Kagome and Sango lay on the crowded beach, Kagome wearing a black bikini, and Sango wearing
a red one. The two never wasted anytime before hitting the beach. But this one questions was
eating away at Kagome insides, she had to ask. "Sango...who's your roommate.." she looked over
at her.
Sango flushed. "Um..his name is Miroku...he's a monk..."
"That's sounds good..."
"No, no, no, no. let me finish." Sango said. "He also has a kazaana in his right hand."
"What's so bad about that?"
"Your still not letting me finish..." Sango took a breath. "He is um...kind of a hands ON type of
guy...if you are reading what I'm saying." Kagome started to laugh. "Well...other than that he's
real nice..." Sango eyes her friend. "How about you? who's your roommate?"
Kagome stopped laughing and sighed. "His name is Inuyasha, he's a hanyou with an attitude I'm
afraid."
Sango giggled. "Sounds like you will be having fun trying to tame him."
"Why even waste my time?" Kagome asked closing her eyes. "Just as long as he don't stand in my
way I'll be perfect."
"Aw, you don't really mean that." Sango said. "You know, we are the only ones paired of with
members of the opposite sex. You realize that right?"
Kagome shrugged. "I don't really care..." Kagome sighed to herself. Why couldn't Sango just shut
up about them for once? It was bad enough she had to live with the bad-ass hanyou, she didn't
really want to be thinking about him every spare minute she had. She came on this trip to relax,
and that is what she was planning on doing, and no hanyou or monk possessed with a kazaana was
going to stop her from doing so.
"Sango! Aren't you going to introduce me to your friend?"
Kagome opened her eyes, she looked up at the boy who stood before them. 'Sango's monk.' she
thought bitterly to herself.
"Miroku, this is Kagome." Sango said. "She's my best friend."
"Hey, I heard of you." Miroku smirked. "Your staying with my buddy, Inuyasha."
Kagome flushed. "....really..."
"Yeah, oh your really going to like him." Miroku sat down in front of them, he was only wearing a
pair of dark purple and black trunks, a fingerless black glove over his right hand, and his hair was
done up in a really small ponytail, or a rats tail to put it in different terms. "He's a neat guy to get
along with."
"He don't really seem like it though." Kagome said with a sniff as she sat up.
"Ah, give him a chance, according to him you never really gave it a shot to really get to know
him." Miroku said. "You only asked for his name and then he said you skipped off down here.
"Ne, so?" Kagome shrugged and stood up.
"Where are you going?" Sango asked.
"Back to the cabin." Kagome said. "Its other you two are talking too much or the sun is getting to
my brain and making me want to kill the both of you." she walked off. 'Maybe that Miroku dude is
right. I should've have Inuyasha a chance...well, I'll do that. just to see what he's really like.'

Kagome walked out of her room, she had returned herself back into her blue flowery dress after
deciding not to dirty up any of her cloths just yet. She walked out into the living room and
stretched out across the couch. she was looking forward to getting to know Inuyasha, but she
wasn't so sure of Inuyasha wanting to get to know her. Ne, why should she care? 'Actually that's
a good question...' Kagome thought to herself. 'I guess if I want to survive this whole thing I
better hope he is willing to speak to me.'
At that moment, the hanyou in mind walked in through the door, he looked at Kagome.
"Comfortable?"
Kagome didn't like the tone in his voice, but answered anyway. "Hai, of course I am."
Inuyasha scowled. "Its nothing like moving in on someone else's Spring Break, isn't it?"
OK that pushed it, Kagome stood up. "What are you talking about?"
"You know what I'm talking about, bitch." Inuyasha almost yelled. "I was suppose to have this
whole place to myself!"
"Well excuse the HELL out of me!" Kagome yelled. "I can't help it that I'm here staying with you!
and at this point and time I wish I wasn't!" she walked up to the hanyou and looked him in the
face. "So for both of us to have a good Spring Break we are going to have to deal with each other!
Now goodnight, Inuyasha." she stomped off into her room.
The nerve of that guy! Kagome couldn't believe it! She was trying to be nice and make peace
between the two before anything could start up. But noooooooo, he had to cross the line and
started a fight on their first day there. 'That's why I'm not looking for a boyfriend.' Kagome
sniffed and sat down in the soft chair that was in her room. 'Guys like him are enough to drive any
girl mad.'

Kagome smiled and walked out through her patio door, the almost-full moon made the area bright,
so bright that it reminded Kagome of the brightness of the sun. She looked at the stars, twinkling
in their numberless glory. "..mm...I love nights like this..." she frowned and thought about the talk
she and Sango had before they left Japan. "...you know...it WOULD be nice to have someone to
share it with."
It crossed Kagome's mind to run over to the cabin Hojo was staying in, but it was quickly
whipped away when she realized what she was thinking about. "Am I going crazy? Am I really
saying all this?" she then thought back to the fight she and Inuyasha had, had earlier that day, she
hadn't left her room since. "He's so angry..." she said hugging herself. "What is up with him?
Why does he have a problem with me being here? It kinda hurts..."
Listening from the roof, the hanyou sighed. 'She's crazy if she thinks I'm going to take a liking to
her, even as a friend. She reminds me too much of Kikyo...' Kikyo was once Inuyasha's girlfriend,
but he had caught her fucking with Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha's brother, one night in Inuyasha's bed.
Tears stung Inuyasha's eyes. That night hurt hm so much, the only girl he had ever loved...
Inuaysha thought back to earlier that day after he had spoken to Miroku, he saw her, she was with
one of the lifeguards. Inuyasha wanted to go over and rip both her and that bishonen lifeguard to
pieces, but he had held it all back.
Inuyasha looked down at Kagome, who was still looking up at the stars, he could smell a whiff of
sadness pass over her. He frowned. 'Maybe I WAS a little too hard on her...besides, she ISN'T
Kikyo, after all.'
