Stressfull Day's Ten: Confessions of the Heart

Souta woke up with a wide yawn before the alarm clock evan began ring, he hopped out of bed like a little kid on christmas. He grabed his beast walking shoes and an out fit, threw them on and walked oer to his dresser, he picked up a black choker that had a silver moon on it. He shook his head as he stuck it in his poket.
"Kagome's gonna hate me..." He picked up three more simple silver chains and stuffed them in his other poket. he grabed his own onix crystal neaklass and put it on. He turned to walk out the room after grabbing his backpack.
He passed his sisters room to see the door ajar, his curiosity got the best of him and he peeked inside. He had to bite his tounge to not laugh and shout in joy at what he saw.
Inuyasha was lying on Kagome's bed, and with her still on it! He had his arm wrapped around her waist and she was snugglig into him. If this wasn't his sister he would have thought it was kinda qute. He dropped his bagg, it gave a small thump, it wouldn't rouse a human, but Inuyasha snapped awake and glared at him as he uncontiously held her tighter to him. Souta grined as he turned his foot in and held his closed hands up to his cheek bone and batted his eyes.
"Oh Inuyasha, your so sweet?" He had his voice high pitched in a crappy imitation of Kagome's. Inuyasha rolled his eyes as he hopped out of bed, carful not to disturb the sleeping beuty.
"What do you want brat?" Souta seamed to look thoughtfull at the question.
"A million dollars, a girlfriend, a car, I want a lot of things, but what do YOU want?" He asked as he gesturd to Kagome. Inuyasha growled at him as he reached down under the bed and grabed the Tuetsuaiga. Souta held up his hands in retreat as he took a step back.
"Woa! I just ment I'd help you if you help *me*..." He said as he reached in his pocket and held out the choker. Inuyasha snatched it from him and looked it over, it was realy beutiful....
"This it?" He asked sharply, Souta nodded as he eyed him , clearly anoyed.
"Yah, that's it. Don't plan on making up the last three years in hirty seconds with it either, she's still my sister and I don't want her hurt, it's a little weaker than yours, the most it should do is make her lose he fealing in her legs for about five minutes, about the same amount of time it takes 'till the effects of your sit wears off. And it won't drive her into the ground like yours dos you, it'll just make her num longer." He warned. Inuyasha nodded as he stuck the choker in his pocket.
"Okay, now what were you talking about I help you, you help me?" He asked. Souta leaned against the doors frame as he nodded twards Kagome.
"It's not a secret that she loves yu around here, and I know you feal somthing for her, I've been reading almost nothing but books of demons suposed behaviour in myths and legands. Yuo were acting like she was your mate and protecting her evan in her sleep on instinct. I've also been reain up on the instincts of animals, but thats not the point.
"I can help you get together with her, I'm her little bro, I've known her only my whole life, I know what she likes and dosn't, I help you get her, and yu help ME with my fighting and training me with my power, I know you have some in you, you try to hide it and it would take a miricle for ANYONE to sense it, and you know it. So...you scrtch my back I scratch yours?" He asked as he held out his hand, Inuyasha gave the kid a uneasy look.
He reminded him way to much of Miroku...

"Sesshou...Se-Sesshouma...Sesshoumaru!!" Kagura snapd awake in the empty room, her blood was on fire! She neaded to cool it down! She got up on her wably legs and nearly fell down. She had to get out, to the river, the ice cold water should help her cool down.
She crawled out of her sleeping palet and colapsed again. She minipulated the wind so air cold as ice wraped it's self around her, it was a temporary relife to the buring, but she had to get to the water. She reached up with a weak arm and plucked a feather out of her hair, she pourd her youkai into it as it grew. She once again pinipulated the wind to lift her up and put her on the abnormaly huge feather.
"Tak...Take me to the river..." She softly comanded. As if the feather had heard her it lifted up and quietly flew out of the hut, she continued to minipulate the ind to throw the ice air on her hyper sensitive body. She arived above the water and roled off.
