Chieko-san: Chapter 6. I thought I wasn't going to get this done tonight, but since all my friends are gone and I wasn't allowed to go with them I am now going to do this chapter. *sigh* Enjoy.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*< P>Kagome huddled up on a rock and watched as the waves crashed against the shoreline. Kagome

had walked off the public beach and found the large rocky mass, it reminded her of the times she

spent with her grandpa, how they would walk along the shoreline as he told her all different kinds

of legends about ancient youkai warriors.

She smiled as she thought back to about an hour before when she had punched Kikyo out. She

never felt so good about herself in along time. 'But I wonder what Inuyasha thought of it.' she

thought to herself. 'I know it sure made me happy to see that bitches nose bleed...but I wonder if

he felt the same...probably not...he still 'wants' her badly.'

She sighed and suddenly felt depressed, she didn't know why though. It was just the thought of

being alone made her jealous. She could see Sango and her little monk friend hitting it off, she

could sense it as soon as she saw them together, and after Miroku had told her that he was going

to try and get Sango as his own. And she was hurting for Inuyasha, he had lost all trust in women,

especially those like Kagome who looked just like his bitch of an ex.

'I wish there was more I could do for him.' she thought with a soft sigh. 'He's too good to be

suffering like this...'

The crashing of the waves kept Kagome from hearing the sounds of footsteps coming up behind

her, she wasn't aware of her visitor until he tapped her on the shoulder. Kagome slowly looked

back and into the golden eyes of the hanyou in thought. She stopped breathing as he sat in front of

her, what was he going to do? What was he going to say? She winced at her thoughts.

"You punched her." Inuyasha said flatly.

Kagome chewed on her bottom lip, she couldn't read the hanyou's face, it had no expression, so

she couldn't tell whether he was mad or thrilled at what she did. She opened her mouth to speak,

but was cut off short by Inuyasha's fingers, which he pressed against her lips slowly.

"And you did it for me." Inuyasha whispered, he took a small breath and brought Kagome into a

small hug. "...I never realized that anyone would actually do something like that for me...thank

you, Kagome..."

Kagome's mouth dropped but she hugged him back. 'This wasn't what I was expecting...'

Kagome sat on her room floor, the sun was gone down, and the bright full moon had taken its

place. "I wonder where Inuyasha went off to." she said herself out loud. "He's in the cabin

somewhere..." she stood up and walked out of her room. "Inuyasha?" she looked at his room

door, it was closed. "Inuyasha are you in there?" she knocked softly on the door. 'Hmm...that's

strange..' she thought.

Kagome put her hand on the nob and turned it slowly, then gently pushed the door open. She

peered into Inuyasha's room, she couldn't see him anywhere. "Inuyasha are you in here?" she

walked into the room. "Inuyasha?" she felt a hand grab her around her mouth and screamed. She

twirled around to face the person who grabbed her. She was expecting to look into the welcoming

golden eyes on Inuyasha, but instead she looked into a pari of violet ones, the boy who owned

them had long black hair and was wearing very familiar clothing. Kagome gasped and looked into

his face. It was Inuyasha. "Inuyasha? Oh my gosh what happened...your...your human..."

"You can see who I am?" Inuyasha asked, his eyes growing wide.

"Of course! I could never forget your face." Kagome said, blushing a bit when she realized what

she had said.

Inuyasha smiled. "I can't believe you knew me...Kikyo couldn't tell the difference even...she

attacked me..."

Kagome looked at him. "I never forget a face..." 'Especially your's Inuyasha...' she finished off in

her head. "..so...how did you become human?"

"Since I'm a hanyou, on every full moon I become a full human. But it only lasts for a night."

Inuyasha explained. "It really gets to me, that's why I never answered you."

Kagome nodded, understanding perfectly. "I thought there was something wrong, I was really

worried.

'She was worried?' Inuyasha thought in surprise. 'About...me?'
