I go on a vacation with my family to Tokyo,Japan. I am a Huge fan of Inuyasha and when I find out that there really is a family called the Higurashi's that own the Bone-Eaters-Well, I get totally excited.So at the first chance that I get I jump in.On the way I get turned into a hanyou because of a jacked up laptop program and I am in the samari age.My family leaves me, Kagome hates me, and I am havinng feelings that I have never had before. So...Now what?

What happened in our last chapter: Inuyasha and I had left to see the sword-smith Totousi so I could get my cool sword to fight with. But before that, I had to fight Kagome and she almost beat me, noticed how I said almost, in the end I kicked her butt all over the place. So Inuyasha and I were traveling through the forest and I need to take a bath, so I find a spring to relax in. Then out of nowhere, Kouga's brother, Teranchi demands that I be his mate!! What is he some kind of weirdo? Inuyasha comes they talk so now the wolf is coming with us to Totousi's home. When we finally get there I get a tooth yanked out of my mouth and I listen in to a conversation. What's this whole thing with soul mates? I haven't seen tails end of Sesshomaru in my travels with Inuyasha and now he has plans for me. So.... Now what?

Chapter 4 A New Sword And Some Kidnapping

I had this strange feeling in my stomach that told me to go to the Bone Eaters Well. So that is what I did. I kept myself hidden in the trees waiting to see what would happen. I didn't have to wait long because a female hanyou came out of the well. I watched intently as my brother confronted this half-breed and had an urge to find out who she was. I followed them for the past couple days only returning home to check on Rin and to make sure Janken didn't mess anything up.

I watched my brother teach the girl to fight and then bathe with her when they were finished with the session. When I watched them bathe together I had an urge to kill. Then she would teach to perverted monk to control his actions. When they finally left to see Totousi, I followed. Again, she bathed and I watched from a distance. Then a wolf demon walked in on her. I wanted to teach him a lesson but decided against it to see what would happen. Of course she called out for the low life brother of mine.

The wolf traveled with the two Hanyous and I could tell that he needed a mate. I made a mental note to kill him if he even thought about taking this girl for his own. When they finally reached Totousi's home I watched and waited outside. My brother saw me during the night, but did nothing about it.

Since there were no trees on the volcano I stayed awake outside and became truly interested in the girl when she transformed the Tetsusaiga. I needed to have her.

Back To Kat

I had awoken that morning to find that same scent of Inuyasha lingering around. I finally decided to check it out. I walked outside of the cave and sniffed the air. More sulfur. I winced and looked over my surroundings once more. As the memories came back from last night I wondered if I really was Inuyasha's soul ate. And if so, what was I going to do about it? I walked back inside and rummaged through the left over meat that we still had from the buck. I went over to the fire and cooked the meat to perfection. I felt the aura of the room change as the boys awoke to the smell of food.

"What smells so good?" asked Teranchi lifting his nose to the smell of food. "Breakfast." I said with a smile. Inuyasha got up and walked over to where I was standing. "Mmmmm, we never had a breakfast like this when Kagome was around." I smiled at him and wrinkled my nose playfully. Totousi came out of a back room that I didn't notice before and sat down. "Food!!" he said smiling and licking his lips.

I set the meat down in front of them on a large leaf that I had brought with from the forest. "Dig in." The men eagerly ate the food. I ate a little but I really wasn't that hungry. When they were finished all that was left were some bones and little pieces of fat. I grabbed the leaf and headed outside. "Where are you going?" asked Inuyasha "To take a bath." I replied hastily. "Can I come?" asked both Teranchi and Inuyasha in unison.

Totousi shook his head and went back to the back room that he had come out of before. I shook my head no and traveled off to find the nearest spring. It didn't take long until I found one tucked deep inside of the volcano. I quickly undressed and slipped into other warm water. I closed my eyes and sunk into a little deeper into the refreshing water. I sighed deeply and opened my eyes.

I had this strange feeling that someone or something was watching me. I turned around. Nothing. "Ohh well. It must be my imagination." I got out of the water and looked down at my feet. Blood. "Great," I mumbled to myself. "It's that time of month again." I sighed and got back into the water to clean myself again.

I knew that Inuyasha, Teranchi, and Totousi would know that I was in heat. I also knew that male wolves and dogs didn't do to good in these type of situations and that they had an urge to mate with female. "This is going to be an interesting week." I mumbled to myself. I got dresses and walked back to the cave.

I entered slowly, not wanting too disturbed to peaceful aura of the room. I walked over to the corner that I slept in before and closed my eyes to think about what had been going on in the past week or so.

