Kyoko's eyes flared. Flames started to dance in them. Who in the hell called her by that name? Her name is Kyoko, not Kagome!
“Who in the hell just called me by that name?” Kyoko demanded. A figure appeared and she saw that it was InuYasha. Why didn't she know that?
“I am Kyoko, Ky-o-ko. Not Kagome, get that?” she growled. InuYasha winced. He remembered when Kagome did that when she awoken him in the God Tree and he thought that she as Kikyo. Doesn't it seem that time is repeating itself, except in a different situation?
“I'm sorry, I thought Kagome was still in there,” apologized InuYasha. Kyoko decided to accept it, for now. “May I come up and join you?” asked the hanyou. Kyoko nodded and InuYasha leapt up to sit next to the girl.
“So, how did you get your way like that? I remember you in…Kagome's memories…that your look is normally silver hair, dog-ears, and gold eyes. How did your human side to appear, I mean,” asked Kyoko.
InuYasha sighed, “I use a spell to conceal my demon appearance.” Kyoko made an “o” with her mouth. Then she asked, “Wouldn't Sango and Miroku been dead by now? It's been over 500 years, has it not?”
InuYasha thought that it would be a long night since Kyoko was asking so many questions. But, he would be polite, for once, and answer them.
“Well, Miroku and Sango went to get ingredients to make an immortal potion. They want to live long enough to see Kagome's reincarnation, since that's you. Any more questions?”
“Yeah, why don't you take down you concealment spell? No one here is going to catch your true side.”
InuYasha was a little nervous. But, he was happy to let the spell down. His hair suddenly turned black to silver; golden eyes to violet; his human ears disappeared and dog-ears appeared; and his demon features took over his human features.
To tell the truth, InuYasha was more comfortable. Kyoko looked at him. He looked like a god in the moonlight. No wonder Kagome was so much in love with him. He was handsome, and strong in his looks. And so far, as she known him so far, he was nice and polite.
~Don't get too excited. Soon, you'll see his true nature.~
~~I think that this is his true nature. Leave me be!~~
InuYasha saw different facial features crossing through Kyoko. When it was down, Kyoko just looked up at him and smiled.
Kyoko yawned. “I better go to bed. If you couldn't tell,” she said. She was about to climb down when she felt hands going around her waist. InuYasha leapt down, holding her.
“Eh, thank you. Good night,” she bowed and ran into the house. She ran to her room and closed the door. She leaned against it and her heart was beating. “Do I really love InuYasha, or is it just Kagome's feelings surfacing?”