She screamed as she felt the water hit her body like knives.

Sesshoumaru snaped awake when he heard the scream from far off in the distance. He didn't have to kook around to know that it was Kagura, he could smell the thick arousle and the sweat from her full heat. She was probably in pain right now, he had to find her!
He let his nose guide him out the hut, he could faintly smell her scent, he knew that she used a feather, he'd have to leap it. Sesshoumaru lept up and twards the direction of her scent, the suprisingly cold night was making it all that much harder for him to smell her.The scent's trail eventualy led him to the lake.
Where she was floating face down.
Sesshoumaru wasn't thinking when he dived into the water, he swam up to her and wrapped her in his tail, her hair was down and matted to her head, she was freezing under his touch, her lips were turning blue. He could hear her faint heart beat and thanked all the gods that he had one.
"Kagura! Kagura wake up! Please!" He rubbed his hand on her cheek in an attempt to wake her, she slowly opend her eyes, her teeth were chattering away violantly as she looked up at him with week eyes.
"Sesshou....maru.....it was so hot....I'm cold...."She snuged into him weekly, he had left his armour and and boot sat the hut, and he himself was freezing within the water. He wraped her tightly in his arms as he jumped out the water and landed on the shore, looking down, Kagura was starting to warm rapidly, her heat was almost at it's peek and he swore under his breath, she ran away to get to the lake to calm down he body....and he had just gotten her out of it before it could hae any real affect on her!
"Put me...put me in the water...." Sesshoumaru looked down at her with a hard look set on his usuay stoic face. He raised an eyebrow at her.
"Why? So you can drown yourself? If I hadn't have gotten here when I did you'd be dead by now!" e growled out. Kagura glared up at the stubborn inu demon as she pointed to herself.
"Why would you care?! Put me in the water! I need to calm my self down! This is the most powerful heat I've ever had, and I'd rather die than wake up not knowing where I was or what I did to satisfy my goddamn blood! Now PUT me in the GODDAMN WATER!!" She yelled. Sesshoumaru glared down at her, the fire in her eyes, the passion, how could she think he didn't care? He rubed her cheek as his expression softend.
Kagura knew she loved him, since the moment she saw him, and she knew that he wouldn't give her a second glance when it came to mating matters with him, dog demons mate for life, as well as wind demons, she was willing to spend the rest of her life with him, she knew that.
But would he spend the rest of his life with her? A slightly ore powerful demon than normal? One who was borne into poverty? One who he would rather have as a slave than a mate?
But looking up into his eyes she knew that he must have felt somthing for her, his hard, yet soothing eyes looked deeply into her's as she uncontiously began to move closer twards him.
Sesshoumaru didn't know what he was doing, with how badly her heat was getting it was REALY aking a tool on his instincts, so far it hadn't been what they had expected, thay had though that they would have to pin her down and lock her in a room with other feamales so she didn't go out raping men to calm herself.
But he knew that he felt somthing for her, she had invaded his thoughts since they had first met two and a half years ago....his dreams had been full of her and only her. Of them performing the most intimate of dances in the night, of them evan having pups of their own.....but dog demon's took mates for life and he knew that many other demons did as well, and that included wind demons.
Taking a mate happend only when mating, it was a lacing of souls, when one died, the other would not be able to live, and would be driven mad by grieve. If a demon too a human as mate it would turn them ino a demon as well, the sharing of blood was instinctual, and the newly introduced demon blood would drive out the human blood. His father had not done that with Mikoto because he knew that though she loved his father with all her heart, she did not want to cheet death and become imortal.
His father had respected that and did not turn her, but she could have been saved if she was turned. Though he did miss his thrue mother terribly, she was taken by the madness of a desies the was feared by all things with warm blood. She head comitted suicide after the delutions of her own death. Inutaishou had fallen into a deep grieve, but he did not give into it and resisted his death to stay with him, so his son had a father to live and grow up with.
