Ch 9 Ok, this is really weird……

After Kagome had screamed Sesshoumaru's `stay' command, she promptly fainted in to Inuyashas arms. Sesshoumaru slowly returned to his feet as soon as the effects of the spell wore off and dusted himself off. He just stood there at the entrance looking from one person to the next as if to regard them until finally he settled his eyes back onto Kagome before speaking.

"You have quite the cleaver mate there, little brother." Sesshoumaru smirked. Inuyasha was at a loss for words for a moment, as was everyone else, but they were all thinking the same thing.

`This is very scary. Sesshoumaru…..The Great Demon Lord of the Western Lands, is smirking in front of us!?!'

Inuyasha held Kagome tighter to himself as he drew out his sword, which unfortunately couldn't transform into Fang because he was human at the moment.

"What the hell do you want now? If it's for the Tetsusaiga, you already know my answer. Don't you think you've caused enough damage for one day?"

As soon as Inuyasha was done talking, Sango and Miroku finally recovered enough from shock to not only pick up their mouths from the floor, but also readied their weapons. Kirara took the hint and transformed, ready to assist if needed.

Sesshoumarus voice was cool, calm and smooth as silk when he spoke.

"As I have already vowed to your mate and the Exterminator, no one shall be harmed in your group by me or anyone else for that matter, including you, little brother. And I, Sesshoumaru, always keep my word. Now stop being an ass and tend to your mate."

Inuyashas temper was now flying.

"Bullshit Sesshoumaru. There's no way in all of the Seven Hells, that we're about to trust anything you say. We're-" Inuyasha was cut off from yelling at his big brother when Kagome finally awoke. She nuzzled into his neck, taking comfort in his scent as she spoke.

"Inuyasha, I had a bad dream. I dreamt that Sesshoumaru was here in the hut with us….."

"That is correct Kagome. But it is not a dream. Now come, we need to talk now that you are awake. I have urgent-" Kagome couldn't believe her ears as she heard Sesshoumaru's voice speaking.

`It's not dream!!! But it has to be. He wouldn't be here among all these humans…….' Kagome thought to herself. Then she slowly turned around in Inuyashas arms and again, screamed. This time, she didn't pass out.

"KYHAAAAAAAA…..STAY, STAY, STAY, ST-" She had kept screaming the command over and over again until Inuyasha clamped his hand over her mouth. Kagome put up a good struggle to escape, but Inuyasha was still far stronger, even if he's human for now. Inuyasha was snickering to himself however, as he watched his big brother get flattened. He was highly enjoying himself when he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Inuyasha, I think you need to take Kaogme out of here. After today's events, she is in no condition for anymore stress and is in need of your full attention. Especially since she is with pup. Take her back to your room for now. It's obvious that Sesshoumaru intends to talk..blah, blah, blah……" Inuyasha tuned out the rest of Mirokus little speech when he was informed that Kagome was with pup. His pup.

`I'm going to be a father…. Can it be for real….Damn this pathetic body….I can't smell a thing……'

Inuyasha then pointed his sword at Sesshoumarus chest.

"I'm leaving now. Not because you said so, but only because I `trust' what my friends say and right now I need to take care of Kagome. Feh, If I wasn't stuck in my human form tonight; I'd shred ya first, and then question ya."

Kagome was still thrashing around quite furiously as Inuyasha was talking. It was apparent she desperately wanted to escape from there. But Inuyasha held her tight. It was then obvious to him, that right now Kagome was not in her right mind or she would have `sat; him and ran.

When Inuyasha was through talking with his brother, he placed his fingers at her neck and gently pushed. She went completely limp. With one last death glare at Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha turned and started to leave for their room to calm his frazzled mate, but stopped.

"Miroku, Sango, Kirara, Shippou and Keade. Keep a good eye on him. I don't wish to be bothered until morning. I'll deal with him then." Inuyasha had his back turned to them as he spoke.

"But Inuyasha….I want to comfort Kagome too." Whined Shippou as he hopped onto Inuyasha's shoulder.

"Not now pup. I'm all she needs right now. Now go and do as I asked. Help protect our friends ok."

With a quick kiss to Kagome's cheek, Shippou whispered into Inuyasha's ear.

"Hai Inu-Papa. I will do as you say. I'll protect them with my life."

Inuyasha grunted. "Now go. Your mama needs to rest." He whispered back. Shippou hopped off his shoulder and watched as Inuyasha entered their room.

