Kagome woke up with the sun in her eyes. “How long have I been asleep?” she muttered.
“Oh, about three days,” replied Sango.
“What?” shouted Kagome.
“I'm kidding. You've slept for about 15 hours. Thank you for bringing us back, Kagome,” said Sango.

Tears were threatening Kagome's eyes. “Are you sure Sango? I mean, I know I should've asked, but I missed you so much,” said Kagome.

Sango looked at her. It was the truth. The three of them were thrilled to be back.

Miroku and Sango could live together and have children. They could grow old together and watch their grandchildren grow.

Shippo could finally grow up and travel the world and watch it evolve since he was immortal.

“Kagome, you gave us a second chance at living. I'm thrilled that I'm alive again. We don't know anyone else that would've done what you did. How are you feeling? Those gashes look horrible,” said Sango.

Sango looked at the gashes. Miroku, Shippo, and Kaede walked in to see how she was doing. Kagome smiled at them.

Later in the afternoon, Kagome sat with her friends so she could update them while Kaede went to the next village to exorcise a spirit.

She filled them in on the final battle with Naraku after they were murdered. Sango, Miroku, and Shippo didn't have any expressions on their faces. Kagome told them about her elemental powers and Midoriko and Ashley. Surprise was evident on their faces.

“Kagome, could you please show us?” Shippo asked.

Kagome smiled and replied, “Sure Shippo. I'll show you. Follow me.”

She led them to a patch of grass. Kagome decided that she would use Earth to grow a flower. She called upon the element, and before her friend's eyes a flower grew. They were in awe.

“Kagome, do you know what this means?” asked Miroku. Kagome shook her head. “Well, since you can control the elements and you're also a Miko, you're the most powerful Miko in history,” he said.

`Imagine that. I am the most powerful Miko in history. I'll be damned,' she thought.

Sango looked around. “Kagome, where's InuYasha? Did he go to hell with Kikyo?” she asked.

Kagome nodded her head. Sango looked down. She should have known, but he could've changed his mind.

“Oh, I forgot to mention. I am not a descendent of Kikyo. I am actually a descendent of Midoriko. Isn't that cool?” she said. The three looked at her.

“That's great Kagome. I think it's way better like that,” said Miroku.

All of a sudden, a cold chill swept through the four. They saw their breath. It was cold, but weren't they just warm? They heard a growling sound.

“Who's there?” asked Miroku.