Inuyasha's POV

I watched her return from the bath. I wanted to follow her but the wolf wouldn't keep his gaze off of me. I sniffed the air. Ohh no, she was in heat. Now my instincts to claim her would be overwhelming. I remembered when Kagome or Sango where in heat. I would keep my distance from them or if I had to be near them I would force myself to behave.

' I wonder how the wolf will react to her. If he lays one finger on her I will kick his ass all over this place. Maybe I should tell Kat to make me stay if I try to claim her. Nahh, she would probably think that I was crazy. What should I do?'

I was brought out of my daze as I watched the wolf head over to Kat. I growled as he sat down next to her. But I knew if I did something I would get in trouble. I wasn't like she was mine. Right? Right.

I could here to different voices in my head. One was saying " Claim her, Claim her, you know you want to." and the other voice was saying " What about Kagome? You promised that you would come back to her." Then the other voice said. " Of course we will come back to her. But we didn't promises that we wouldn't come back mated." The second voice said nothing. I guess the first voice won. But then. "But you love Kagome and you know it!!! Just because you met a girl that is like you in a lot of ways doesn't mean that you should give up on Kagome" The score was tied 1-1. I shook my head to get rid of the voices and gazed at the near by wall. Then I saw the wolf take Kat's hand. I growled deep in my throat and snapped at him

Teranchi's POV

I watched Kat return from her bathe and sniffed the air. She was in heat. Now was my chance to claim her. I walked over to her and sat down I heard the dog boy growl a warning growl like he owned her. I was going to convince Kat that I was better for her then that dog. Wolves run supreme over dogs.

"Hey, do you want to go for a walk?" I asked hoping that she would say yes. "I don't know? I want to talk to Totousi about the sword and how it was coming along." I had to convince her. "You can ask him when we get back." I smiled at her and stood up. I held out my had for her to take it and she did. Inuyasha growled again and snapped at me like he was a monster or something. Really, he was challenging me. Challenging me to fight for her. Kat took my arm and we walked out of the cave.

Back To Kat Who Is Walking With Teranchi

I knew that I shouldn't have taken his arm, but I did any way just to get out of the cave. I shielded my eyes from the sun. I blinked stupidly for a moment as Teranchi waited me to adjust. I nodded and we continued walking. I sniffed the air. Inuyasha was coming. "Are you accepting my challenge or what?" Inuyasha called out. Teranchi turned around with me still attached to his arm.

"As soon as her sword is done." Teranchi called back. He continued walking with me in tow. "What challenge?" I asked, but I knew that he wouldn't answer. "You will find out in as soon as your sword is done." He smiled and we kept walking. I felt that same prescience boring holes into the back of my head. I turned around. Noting. I turned to Teranchi. He smiled sweetly but I didn't return the smile. Instead I frowned. I felt his hand cup my chin forcing me to look deep into his eyes.

He searched my gaze for a moment like he was looking for a specific emotion from me. I looked in his green eyes and saw the last thing that I wanted to see, lust. He had lust filled eyes and I could smell his arousal. "Ter...Teranchi. What are you doing?" I asked. I watched him look my body over.

"Teranchi.... Please stop your scaring me." He shook his head a few times. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you Kat." He let go of my chin and we continued walking. It was getting late and the entire time we walked in silence. We headed back to camp where a pissed off Inuyasha was waiting for us. As soon as we walked through the entranceway, he was all over us. He pulled Teranchi away from me and sniffed me all over. When he was finally satisfied with my scent he walked back to his corner with me in his arms.

"Inuyasha put me down now." I said angrily. He acted like I belonged to him and I didn't!!! He sat down with me in his lap. "Kat I don't want you to go on any more walks with him alone." he said dryly. "I will do as I please." I replied looking him in the eyes. "I don't want him near you anymore. You don't know what he might do." I shook my head. "Inuyasha, I don't know what you might do either, but that doesn't mean that I should stay away from you." I tried to stand up but he pulled me closer to his chest.

"But you trust me mot to do anything right?" He sounded hurt. I looked in his eyes again. "Inuyasha of course I trust you. But I also trust Teranchi and you should respect that." He nodded his head and released me from his grasp. I hugged him tightly around his neck and nudged his chest with my cheek. "If it makes you feel any better, I'll sleep here with you tonight." "Yes, that would make me feel better." He hugged me tight and put his nose in my hair. "Inuyasha, but then tomorrow night I am going to sleep with Teranchi. You need to trust him the same way you trust me. Why don't you two do something together tomorrow?" Inuyasha was going to object about the matter, but before he could I kissed him.

