Kagome landed on the toilet seat with a thump. She held her chest with one hand, breathing heavily, as her other shaky hand held the pregnancy test. I'm not pregnant. She thought over and over again. Looking at the test she saw a simple blue negative sign. Looking at the box again to double check the result, she held her breath. Sure enough, negative sign equals not pregnant, while positive sign equals pregnant. And that was definitely a negative sign.

She dropped the things in the sink and put her head in her hands. A world of worry was just lifted off her shoulders. Taking a few deep, steadying breaths she massaged her temples, thanking God. Sure, she wanted kids, but not while she was 17 years old, still in high school, and not married.

After a few minutes, she stood up and gathered all the evidence of the pregnancy test. She threw them in a plastic bag and buried it beneath all the other trash. She stripped herself of her clothes and took a long shower, vowing to go to the woman's clinic and get some birth control first thing the next morning. Rinsing out her hair, she made a mental note to fill Inu Yasha in about this.

"What are you doing in here?" Rin's father asked angrily.

Sess shut the door behind him and stepped forward. In a deathly calm voice he said, "Mr. Tenseiga, we have something very important to discuss."

"I have nothing to discuss with you!" He snarled. "Now leave here before I have the police remove you!"

Sess stared the man down. "Fine. If you won't talk to me then I will talk to you. Stop ruining Rin's life."

The man spat angrily, "How dare you! I am doing no such thing! Rin is my daughter, and I love her more than you will ever know!"

Sess took another step forward. "Rin is my fiance. And I love her more than life itself. When she is in pain, my heart breaks. When she is angry, I fear for the one who pissed her off. When she is happy, nothing can bring me down. You rarely make her happy. She tries not to be angry with you because you are her father and she loves you. But you have no fucking idea how much pain you put her through."

Mr. Tenseiga glared at Sess. "What the hell are you talking about."

"You've ignored her for years, and when you finally decide to acknowledge her as your daughter, it's in the worst possible way at the worst possible time!" Mr. Tenseiga suddenly looked down. He sighed and rubbed his eyes. Sess took a deep breath. "Don't put her through this. You're asking her to choose between the two men that she loves the most. You can't ask her to choose."

Mr. Tenseiga looked up sadly. In a hoarse voice he said, "She already chose." Before Sess could say anything else, Rin's father picked up his briefcase and walked out of the office, still with that saddened look.

Sango turned over in her sleep, feeling something heavy across her body. Pulling herself from her slumber, she cracked open an eye to see her sleeping boyfriend next to her. She giggled and stretched. Sitting up and careful not to disturb him she pulled off her sweatshirt and tossed it on the floor. She laid back down beside him and gently traced the strong features of his face.

Miroku roused gently from his sleep and sleepily opened his eyes. He smiled when he saw her face and mumbled, "I could get used to this."

"Used to what?" Sango asked. She placed a gentle kiss on his cheek before pulling back.

He smiled warmly at her. "Waking up every morning to your face."

Sango blushed and smiled. She kissed his neck and whispered, "Me too."

Miroku shifted slightly and pulled her on top of him. Sango gave him a wary look and he chuckled. "Don't worry, I'm not trying to boink you right now. I just want…" He trailed off hesitantly and Sango stroked the side of he face.

"You want what?" She pressed gently.

He clasped his hands behind the small of her back and sighed. "I just want to look at you."

Sango blushed slightly. "What?"

He smiled. "I just… I'm the luckiest guy in the whole fricken world."

Sango giggled. "You aren't making any sense."

He chuckled. "I don't show you how much I appreciate you, Sango. I want to prove that I love you."

Sango dipped her head down and kissed him gently. "You don't have anything to prove, baby. I know you love me."

Miroku shook his head. "No, I want to show you." He sat in silence for a few minutes while Sango placed soft kisses along his chin. Suddenly, his eyes lit up. "I know!"

"What?" She asked curiously.

But he shook his head. "It's a surprise." Sango pouted and he laughed. "I won't tell you what I'm doing, but I'm going to make this the most romantic week ever. I'll totally prove how much I love and appreciate you this week." He grinned widely as a thousand and one thoughts ran through his head.

Sango shook her head, smiling. "Miroku, you don't have to do this. I-" He placed a finger on her lips and said, "But I want to."

She smiled again and laid her head on his chest. "Fine fine." Miroku chuckled again and gently stroked her back as he mentally planned his romantic week. Sango bit her lip and grinned. She was really looking forward to whatever it was that he had planned.

Sess left Rin's father's office in silence, wondering what was going to happen now. He got into his car and drove home. Inside his house he saw Inu Yasha walk into the kitchen wearing boxers and a wife-beater. Sess walked over to him and said, "Did you get Kagome pregnant?"

The question startled Inu Yasha, causing him to stumble over his feet and grab on to the wall for support. "What the fuck are you talking about!" He all but yelled.

Sess sighed. "When I was at the drug store, I saw Kagome. She was buying a pregnancy test. I figured, as your older brother, it's my duty to tell you."

Inu Yasha snorted. "Older brother my ass. Three minutes older!"

Sess shrugged. Either way, don't fuck up." He walked up the stairs to find Rin, leaving a fuming Inu Yasha.

Inu Yasha glared at his brother's retreating back for a second before running back to his room. He grabbed his car keys and ran down to his car, jumping in the driver's seat and speeding away to Kagome's house.

Kagome stepped out of her shower and wrapped a towel around her body. She walked into her room and began humming softly to herself as she picked out some pajamas. Not that the pregnancy worry was gone, she was beginning to really feel how tired she was. She yawned lazily, ignoring what appeared to be a loud yelling. Assuming it was Souta and his friends she kept her back to the door. Until, that is, Inu Yasha burst through and lunged at her, tackling her on the bed.

Inu Yasha had arrived at Kagome's house practically sweating bullets. When Souta answered the door he asked when Kagome was, but Souta just said that she was showering, so he'd have to wait. Inu Yasha yelled for Kagome and ran past the three boys and didn't hesitate to burst through her door. It was a bit of a shock to find her in a towel, but he just continued running at her, tackling her on her bed carefully, so as to not harm her or anything else that could possibly be inside her.

Inu Yasha looked down at Kagome looking anxious, while Kagome looked up at him looking confused. "Inu Yasha, wha-!"

"Are you pregnant?" He whispered.

She took a deep breath and looked into his eyes. "No." Inu Yasha sighed and leaned over so his head was in the crook of her neck. Kagome reached a hand up to touch the side of his face. "We need to discuss a few things, though."

Inu Yasha nodded and crawled off her body. He helped her sit up and said, "Call me later or something."

She nodded and kissed him gently. He hugged her tightly before walking out of her room to apologize to her brother and go back to his house.

Sess walked into his room to find Rin lying on his bed reading a book. She put it down when he walked in and sat up quickly. "What happened? Where did you go? What did you do? Is everything okay?"

Sess smiled and kissed her. He sat down next to her and said, "I went to go talk to your dad. Everything's fine. But I think that you should go home to talk to him. You two have a lot to discuss."

Rin sighed and nodded. "You're right."

Sess pulled her to her feet and took her down to the garage. He drive her back to her house and she kissed him before going inside her house. Sess drove off as Rin walked inside nervously. She found her father in the kitchen and she walked up to him, giving him a small hug. He hugged her back and said, "We need to talk."

Rin nodded and said, "But I'm tired right now."

He stood up and said, "We'll talk tomorrow when you're rested."

Rin walked out of the room and sighed. She didn't want to talk. But she knew that they needed it, and she wanted things to be okay between her and her father. She walked up to her room, changed into her pajamas, and did what her five friends were doing. Sleep.