"Sesshoumaru. Why have you come?" Sesshoumaru turned his gaze upon the old miko and pondered her question. He watched as she settled herself in front of the fire and stroked it before speaking.

"First, I, Seshoumaru, have a question for you miko. Is this the same spell that has a hold on my brother?" His voice held the faintest trace of curiosity.

"Hai. It is the same." Kaede answered.

"How does one remove such a spell? I can not take the rosary off no matter what. Why?"

"That is because you can not. Only the caster of the spell can do so."

`There's no way I'm going to tell him that any miko can remove it. No telling what he would do.' Kaede thought to herself.

"Now. Why have you come here?" The old miko firmly asked again.

"I have come to speak with you all. Things have changed. Some for the good, some not. But, I don't wish us to converse with out Inuyasha and Kagome present. As this mainly concerns them."

Everyone that was round the fire, looking at Sesshoumaru, became dumbfounded for the second time that evening as they, themselves, witnessed a smile upon his lips. Sesshoumaru's smile widened as he looked at each of their shocked faces.

"Is it really that hard for you to see that I, Sesshoumaru, am fully capable of emotions? Is it not my choice to display them as I wish? Good evening to you all." He then went over to the farthest corner of the hut and carefully took off his armor and set it against the wall. Sitting in the corner, he wrapped his tail around himself, and made himself completely at home.

"I suggest you all get some rest. It will be a long day on the marrow." With that said, Sesshoumaru closed his eyes to fall into a light sleep, leaving behind 3 humans and 2 full demons, shocked beyond any words at his behavior.

Inuyasha carefully and quietly back kicked their bedroom door closed. He then made his way to the futon and laid Kagome down. Then sitting on the edge of the bed, he leaned over to the little night stand and lit the candles that were on it. Inuyasha just sat there for a few moments looking at her peaceful face.

`Gods she's beautiful! I love everything about her; her scent, the way she walks, but especially her smile…..'

Inuyasha was silently thinking to himself when Kagome started to whimper. Her once peaceful face was now contorted with fear. Her head was tossing to and fro.

`Damn you Sesshoumaru. This is your fault for making her so scared.'

"Kagome…..hey, wake up….." Inuyasha whispered into her ear. She stopped, but hasn't opened her eyes yet.

" ……`yasha……" She softly mumbled out.

"Yes mate, I'm right here……come on…..open your eyes…." Inuyasha gently brushed some of her hair out of her face as he spoke. Inuyasha was starting to worry; nothing was working to wake her.

"Damn him!! I think she's in shock. He's so dead in the morning for doing this to her. I can't wake her up……what am I going to do…….? I think I need to get baba in here."

With that thought, he placed a gentle kiss to her forehead and left for the door. He walked to the end of the hallway and stopped. He looked around the room and noticed that Miroku, Sango and Shippou were a sleep. Then he took note that Sesshoumaru was quietly sleeping in the corner. That pictured scene was not what Inuyasha was expecting to see. But for now, there was no time to ponder the forming questions in his mind when Kagome laying unconscious on the bed.

"Hey, Kaede, I need to talk to you." Inuyasha called out in a hushed voice.

"Hai, Inuyasha. What is it?" A very sleepy old miko asked. She got up quietly and made her way to Inuyasha. Together they walked into the room and closed the door. Inuyasha walked to the bed and sat on the edge.

"I can't get her to wake up baba. I think she's in shock. I'm worried." Inuyasha whispered the last part of the sentence more to himself then anything, but Kaede still heard it. She walked over and examined Kagome.

"Inuyasha. You are correct. I am afraid that the day's events have taken their toll on her. She is in a deep state of shock. But, with some help on your part, you should be able to pull her out of it." Kaede got up to leave. As she neared the door she stopped when Inuyasha spoke.

"How baba? What can I do to being my mate back to me?" He looked at Kaede as he whispered and then looked back to Kagome, placing his hand back to her belly.

"Physical contact Inuyasha is what she needs. The more physical, the better……infact…….matting with her should bring her out of it. But, take your time. Caress her, talk to her. And then, when she does awake, see to it that she eats. We can't let anything happen to your pup, now can we?" Inuyasha shook his head slowly.

"I understand baba…..And thank you."

"Good evening to you Inuyasha." Kaede left the room to go back to bed. Inuyasha stared at the door for a good while before returning his attention back to Kagome.

