Chapter Sixteen

"So," the undead miko said, looking at the pained hanyou standing in front of her. "Inuyasha, you have come to see me?"
"Kikyou, I've decided, that after Naraku is defeated I will go to Hell with you," he said plainly.
"Is that so?" she asked, showing very little emotion through her mask. "And what about the child you are so fond of?" Inuyasha flinched.
"What about her?" he asked emotionless.
"I see," Kikyou suddenly smiled, which didn't look too appealing with her features. "All right then, but you will travel with me," she said and walked up to him. It looked as if she was going to embrace him, but they both knew it wasn't going to happen.
"Yes," he said coldly and turned away from her. He found a tree and sat in it. He took out his mother's book and started reading; it was the only thing that gave him comfort these days.

I watched them, feeling a slight pain of jealousy. I didn't know why I was felling that way. I was only seventeen. My master and his mistress were far older that I was. They lived together and had two children. Though, there was no love between them. It was arranged to get an heir. They were only supposed to have one child, but accidents happen, right?
The vision I had last night, really scared me. I was taking care of a hanyou child, whom I called 'son'. Was I really going to have a hanyou son, and who would the father? I still doubt my 'gift', and I still try to ignore it and tell myself that I can control my own life. However, it doesn't help that everything I've seen in my dreams has come true. I looked at my master and mistress again; their son was sitting next to her and their daughter sat next to him. I served each one of them their respective dishes.
"Siena," I herd his daughter say, which snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Yes, Kameko?" I asked, looking at the inu youkai.
"Come, sit with us," my friend said kindly. "You looked starved," she smiled. The hime was very kind to me, along with her father. However, her brother and mother loathed me. They were consumed in their own jealousy.
"I don't think-"
"Don't be ridicules," Kyo said laughing. "Come on," he patted the seat next to him.
"Um..." I could almost feel the coming blush coming to my face.
"Come," he said, and took my hand to pull me down. I was almost sitting on him lap. I knew that I was blushing, especially when he still held my hand.
"If you would, please excuse me," Kanami said and stood up to leave the table. The woman was always bitter to everyone, all but her son, Sesshomaru.
"Very well," Kyo waved his hand to her as she left. It looked as if he absolutely hated her. I glanced over to him, he noticed me looking at him and turned to me. My cheeks becoming redder, I looked away.
"Misato," he said to a youkai servant who appeared out of nowhere, she seemed to be the same age as my self.
"Yes, mi' lord?" she bowed slightly.
"Would you mind getting Siena-sama, a plate of food," he said. I stared at him, why did he just address me like that?
"Um..." I still stared at him.
"You know, you should learn to talk properly," Kyo said with a smile.
"Um..."
"Here you are," he said when my food was set in front of me.
"I'm finished," Sesshomaru said and stood up, not waiting for his father to excuse him. Sesshomaru was maybe only a year or two older than me. Him and his sister were two completely different people.
"I am as well," Kameko said. "Otousan, may I be excused?" she asked. I looked sharply at the nineteen year old youkai. Who in turn, only smirked at me.
"Yes," he said to his favorite and oldest child as she walked out of the dining area. He then turned his attention to me.
"Um..." I kept saying that and I didn't know why. I must have looked like a complete idiot. I stared at him, not wanting to look away, even when I knew my blush was still there, and not leaving anytime soon.
"Eat," was all he said, but still stared at me.
"R-right," I unconsciously put the food in my mouth. For the first time, I noticed how hungry I really was. After the first few bites, I became vaguely aware of Kyo looking at me as I shoved the food in my mouth.
"Siena?" he finally said.
"Yes Kyo-sama?" I asked patting my mouth with a beautiful embroider cloth.
"What do you think of me?" he asked. I looked at him sharply. His face suddenly changed from solid-hearted ruler to ordinary man.
"What?" I asked confused. What was he talking about?
"I want to know what you honestly think of me," he took my hand again.
"Uh..." I started. Should I really answer that question, without him getting the wrong idea? "I think that..." I thought and smiled grabbing his clawed hand slightly. "That you are very kind and gentle," I looked into his crimson and amber eyes. "Unlike your mistress," I finished bitterly, and then put my hand to my mouth after realizing what I had just said. I just insulted the queen, and could be put to death. "I'm sorry-" I started, but his arms wrapped around me tightly.
"Thank you, Siena," he said into my hair. I was beyond surprised, at what he was doing.
"Um...sure," I said, and embraced him too. We were like that until Kanami came in.
"Excuse me," she said, pure anger radiating off her. "The Zintacit requests your immediate attention. They say it's urgent," she finished and left with out another word.
"Right," he said and stood. His face took on its normal appearance. "Siena, why don't you go to your room and rest, you look tired.
"A-alright," I said and left the dining area. I went up the castile stairs and into my room. Where I would most likely get no sleep and think about what had just happened between my master and I.

