?" I wanted to know if he was listening at all.

"No watching you bathe, Try not to grope, No more Inuyasha's perverted ideas." Miroku said with and ease that only a monk could have. "Good lets go to bed. And Miroku let's keep this a secret, Ok?" Miroku nodded and we walked down the hill together and entered the hut for the night. When I went to sleep Inuyasha was still in his corner. Three and a half hours later I awoke to find Inuyasha gone from the hut. He was close I could smell it. He was probably on the roof of the hut. I walked out of the hut and jumped on the roof. And there staring at the stars above was Inuyasha.

I sat next to him and looked up at the stars. "What are you looking at?" I watched his emotionless face for a moment before I gazed at my hands. "The stars." Was the only answer that I got from him? Then a most unexpected question popped up. "What were you doing with Miroku?" I gazed at the stars a little longer before answering his question. "I can't tell you. Not yet anyway." Inuyasha's and my eyes locked for a moment before he gazed at his feet. "Do you love him?" "Him as in Miroku. If that's the case then no. I'm...helping him with a problem that he has." "And you can't tell me what that is right." I nodded my head. "Kat, let's promise not to keep secrets from each other." I grabbed Inuyasha by the chin and make him look into my face. "Inuyasha, there are some secrets that I am not ready to share yet. I will tell you them but not until there is the right time and place. For now I can only wait."

Inuyasha's fuzzy ears drooped in sadness. I felt bad but there where just some things that I wasn't ready to tell him. "Inuyasha, you have to understand that I'm just not ready yet." I tried to muster a small smile, but I just couldn't. "I'll make you a deal. In exactly one week I will tell you." Inuyasha's eyes brightened. "Everything?" "Yes, everything." Inuyasha smiled. It made me happy to see him happy.

"Kat, in three days we are leaving to see Totousi. So I suggest that you keep training. This afternoon you will be fighting Sango, then the next day, Miroku. Then you will have to beat Kagome." "That sounds easy enough." I said with a smile. So that 's how it went. In the morning I had off and I could do whatever pleased me, but then I had training in the afternoon, and then at night back with Miroku. It became a routine. Then came the faithful day when I had to face Kagome.