He was a little startled but soon deepened the kiss. I stopped first. "You need to trust him. Ok?" he nodded his head. I looked out into the distance and watched the sun set. I finally fell asleep in the warmth of Inuyasha's arms.

I watched her fall asleep in my brother's arms. She was in heat and I needed her. I had a plan all figured out. When my brother and the wolf were doing the challenge, I would take for my own. My brother would be tired to do anything about it. I had seen some of the attacks that the girl could do and how fast she was. I was hoping that I would be able to catch her by surprise. She was just as fast as me, so I was going to put a few spells on her so she would be frozen and that she couldn't attack. Six more days and my plan will come together. I left the volcano to travel home to make preparations for my guest.

Back To Kat.

When I opened my eyes I was still in Inuyasha's arms. I looked up into his face, he was still asleep. I felt safe in his arms and wished that this moment could last forever. He opened one eye and smiled at me. I returned the smile and stood up. It felt weird not being in the warmth of Inuyasha's arms but I soon got used to it. My stomach grumbled. Inuyasha's ears stood up and his grin widened. "Looks like someone is hungry." I blushed and nodded. Inuyasha stood up and left the cave.

A while later he returned with a wild boar and some eggs. He handed them to me and I began to make breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, and water. The days were short and the nightlong. I switched between the two men every night. One night I'd sleep in Teranchi's arms the next Inuyasha's. Until finally my sword was finished.

It was around one o' clock or so when Totousi came out of his back room with a sheathed sword at had. I smiled at him and he returned the warm smile. "Try it out." He said as he handed me the sword. I jumped up and headed out the cave with Inuyasha, Teranchi, and Totousi. I unsheathed the sword. It looked ordinary. "Inuyasha I want you to fight with her." Totousi said calmly. Inuyasha nodded and pulled out Tetsusaiga. He transformed it into the larger form and got ready to fight. I carefully set the sheath down and got into a fighting stance. During the last few days I practiced with a stick instead of a sword.

He dashed at me with the Tetsusaiga and I blocked the attack. My sword changed!!! It was large like the Tetsusaiga but instead of the furry stuff at the bottom it had something like feathered beads. The blade of the sword was sharp and the hilt had a silver dragon with glowing sapphire eyes. I looked at my sword and didn't pay attention to Inuyasha's attack. He hit the sword, but knocked me over onto my backside.

I stood up and walked over to Totousi. I hugged him tightly and smiled. "This is wonderful." I said cheerfully. "I am glad you like it." said the sword-smith. "What is the sword called?" Totousi looked at me and then at my sword. "It's name is Gotenku." I looked back at my sword. "Gotenku. Doesn't that mean heaven or sky?" I asked. "Yes." was all that the sword-smith said before he turned his back to me.

"Your sword is very powerful, you had a very difficult fang to work with." I smiled at his back and sheathed Gotenku. "Some of your most powerful attacks are Dragon fang and Goten Soukon No Sora. (A/N Goten Soukon No Sora means heavens scar on the sky.)
It will take you some time to master these attacks perfectly." He turned back to me and looked at the sword. "The sheathe of the sword can be used against Thunder and lightning attacks just like Inuyasha's." I looked at the sheathe in my hands. It also had a silver dragon on it, except this on was different then the one on my sword. This one looked sad, like it was hiding a deep sorrow.

"I am now very tired. I will go rest., stated Totousi. We all nodded and let the sword-smith go rest. "Inuyasha can you come with me please?" Inuyasha nodded and followed me to the edge of the mountain. Teranchi watched us for only a moment before he went into the cave. "What is it?" Inuyasha asked. "Well, I made a promises to you and I didn't keep it." Inuyasha looked at me confused. "What promises are you talking about?" I traveled inside my head searching for lost answers. "I promised that in a weeks time that I would tell you all of my secrets. I was supposed to tell them to you four days ago." I glanced at my feet then at Gotenku.

"So what do you want to know?" I looked into his eyes. "Well?" Inuyasha thought for a moment. "You have to tell the truth." I nodded. "Same with you." "Fine, but you apparently know a lot about me already." I smiled again. "I want to know about your past." Great, that was one of the things that I hoped wouldn't he ask. My past was not something to be talked about.

"Well Inuyasha, what about my past do you want to know about?" Inuyasha looked at the sunset. "Your childhood, you didn't seem so comfortable with your family that I...met."