"Master Naraku," Kagura said, retching her face in disgust at the site in front of her.
"What is it," the evil youkai said annoyed at being interrupted.
"If you would excuse your little sex toy for a moment," she spat with disgust.
"Taiga," Naraku said to the pail blue eyed youkai who was straddling his hips. Wordlessly, the said youkai stood up and walked away, but didn't leave the room. Kagura rolled her eyes.
"Kana as shown me that the other one's in danger," she said emotionlessly.
"Why didn't you help her instead of interrupting me?!" he said still not moving. The wind youkai smirked at the comment.
"I was not ordered to do so." Naraku sighed in frustration.
"Why do I keep you alive?" he asked seriously.
"I don't know sir," she had to keep from smirking.
"Taiga," he said again and the youkai stepped forward. "Go and return your sister."
"Yes master Naraku," the chilling voice said and she left he room. Kagura went to fallow.
"Kagura," Naraku said, making the wind youkai stop.
"Yes," she said as if not being fazed by his sharp tone.
"You have yet to show your loyalty to me in the past few weeks." Kagura said nothing in response. "I do hold your soul in my hands and can end you pathetic existence in an instant."
"Yes, I know," she said emotionlessly, though fearful for her life. Suddenly, there was a black ball of energy in his hand. Kagura's emotionless façade immediately disappeared.
"I see," Naraku observed. "You are afraid of losing your life, aren't you?" Again, the wind youkai said nothing. At that, he squeezed the orb, making her clenched her chest in pain until he let go. "I know about your treacherous and deceitful ploy, Kagura," the said youkai looked up in shock.
"Now leave me," he said suddenly and the black ball disappeared. "Next time you will die," he finished and the wind youkai left without a sound.

"I don't understand," Inuyasha said, arms crossed in his usual stance.
"It's exactly as I said," Terra said, successfully masking her satisfied smirk. "Kagome kissed me and tried to force her self on me."
"I don't believe you," Inuyasha glared at the earth youkai.
"Believe what you will," Terra shrugged. "But I know what I saw, and felt," she added on as an after thought.
"And why should I believe you?" Inuyasha asked, fear now over powering his senses. What if she was saying was true?
"You need proof?" this time Terra did smirk, though it went unnoticed by Inuyasha.
"Yes, give me proof, than I will believe you," Inuyasha responded.
"Very well," Terra said emotionlessly and walked over to him. Still looking him in the eye, she pulled down her cloak to revel a dark, bruise like mark on her neck. Inuyasha visibly gasped, Kagome as good as marked her.
"G-get away from me!" Inuyasha yelled out of pure jealousy. He struck Terra in the stomach, leaving very shallow claw marks. Then he ran into the forest, Kagome quickly behind him. Ignoring the pain, Terra hid behind a tree. With both of them emotionally weakened, they didn't notice that she was there. She was barely able to suppress the urge to laugh at the conversation. Things were going more than according to plan. When she saw Inuyasha run off, Terra walked back to the others.
"Terra," the earth youkai turned to see Miroku walk up to her.
"Yes?" she asked.
"Have you seen Inuyasha and Kagome-sama?" Miroku asked, noticing the small wounds on her stomach. Which obviously had to be from either Inuyasha or Kagome.
"I just saw them go that way," she said, pointing in the direction she just came in.
"Hum," Miroku didn't look away from her stomach until she walked away to sit against a tree with her eyes closed. Waiting.
"TERRA!" There it was, Kagome's yelling.
"That didn't take long," Terra said to her self. She opened her eyes to see the literally glowing Kagome. Pure white energy radiating off her. Everyone watched in awe or fear and unconsciously moved away, all but Terra.
"Terra," Kagome said again but calmly. Her discolored eyes were also the purest of whites. If it weren't for her suppression ring, the power would have most likely consumed her. Terra stood up and continued to smirk at the miko hanyou.
"Well, hello there Kagome. Have you come back for more?" the earth youkai taunted.
"You will pay for what you have done," Kagome yelled. In one quick motion she went after her, Terra barely dodged the attack. A large crater now occupied the place where she was just standing.
"I looks like you missed," Terra said to the emotionless looking Kagome. The said hanyou didn't say anything as she went to attack the earth youkai, this time almost severing her arm.
"You damn wench!" Terra said angrily, changing her expression and clenching her bleeding arm. At this, Kagome smirked coldly but still said nothing. She jumped in the air and started spinning, with the momentum she was going at, she landed a kick to Terra's chest. Sending the earth youkai flying back a few feet. As so as she hit the ground, Kagome sent dark violet energy towards her. After she was done, Kagome landed in front of her until she struggled to get up. When she did, however, the hanyou took her by the throat and lifted her in the air, smirking the entire time.
"Now, how will I torture you?" Kagome asked rhetorically. "I know, I'll take out one of your eyes." Terra visibly froze at this, but said nothing. With her other hand, Kagome dug her claw her left eye. Terra screamed out in pain as blood teardrops pored from her eye. Very slowly and painfully, Kagome tore the eye out. Her evil smirk didn't falter as she threw the bloodied orb over her shoulder.
"What else should I do?" Kagome asked again. "I'll rip out your tongue, therefore, you can never lie again in your life, which will indeed be very short."
"You fool," Terra spat smirking. "You don't understand. It matters not what you do to me, the out come will still be the same. You, and everyone you know will die. Naraku will take the jewel, then the prophecy will come into play and this world will perish-" the earth youkai was cut off when Kagome put her hand in Terra's mouth, and in out quick motion, her tongue was literally ripped out.
"Now you can no longer talk such nonsense," the inu miko said as she coughed blood on her face. "I think I'll kill you now, I've had enough." Kagome positioned her claw to go into Terra's chest, but than her hand was covered in ice.
"Unhand her," another female voice said from behind them. Everyone turned to look at the new intruder.

Well, because I took to long in the updates, I'll give you guys two chapters. Also, I won't be able to say thank you personally to you guys, but that doesn't mean that I don't love you. So enjoy the two chapters and let me know how you like them.
