It was late at night in Miroku and Sango's room. They had one crazy night at the Higurashi home. They were laying in bed, just listening to the pitter-pat of the rain. The couple was holding hands and memories were passing through, except for Miroku.
Something was definitely wrong; he could feel it. It was like Kyoko was forced to leave herself. His gut started to do flips. `Is Kagome's spirit tainted somehow?' he asked himself.
Sango could feel her husband's distress. She had known him for over five hundred years. So, of course she'll know everything about him. “What's wrong Miroku?” asked his wife. He looked at her and replied, “Nothing, nothing at all.” Sango made a face that said, `bullshit.' Miroku sighed, “I just have a bad feeling, is all.”
Sango was now curious at what he just said. `Bad feeling? What does he mean?' she questioned in her mind. Sango asked him at what he meant. He simply just shrugged. She then hit him in the shoulder; “Tell me!” Miroku sighed in defeat. He knew he wouldn't win the war that would soon happen.
“Well, when we were in the Higurashi house, I felt…weird in there. It was like; I felt weird vibes from Kyoko. It was like she was forced to leave her mind. I think something is going on within Kyoko's mind. And Kagome is in it.”
Sango couldn't believe her ears. Is he serious? But, how could he say that? Sango closed her eyes. If it was true, how can they help?
She looked at her husband and saw him sleeping. She sighed and decided to go to sleep too.
Before she went to sleep, she was thinking. She was thinking about Kyoko and Kagome. Kyoko looked so much like Kagome, except for her eyes. Her eyes were blue.
Then, she was thinking about what Miroku said before. Maybe she should pay attention closer to Kyoko or Kagome, or whoever is, or might, control the reincarnation's mind.
