Before her knees was the young charge, still holding the bow out infront of her and still in aim. Her body began to shake as she lowered the weapon, her free hand coming to the ground for support. The girl still was looking in the direction of the bear, which gave Shizuri a good look at her eyes. A shiver ran down her spine as she stared into them. Devoid of any life, her dulled orb's moved to stare at her. Shizuri felt another shiver run down her spine, as those orbs stared at her. Shacked from the captivating eyes, she felt as Ryou put his hand on her shoulder.

"Amazing isn't it?" He questioned; his voice still in a state of shock.

"Yeah…" she dumbly replied back, moving towards the woman still knelt on the ground. The village had grown quiet since the youkai was slain by the kneeling woman, everyone still in shock by it.

Shizuri came to stand before the woman, her hand out for the girl's needs. An awkward moment past, and Shizuri was about to pull her hand back, when the girl reached out shakily and gave a tight grip. Shizuri helped the girl to her feet, and supplied support when she swayed. She gave no objection to being held up, and let the woman lead her back to the hut she had come from.

"You are the one who has taken care of me, are you not?" The woman questioned in almost a below whisper, no emotion what-so-ever in her throaty voice.

"Hai, I am the one who has. May-" pausing for a moment she considered asking, "May I ask your name?" She asked instead of what she originally had in mind.

The woman did not answer for a long while, and Shizuri was beginning to doubt she would.

"Kaoru…"She answered again in a hushed whisper.
Shizuri missed it for the volume of her voice had already begun decreasing. "I'm sorry; I did not hear what you said."

Swallowing hard, she took a deep breath before answering again, "Kaoru..."Saying as loud as her throat would let her. The woman nodded at her, and repeated the name once over. Kaoru half listened to what she said, her mind in a tangled web. Sure she had lied about her name, but to everyone but Naraku, Kanna, Kagura and her three children she was nothing but a rotting corpse and even now Naraku believed her dead, for he was the one who dumped her in the middle of the woods in the first place. She would be dead and nothing but a good meal for the wolves too, if she hadn't been discovered. She was thankful for that though, and now she was free from Naraku's grasp forever.

Her breathing was becoming laboured from the amount of stress that it took just to walk for her body, and using her miko powers had only supplied to drain the rest of her energy. When she was finally inside of the hut, and sitting on the futon again, she leaned forward and closed her eyes for a moment, allowing her breathing to calm.

"Are you alright? Do you need anything?" The woman asked with worry and concern in her voice. This made Kagome or Kaoru to raise her head, with slightly widened soulless eyes. It had been so long since anyone worried over her, or held a small amount of concern, though Kagura did show these things; they were easily erased when Naraku entered the room.

"Why?" She questioned in her low whisper.

Shizuri was shocked by her question and almost missed it, but could see that whatever the woman had been through she was never shown a once of care.

"Because no one deserves to die." Shizuri answered, knowing this was what she had meant.

"I would have been better off dead…" Kagome mumbled, a single tear falling from her eye.

"Don't say that!" Shizuri yelled, grabbing hold of Kaoru's shoulders, and forcing her eyes to her own. Kagome was taken back by what she saw. There were tears in the middle-aged woman's eyes and she had a very firm look on her face.

"Why do you cry, for one you do not know?" Kagome asked in her eerily calm and small voice.

Shizuri really didn't know why she cried for this woman, but her heart had already grown attacked to her. "Because no one deserves to go through life with no one who cares." She answered. When Kagome just nodded, Shizuri saw the look of fatigue pass over her features. "Lay down, you must sleep. You have yet to fully heal"

When she had lain down, her eyes shut slowly and the dream world came to capture her till the next time she awoke. Shizuri sighed before busying herself with making many different concoctions.

In a darkened meadow, surrounded by flowers and fireflies, a lone woman sat a hum slipping from her cherry lips. The widened moon shone above head casting its white touch to the sleeping world. As she picked the glowing plants from their grounded home, giggles echoed from around her. Two famine giggles took from behind, while a boyish laugh crept from infront of her. The children clad in complete white ran into site, laughing and smiling brightly. The boy with waist length wavy hair; that even put the night to shame for his locks were of the darkest black, and entangled a peering eye. His structure built to that of a young man, neither displeasing to the eye nor repulsive, you could see clearly the taut muscles that lay beneath the thin white haori he wore. With tanned skin that had almost a pale complexion to it, this only heightened his appealing features. His orbs pierced the staring eye, making the beholder swim in his crimson pools, for they looked like they would flow in rivers of blood. His smirk, cocked to one side, gleamed with the bleached white fangs that prodded from his lips. The boy stood regal and proud, his stance that of a lord.

He walked towards the lowered woman, coming to sit infront of her. Placing his hands on his crossed knees, he bowed his head low, and answered with a deep, "Konnichiwa, Okaa-san"

The woman's closed eyes opened and her stare of open shock and disbelief met his crimson depths. Her hums faltered and vanished into the shadows, while her calm stature fell. The two running girl's, came to a stop and ran to the boy's side. Each on one side, they both bowed, with a smirk on each reflective girl's face. "Konnichiwa, Okaa-san" They both said in unison. The girl's appearances though the same were opposite. The girl on the left had midnight flowing locks, her hair straight with the slight hint of a curl at the bottom of her waist length hair. Flowing to the side, this allowed her bangs to blow from her face and reveal her pale features. With her alabaster skin, her gleaming red lips stood present and assent her bright eyes. A crimson orb much like her brother's took place on the right, while on the left instead of crimson it was a stormy grey-blue. She was still young and had yet to mature, but you could see where the childish body had begun to curve into a woman's.

