Chapter Two- Kagome's Time

He stands and runs out of her hut and to the shrine.

Inuyasha runs into the shrine and past the guards, "Wait!" They scream, "You are not allowed in here!"

As Inuyasha grabs the jewel and runs off he says, "Ask Priestess Kikyou about it later and she will tell you why!" Inuyasha jumps on the trees to the well. He stands near the rim of it and looks down. 'This better work Kikyou.'

He jumps down the well and blue light surrounds him. He is taken to Kagome's time.

Inuyasha lands in the well and looks up. 'Why is it dark in here?' He jumps up and hits his head on the door above. "Shit!" He says as he falls back down, landing on his bottom. He jumps again this time claws at ready, and slices through the door.

He looks around and notices that he is in a room. Instead of destroying it, he walks out of the doors.

He steps out of the house and smells. 'Gods this place smells horrible!'

Kagome steps out of her house and checks that both of her shoes are on tight. "Bye mom, bye Souta! I'll be back at 6:00!" Kagome runs past Inuyasha then stops, dead in her tracks. She turns around and walks toward Inuyasha.

'That has to be her. I can sense her power.'

Kagome stands in front of Inuyasha and looks at him. "You are not from around here are you?" She asks Inuyasha.

Her attention draws to his dog ears. "These are sooooo cute!" She says as she grabs his ears and rubs them. Inuyasha knocks her hands away and says, "Surrender your miko powers woman."

"I am sorry I didn't mean to grab them it's just- wait, miko powers?" Kagome asks, "I don't know what you are talking about. Sorry, but I have to go so bye!"

"Wait woman!" Inuyasha yells.

"Sorry, but I do have to leave. I am in a hurry!" She yells back.

Inuyasha decides that he is going to follow her secretly to see how she uses her powers.

Kagome runs straight ahead on the sidewalk then turns and runs into a large building.

'That woman is faster than she looks' Inuyasha thinks as he runs after her.

People are staring at him as he runs down the street. "Mommy! Look at the weird man!" A little girl says to her mother, tugging at the bottom of her dress, "Shhhhhh! It is not polite to stare honey!" The mother answers back.

Inuyasha stares at the building Kagome ran into. 'This building is amazing.' 'It is so big!'

'But I can't lose her!' He thinks as he runs inside and quickly turns a corner as Kagome looks his way.

"Sorry I am late guys!" Kagome tells her friends as she starts walking farther off into the building.

'She does not seem to be using any powers at all!' 'Maybe I have the wrong girl?'

Inuyasha follows Kagome silently as she walks through the Tokyo Mall.

Kagome and her friends enter almost every single store in the mall.

'Gods why does she spend so much time here?! It smells horrible and it is boring.'

Kagome and her friends start to exit the mall, each of their hands are full of bags.

"I will call you guys tomorrow, ok?" Kagome tells them as she walks out of the mall. Her friends separate, walking different ways.

'Now I will get her.' Inuyasha thinks as he walks up behind Kagome.

He grabs her and pulls her behind a corner. "Eeeek!" Kagome screams in surprise.

"Be quiet woman!" Inuyasha says to her holding her mouth close.

Kagome nods. 'Oh great I was having a good day too!' She thinks.

Inuyasha releases his hand from her mouth and says, "I don't get it. I can feel your energy inside you, but you do not use it? Why woman tell me."

"I don't understand what you want from me. I did not do anything to you!" Kagome says.

"I told you to be quiet!" Inuyasha says covering her mouth again.

Now Kagome was getting mad. "Let go of me. Now." She says.

"Not until I know why you stole my love's power." Inuyasha says back.

"I don't know what you are talking about!" Kagome says anger rising in her voice.

Kagome starts to walk away from Inuyasha, but her grabs her and pulls her back to him.

"Let me go!" Kagome says in a loud voice. Her miko energy pulses around her and knocks Inuyasha over.

Kagome begins to walk off again. 'I wonder what just happened?' She thinks. 'I can't worry about that now. I need to get away from this man.'

Inuyasha gets up and follows her, but does not try to grab her again.

'That is definitely Kikyou's power.' Inuyasha thinks as he rubs his leg that he fell on.

"Why are you still following me?!" Kagome says in a loud clear voice.

"I already told you that!" Inuyasha says back.

"I don't know what you're talking about!" Kagome says as she takes off running.

Inuyasha follows her as she runs back to the Higurashi Shrine.

Kagome runs inside screaming, "Mom, Souta! Someone hide me!"

"Kagome what has gotten into you?" Ms. Higurashi says.

"Yeah Kagome you're acting weirder that usual." Souta says as he looks back from the T.V. screen.

"You don't understand!" Kagome says as she runs to the window, "There was a man following me and he grabbed me and I escaped and then I ran here!" Kagome points out the window to where she last saw Inuyasha before she ran inside.

"Kagome, no one is over there." Ms. Higurashi says.

"What do you mean?" Kagome says as she walks back over to the window.

Kagome looked out the window. Her mother was right, no one was there. Kagome started to worry. 'What is he is sneaking in our house right now?!' 'I have to check all of the windows and doors to see if they are locked.'

Ms. Higurashi saw her daughter's worried look on her face and went over to comfort her.

"Honey I am sure it will be ok. He probably just left after you ran inside. He is probably not smart enough to try to get in here."