I sighed and stared out at the forest below. "Well, I started my childhood as an orphan. Apparently, my real family didn't want me anymore so they got rid of me. I was at the orphanage since I was 1 month old, from that point on I was sent from family to family, but no one liked me. Finally, one day I had enough and ran away from the orphanage. There I joined gangs and did drugs. I stole things and lived on the street. Then, the police caught me and I spent a year in juvy hall doing community survive. Then they sent me back to the orphanage. I've been to about 27 homes. The family that you met was the one that I have been with for about a year or so. I try not to get to close to them because it seems whenever there is a family that I get along with, they get rid of me. They wanted to get me into a hobby, so they got me started into anime. My favorite was of course the show Inuyasha." I smiled at the forest and continued on. "I learned about the show and all the characters. I think that I liked that show the best because the main character was a lot like me. He was alone and wanted to love, but sometimes had problems doing that. He had some great friends and a person who loved them. As he traveled with them they got through their problems together. And his past was like mine."

Inuyasha nodded and hugged me close. I could feel the tears prick the sides of my eyes. I didn't want to cry, but I did. " So that was how I made friends, by talking anime with them. I got good grades in school and had some friends that cared. All because of my hero, Inuyasha" I hugged Inuyasha and smiled into his chest. "Is there anything else that you want to know?" I asked between sobs.

"No, maybe later." Inuyasha cupped his hand and lifted my chin. He smiled at me and wiped my eyes with the sleeve of his green fire rat that I gave him. "It's alright." He lifted me up and we headed to the outside of the cave. He sat me down and went inside. A few minutes later he came out with Teranchi.

'Ohh no!! It was the challenge thing that they were talking about last week. I have to find a way to stop them. But how?'

"Teranchi!! You promised to tell me about the challenge thing." Teranchi nodded and came over to me. "The challenge is when two youki, or in this case a hanyou and a youki, fight for a mate. The one who less injured at the end gets the female." He walked away to stretch his muscles. "Inuyasha!!!!!" Inuyasha raised his head and walked over.

"What?" I looked him dead in the eyes and told him what I thought about this whole 'challenge' thing ."Inuyasha, I do not approve of this whole thing!! Don't I get a say in this?" Inuyasha shook his head and walked off. "No, you don't get a say in this." I couldn't take this. I couldn't see my two friends fight over me.

"I will not stand for this!!!!" I yelled at them. They both ignored me and continued stretching. Then they got into a fighting stance and started the fight. I ran into the cave not wanting to see the two clobber each other. I searched for Totousi to see if would stop the madness, but he was nowhere to be found.

I could here the punches and kicks and I saw Inuyasha fly across the clearing. Then I smelt it. It was the scent like Inuyasha's. I turned around and there was Sesshomaru!!! He looked at me with his expressionless face and walked closer. I backed up until I was up against the wall. "What...What do you want Sesshomaru?" He was so close our breath was mingling together. He put his arms up on the wall so that I couldn't get away. "You." was what he whispered before he sent out a spell.

I couldn't run or attack. He picked me up and carried me bridal style outside. "Inuyasha!!" I called out. He looked up from his fighting. "Kat!!!! I'm coming." I saw him run but he was to slow. We were up in the air before he even reached us. "Kat I'll save you don't worry!!" I saw two little specks on the ground beneath us. I want to cry but the spell wouldn't allow it. I looked up at Sesshomaru who had his eyes on the sky. "You are a monster." I whispered. He ignored me.

We fly through the day until dusk. At that time we landed in a forest and made camp. Well, he made camp and I just kinda sat under a tree and watched. I watched the demon carefully as he made a fire. He seemed not to notice, but I know that his senses were very strong.

' I wonder what he wants. In the show he always seemed like a bad person, but I knew that deep down in his heart he wasn't the monster that the show claimed he was. I was wrong. How could he do something like this? And why me? I did nothing to him or to Rin or Janken, Hmmmm what is going on here?'

It was getting late and I was hungry. The spell was getting weaker I could feel it, but it was still too strong for me to break it and it would still be there in the morning. My stomach growled. I mentally slapped myself for being weak. Sesshomaru looked at me from across the fire. "You are hungry. he said in the same emotionless voice. I blushed and nodded. "I will return." He got up and left with only a speed that a full demon could muster. In a matter of minutes he had returned with two rabbits and what looked like to be a deer, but I wasn't sure.

He quickly skinned them and had them on the fire. I finally racked up the nerves to ask the big questions. "Ummm Sesshomaru?" He looked up but did not reply. "Why did you kidnap me, where are we now, and when will I see Inuyasha again?" He just stared and did not reply. After a while of no answer I gave up and looked at my feet and the surrounding forest.

