Kyoko stepped out of the car and waved good-bye to her father. He told her to call her if she needs a ride home.

Kyoko saw the steps leading up to the shrine. “How did Kagome ever did this?” she asked herself. She sighed and walked up the, what seemed to her, the never-ending stairs.

When she was at the top, Kyoko had her hands on her knees, panting at her recent workout. She saw a figure walking towards her. “Hello there. My name is Yumi (A/N: I don't know Kagome's mother name, so I gave her one) Higurashi. What are you doing here? If you want a tour of the shrine, you have to come back tomorrow,” said Mrs. Higurashi.

“Uh, my name is Kyoko Miyoshi. I am actually here to want to speak to you and your family. It's about your, uh, daughter. Kagome,” said Kyoko. Mrs. Higurashi sucked in air. She was about to snap at the young girl that was standing before her. But, her nature was being nice and cool, so she led Kyoko into her house.

When they were inside, Yumi called out to Souta and her father. They came downstairs and they were instructed to sit on the couch.

“Now, you said that you wanted to speak to us about my daughter,” Yumi said. Kyoko nodded and said, “Well, I am Kagome's reincarnation.” No one spoke.

“I thought you looked like her a lot,” said Jii-Chan. Souta and Yumi looked at Jii-Chan and then inspected Kyoko. “She does look like my sister,” said Souta. Yumi agreed with her son. She looked exactly like Kagome, except for her eyes. But, she had to make sure it was her daughter's reincarnation.

“How old was she when she went to the Feudal Era?” asked Yumi. Kyoko knew what she was doing and wasn't the bit surprised. She answered, “She was fifteen years old and it was her birthday.” Yumi didn't ask any more questions. She knew that Kyoko would answer her other questions correctly.

“You are free to look around Kyoko,” said Jii-Chan. Kyoko said thank you and walked outside. She went directly to the God Tree. `I remember that tree. Kagome freed InuYasha from that spell Kikyo put him under,' Kyoko thought. She climbed the tree and went to hers and InuYasha's favorite spot. She remembered, from Kagome's memories, that she would be in InuYasha's arms, watch the stars at night and watch the sunset and sunrise.

After a few minutes, she climbed back down. She felt something tugging inside of her. She was drawn to something that was by the well. What she saw amazed her. It was the grave for Kagome! Kyoko dropped onto her knees. Kagome's gravesite!

“We knew that she would die. I saw the gravesite when we moved here,” said a voice. Kyoko turned around and saw Yumi with a sad look on her face. “We couldn't tell her, so she never knew that it was here,” she said. She walked towards the girl and knelt beside her. “I couldn't change the past. Some great things might have happened when she died. Also, there's you,” Yumi explained. Kyoko just nodded her head. She did understand.

Kyoko left Mrs. Higurashi and walked towards the well house. She opened the door and sneezed and coughed when the dust flew out. Kyoko walked inside. She could feel very faint auras around. She is the Kagome reincarnated, is she not?!

Kyoko walked around. She could remember jumping in out of the well. She could remember the rush of the time warp so she could go to the past and present. `Time is so friggen confusing!' she thought.

She knelt by the well. She placed her hands on the lip and could remember when Mistress Centipede pulled her inside of it. She shuddered when she remembered when the youkai licked her face. `That was so gross!' she shouted in her mind.

Then, an idea popped into her mind. “I wonder…” she whispered. Since the well had a cover on it, she lifted it off and jumped into the dark well. She landed on the ground and nothing happened. No blue light, nothing. “So much for that idea,” she said.

Kyoko sighed and climbed up the old rope ladder. She was amazed that it didn't break or anything. Souta found her and asked if she wanted to stay for dinner and for the night. Kyoko agreed, but had to call her father. She followed the grown Souta into the house and handed her the phone. Kyoko dialed the number and her father answered the phone. Kin didn't mind and said that he would pick her up whenever she wanted him to.

After dinner, Kyoko went to Kagome's bedroom. A blast of memories invaded her mind. She remembered InuYasha kissing her on her bed and him leaping into the room to drag her back to the Feudal Era. Kyoko was almost her age when she jumped off the cliff. She went to one of her drawers to see if any of her pajamas would fit her. `Trying on a dead girls clothes, very nice,' she thought sarcastically. Sure enough, they all fit.

Kyoko flopped onto the bed and drifted off to sleep.