He thought it was a kami's gift when he had met his step mother. He began to act like a child and started to pout around acting like a human teen. It was fate when they became mates, they had had two pups, the twins. Inya and Inuyasha. His memories had become blury after that....
Would he live on? Would he fall? If he took her as mate, would he fall into the extream grieve that his father had when mikoto died? His soul had disintegrated and he was week when he went to war with the rebels. He was mad when he found out that Inya had died, his little sister, who had barley begun to live....he was lost in his anger and blamed Inuyasha, his mother had been the daughter of the mn who had tortured them and killed her.
He blamed himself as well, he was young, to young and to week to hold off an army of humans when they invaded his own home and took him to a human's castle. He was hurt and he was scared, he killed many of the humans and fought to save them....
But in the end...
He was still to week, would he be to week to protect him mate?
"Sesshoumaru.....?What....are.....?"Sesshoumaru was brought out of his thoughts to see that he was only mear inches away from touching lips with her, he wanted nothing more that that.....but he knew that if he kissed her, he couldn't trust himself with her, he'd use her heat and have her in his bed when she didn't want him, she'd have a forced mate and couldn't go back on it. She would hate him and he would hate him self.
No.
He wouldn't kiss her.
Kagura's heart sank as she saw him pull away from her. But she was also slightly realived if he did kiss her, she would have gon into over heat and would have probably died if he didn't mate with her.....
"I....can't....I can't have you hating me...." He whisperd. Kagura looked at him confused, she would never hate him.....never.
"What? I-I would never hate you....." She whisperd as she locked gazes with him. He slid a finger over her cheek bone, in brushed over her lips and traveld down to rest on her neak. He could feal her body heat rise, her heart beat....her arousle....he looked her in the eye as he spoke.
"If I kissed you, I couldn't trust myself with you, your heat has taken me by suprise, I have to stay out of your range of scent or my instincts would go mad. There ave been times in the last week where I probably would have aken you right there, right in front of everybody.....
"If I kissed you I'd loose what little controll I do have and would shurly mate with you.....and I don't think I could live with having you as a forced mate, tricked into mating by your heat.....I can't kiss you....." He sad as his eyes moved down to her lips, he was extreamly confused as she smiled up at him.
"What makes you think that if you mated me it would be by force? Ever since I've met you.....I've.....I've wanted you. With this heat, I've been having thease dreams.....but thats all tht they were, dreams......of a family with you.....of a future with you....of many nights with you." She droped his gaze and looked down, she had to know if he fetlt somthing for her, she had to know if he wanted what she did, he had said that he cared enough to respect her. But did he love her enough to mate her?
"I've been driven mad for the last three years over you. Somtimes I'd ask Naraku to send me out to kill somthing or gather shards just to try and get you off my mind. But you never left, when I met you almost three years ago, that was the day that I actualy had somthing to live for, Kanna was a void and Naraku said that he had her soul and the Kohaku boy's were of no poerpous, I though that he had detroyed it..I hung onto the memory of my little sister and my own hatred of him to try everything to get him dead, them all of a sudden he decides to run away....
"Sometimes I've wonder if I should have just given into him and became a willing slave, babe then the pain of knowing that my family, my sister, my past, my presant was all gone. Then I met you....When you said that you would not help me, I though that you were just another demon that would not give me a secnd glance.
"But over the years, Naraku seemed to have learned of my growing attraction and used it, thats why he realy kidnapped Rin and nearly had her killed.....he originaly sent me to do it, but I knew you cared for the girl as though she was your own and you still do.....he beat me and nearly killed me.....I was so happy when I found out that he had failed to kill her.....
"But what he thought wa a growing atraction, I knew I was falling in love with you....and I know that I am in love with you, I know that if yyou asked me to be your mate, I accept, but I also know that evan if I would accept....
"Would you ask?"