The girl on the right much the same, had wavy brunette locks that were nearly black. They were the same lengthy strands that reached to her waist, but were tipped in pure black. The wind shifted and so blew the girl's bangs from her tanned face, to reveal the same eyes that her sister beheld. Her eyes were both two different colours, a colour from each parent, but were switched from the other young girl's. And where there were red lips, there was pale pink. As the twins chose to stand, the older of the siblings peered behind his seated mother. A shiver ran up her spine, as she got the feeling of being watched. She gave her smirking son a fearful glance as she waited for who she new stood grinning behind her, to make himself known.

"So you are still alive. I would have thought the wolves ate you." Naraku laughed, walking to Kagome's side.

Kagome was paralyzed in fright, and could only watch as the hanyou placed his hand upon her shoulder. She let out a cry and winced when he dug his talons into her flesh, before retracted his entire arm away from her. Walking over to his children, he stood behind them, with a cold smirk on his face.

"It seems I can't get rid of you that quickly, now can I. No matter, this will serve quite amusing to me." Naraku bit out harshly, and adding a smirk for extra measures.

Tears were threatening to spill, as Kagome retreated on her hands and knees. Pushing herself away with fear gripping her stomach, she pushed herself to stand and ran.

"Stop her" Naraku commanded calmly, to his children. The boy leaped to his feet and took flight after his running mother, while the twins ran into the forest to cut her off, their laughs echoing throughout the sleeping night.

Kagome could hear giggles and laughs and refused to believe that her own children would come after her. Not denying the fact fully she sped her running up, her legs burning from the amount of energy it took. Even in her own dreams she was haunted and weak. Sobbing whole heartedly, she collapsed to the forest floor when Hikaru, Asano and Asuna stood not 5 feet away from her. Within only a matter of seconds Naraku stood behind them, placing his hands on Hikaru's shoulders.

"Leave with your sisters" Naraku ordered in Hikaru's ear. Nodding his head, he started to leave, tossing a hard stare to his sisters. They got the unspoken order and left along with him. The three children vanished as quickly as they appeared and left the two adults alone.

Shizuri stopped what she was doing when she heard Kaoru whimpering. Dropping what she was doing she rose to her feet, walking to the sleeping woman's side. As she reached a hand out, Kaoru started to toss violently, her arms swinging this way and that. Shizuri almost got hit, but ducked in time to avoid the blow. Reaching her hand out again, she dodged another swing before placing her hand on Kaoru's shoulder. Her movements ceased and her body went limp. With a sigh, she left to her chores, leaving the miko to sleep in peace-or so she thought.

Naraku had only to take a couple steps before he stood not an arm's length away. Watching as the woman swatted her arms in an attempt to rid him. Reaching out he placed his clawed hand on the sobbing miko's shoulder, which silenced and stilled her immediately. Bringing his other hand to rest under her chin, he lifted her head so that he could see her eyes.

"Did you really think you could get rid of me that easily? If I can't find you in reality I will simply take over your dreams until hand." Naraku informed her with his tantalizing smile.

"Please...Oh God no! ...Please, leave me alone!" Kagome begged, as she sobbed continuously.

Naraku only grinned wider, his fangs gleaming dangerously at her. Before she could utter another word, he snatched her by the neck and brought his fangs to the abandoned mark that lay between her neck and shoulder. As blood rose to the surface, Naraku savoured the taste of her sweet, enticing blood. Pulling back, he brought his mouth to hover over hers. With a breathy lust filled voice he moaned, "I have forgotten what your blood tastes like. Truly delicious." Licking his lips, he cleaned them of her blood. Kagome didn't even bother to struggle for she knew he had complete and ultimate power over her. Tossing her to the side, Kagome came in contact with a large tree. Letting out a pained yell, she fell to the ground on her hands and knees. Her lip had begun to bleed from when she bit it at impact. Naraku smiled and began to grow aroused at her suffering. Bringing his claws to tangle in her hair, he threw her onto her back.

"It seems you have aroused me already, my mate." He chuckled darkly, as he pinned her arms down. Lowering his head he devoured her lips with his, moaning at the taste of blood that dripped into his mouth from her bitten lip. Shredding her clothes, he spared no time, removing his massive erection from his hakama's. Letting go of her wrists he snatched her ankles, slightly digging his claws into the flesh as he brought them to rest on his shoulders.

Grabbing hold of his erection, he brought it to her opening and spared no mercy as he thrust painfully into her. He felt as blood slowly coated her walls, from his rough entree. Pulling almost all the way out, he slammed himself in even deeper and harder then before. Continuing to pound hard into her, he delighted and bathed in her screams. After many thrusts deeper into her, he came close to his release. Bringing his claws down to taint her lovely skin with her blood, and to bask in the scent and taste of it as he came, his talons came a mere inch away, before Kagome vanished. Growling in frustration, Naraku threw his claws to the ground, before smirking wide. He would wait for her return, for surely her body could not handle the stress to hold itself up for very long. So with that he fell into the shadows until her return.

Shizuri continued to shake the screaming girl from her dream, but it seemed that it was not working. So with one hard shake she yelled for her to wake up. Shizuri almost yelled in surprise when Kagome's eyes snapped open. Letting go of her, she backed up a bit to let her have some space.

Kagome didn't hear anything that Shizuri was saying but could only be horrified by this new discovery. Before she could contemplate on this anymore, she body started to throb in pain. Hunching over and grabbing at her stomach, Kagome squeezed her eyes shut, and clenched her teeth. Her body was in such agony, it felt as it she had not been in a dream at all, but actually there. When she felt something warm and wet, roll down her shoulder her eyes widened in fear, as she slowly brought it to where the mark on her neck was. Feeling the raised skin, and some sticky warmness her hand immediately came to rest infront of her eyes. There on her fingers was blood, and it was fresh too.

"No..."