"Physical contact huh…..I guess she is right…..hmm, matting with you is about as physical as we can get….." Inuyasha leaned over Kagome until they were nose to nose. Then gently, but firmly, kissed her soft lips, then licking her bottom lip. Kagome let out a very faint whimper, but didn't move any. Inuyasha was encouraged by the tiny sound and trailed small kisses across her jaw line and down her neck, to her cleavage. When he got to her clothing, he let out a frustrated grunt.

Sitting back up, Inuyasha started to slowly take off her clothes, all the while talking to her. When at last everything was off, he stopped talking to just stare at her naked beauty. He placed his hand back onto her belly and smiled to himself as he imagined her with a swollen belly that contained the pup they created from their union.

Inuyasha closed his eyes and let his imagination run wild for a moment as he saw in his minds eye, images of what their pup might look like. He hoped it might be a female. A daughter with her mothers eyes, ivory skin, gentle heart and spirit. But he really didn't care what it was. That won't really be discovered until about another month or so. With his demon senses as fine as they are, even for a half breed, he couldn't wait.

Slightly shaking his head to clear it of his musings, Inuyasha told himself it was time to get back to what was at hand; awaking his mate from her shocked state. Inuyasha decided to start with her lips. The kiss was gentle at first, but slowly started to grow. Licking them a few times, he trailed his tongue down her neck, to her chest and stopped between her breasts. Gently, Inuyasha cupped her right breast with his left hand while he slowly suckled the hardened peak and kneading her left breast. This time his actions had her not only whimpering a bit more, but she was now moving her head. An obvious sign that she was trying to wake up.

Relief flood through Inuyasha from head to toe.

"That's my girl…..come on Kagome……open your eyes for me……:" He kept his touch gentle on her breasts when he was talking and within a few moments, he was finally rewarded when Kagome's eyes fluttered open.

"INUYASHA!!!!! I'm so scared……" She quickly sat up and flung her arms around his neck and cried.

"Shhhh…..it's alright now. I'm not going to let anything happen to you two…..shhh….." He slowly stroked up and down her spine lightly with his claws for a while until her crying slowly came to a stop. She sniffled a couple of times before finally talking, though her voice was very quiet and meek.

"Inuyasha, please……I need you……" Gently Inuyasha pulled back to look into her beautiful eyes.

"I will always give you what ever it is you need…..always." He replied just as quietly as he claimed her lips in a kiss that was quickly turning into hungered passion. Laying her back down onto the bed, Inuyasha had his clothes off and kissing her neck in about a second. Kagome moaned loudly as he made his way down her chest again and suckle her right breast.

"Please……Inu-chan, I need to feel you in me….." Kagome pleaded in a breathless voice. Inuaysha then placed a kiss onto each breast, then shook his head.

"Not yet my mate….." Inuyasha leaned back up and drew her into another passionate kiss while his left hand slid down ward to the junction of her legs. Easing her legs apart with his knee and cupped her womanhood. Gently, mindful of his claw, inserted his index finger into her tight passage. Immediately her walls tightened around his digit.

"Oh Gods…..so tight….." Inuyasha groaned out. His manhood was screaming quiet painfully at him to take her. Finally, after a few minuets of some foreplay, he just couldn't take it anymore.

"Kagome, are you ready?" Inuyasha whispered into her ear.

"Onegai….I need you in me now…..The ache is too much." Kagome begged, thrusting her lips to match the thrusts of his finger in her.

"With pleasure, my mate." He then slowly removed his finger and licked it clean. Nudging her legs open wider, he placed his aroused tip at her entrance for a brief second and then seated himself all the way to the hilt. Kagomes ragged moan echoed the room. Inuyasha silenced her by taking advantage of her opened mouth with his, thrusting his tongue in and out of her mouth, mimicking what his hardened member was doing. Their climax came quicker then they thought and screamed into each others mouths.

His arms began to shake, so he rolled off to the side as to not squish her with his weight. He carefully tucked very tired Kagome up against himself as he spooned her back. He didn't close his eyes until Kagomes breathing evened out. Then, before he too, finally gave into sleep, he placed his hand to her belly, just below her navel and then fell a sleep dreaming of what their pup would look like.

When both their breaths evened out, Sesshoumaru opened his golden eyes and was smiling an honest to goodness smile.

"Well done, little brother. Kagome surely has tamed your wild spirit and soul. Just as Rin has done with me.