"We are currently in my lands." Sesshomaru said while flipping over the rabbits and the deer creature. "And I did not kidnap you. Also, you will not be seeing Inuyasha as long as I can help it." He whispered the last part and I had trouble hearing it. I looked up abruptly. "What do mean you didn't kidnap me!?!?!?!" I yelled. "In case you don't know what kidnapping is, let me explain it. Kidnapping is when you take someone against their will from the people that they love or care for. That is kidnapping." I glared daggers at him as he just sat there and stared.

In a flash he was by my side and we were face to face. "You will not speak to me like I am a child or my pathetic brother." The last part he spat out. "As soon as we are done eating you will rest and as soon as I see light we will leave for the castle." He came a little closer until his lips were pressed up against my ear. "And do not try to break free because at this very moment I am setting another round of the spell." I tried to struggle but I was stuck. I had Gotenku in my right hand and air in my left. I grasped my sword tighter.

Sesshomaru saw my actions and picked up the sword from my hands. "No that's mine!!" I yelled. He glanced at me once before he unsheathed my sword. He didn't even get to pull it out more then an inch because there was a surge of energy that flashed through the camp. He reseated the remaining part of the sword and set it down on my lap. "Thank you." mumbled dryly. He glanced at me and returned to the roasting food. "You know Sesshomaru it wouldn't hurt to smile a little." He looked up again from the food. "Why?" he asked stupidly. "Because smiling is good for you. See." I smiled brightly at him.

"You have a nice...Umm...smile" he said awkwardly. "You try." I watched the Taiyouki. He didn't even attempt to smile. "Smiling is for happiness and happiness is a human emotion that I will not express." He picked the food off of the fire. He waved his hand and I could move my upper body freely again. He handed me a rabbit and I hungrily ate it. He shook his head and began to eat the deer thing.

Inuyasha's POV

"Kat I'll save you don't worry." I ran as fast as I could. Soon Teranchi was by my side as we ran together after the shadow. I put forth a burst of speed but still couldn't catch up. I took to the trees jumping on the utmost branches to try and reach my friend. Suddenly they were gone. I stopped and jumped to the ground. I felt the tears run down my cheeks. I quickly rubbed them away and started off back toward Totousi's cave.

' There's only one thing that I can do. I will have to go back to Kagome and see if the others will help. They'll have to help. Kat is my friend, our friend.'

I ran to the cave to get whatever supplies I needed and started off towards Kaede's hut back at the village. I ran as fast as I could the mountain giving me some extra momentum. I felt a presence next to me. I looked over and there was Teranchi. "What do you want?" He scowled. "I'm going to help save my friend. By the way, where are we going?" I rolled my eyes. "We're heading back to some friends of mine that can help us. After that, we'll all head over to the western lands to where Sesshomaru lives." Teranchi nodded.

We ran all day and all night until we were at the edge of Kaede's village. Teranchi sniffed the air. "My brother is here." he said looking off into the distance. "Damn." I mumbled under my breath. We continued running until we reached the hut. I barged in with Teranchi at my heels. There was a strange silence when we entered, but that was fine with me. I searched the room with my eyes until I fond what I was looking for.

"Kagome, I.... I need your help." She got up and ran over to Inuyasha. Sango, Miroku, Shippo, Kilara, and Kouga did the same. We all walked outside. Kouga shot his brother a nasty look. Teranchi chose to ignore it. "What do you need help with?" asked Sango "And where is Kat?" I looked down at the ground.

"Sesshomaru has her." The group gasped. "What happened Inuyasha?" Miroku asked. I sat down and began to tell the story leaving out the challenge, the time we slept together, and the bathe times. Teranchi also added in little comments here and there, but he also left out the few items.

When I was done talking there was an awkward silence. Teranchi stood up and began to walk away. "Where are you going little brother?" asked Kouga. Teranchi turned around. "We aren't going to save her by just sitting here. Who knows what that Sesshomaru guy is doing right now. I say we just head over there and get through the problems as they come." I shook my head.

"We are dealing with Sesshomaru. He's the kind of person that thinks things through. Like all our weaknesses and strengths. We should wait until morning." Kagome and the others nodded. "Kouga, will you be coming with us." asked Kagome. I rolled my eyes and went to go and talk to Miroku about what we should do.

"Sure, of course I will come with to save Kat. Who knows, Dogface over there might screw things up and then that will take over? My brother? No way." Kouga smiled wolfishly at her and headed off to talk to his sibling. "I wonder what Sesshomaru would want with Kat? She is a hanyou like you and to add to the situation, she was human before. So what could Sesshomaru want with her?" said Miroku. I shrugged. "How are we going to get her back?" Miroku closed his eyes. "I don't know Inuyasha. I don't know." I got up and jumped into a near by tree.
