They were walking down the hallway that would lead them to the band's room. Kagome looked over to Sango. The girl seemed cool and collected. Kagome, however, was nervous as hell. Her whole body was shaking, her palms sweaty, and her heart was thumping against her rib cage.

`Just be cool Kagome. They're just regular people that just play in a band, even though they're rich and famous, no sweat. Don't freak out,' Kagome told herself over and over.

Sesshomaru stopped in front of a door and Kagome nearly walked into him, but thankfully stopped before she did it. He turned around and glared at them. “Don't do anything foolish,” he said in that cool tone of his. He went back to the door and opened it.

When the cousins walked in after the manager did, they were quiet. What should they say to the band? How should they act?

They walked more into the room. Miroku, Koga, and Shippo were sitting on a couch against a clean white wall. Kagome looked around. Where was InuYasha? Then she spotted him. He was sitting in a loveseat in the corner away from his band mates. He had a somber scowl on his face.

This is Sango and Kagome. You boys better behave yourselves,” warned Sesshomaru and walked out the room, leaving the young people behind.

“Hello, I am Koga, but I guess you both already know that,” said Koga as he smiled at the girls.

“Wow, you know great English!” complemented Sango.

Koga smiled at her and stood I front of her. “Thank you. I was a foreign exchange student when I was seventeen six years ago in Massachusetts. Sadly, Miroku doesn't know English, Shippo speaks little, and InuYasha can speak it as well as I. Well, he should since he's half American and half Japanese.”

Kagome looked at InuYasha. He didn't even say anything at what Koga said. Maybe he's used to it? She decided to walk over to him and sit next to the gloomy singer.

When she sat down, InuYasha didn't even budge to move to make some more room for her.

“Hi, I'm Kagome, you did a great performance tonight,” she said with a sincere smile. InuYasha didn't reply. Kagome started to fidget and laid her hands on her lap. She bit her left upper lip. She looked at him again. His eyes were cast away into the distance.

Kagome started to look around. Sango was sandwiched between Koga and Miroku. She started to speak in Japanese for Miroku's sake. Kagome could see Miroku's hand across Sango's shoulder. Sango didn't seem to care. Shippo started walking towards her.

“Um, I don't know much Engrish. Can you speak in Japanese?” he asked.

Yes!” replied the girl.

Shippo smiled. “I'm sorry that our singer is in such a pissy mood. He's been like this ever since that bitchy actress dumped him.”

After Shippo said that, Kagome saw InuYasha twitch. Shippo didn't seem to notice and if he did, he didn't show that he had.

Kagome chuckled. “It's OK. I understand. You guys did a great performance tonight. Are you guys still touring America?”

Thank you. Yeah, we still have to go to Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Florida, Texas, and California. After that, we go back to Japan,” Shippo replied.

The girl nodded her head. “Well, I hope you much success on the remaining performances.”

Shippo grinned. And excused himself to go to the bathroom. Kagome took a deep breath and started to talk to InuYasha in English. “I know that breakup was very hard for you InuYasha. I can tell by the way you are acting and how you wrote your songs. Even your performances show it. But don't you think your band mates are getting tired of it? I'm not telling you to hurry up and get a life…wait that sounded wrong. Let me rephrase this, um, what I'm trying to say is, everyone here is concerned about you, I know they are. They want you to be you again. Take your time on having your heart healed again. We have to go home anyways, so bye and good luck on your upcoming performances. Sango we should go.”

Sango looked her cousin's way. “Yeah, sayonora and arigato!”

Kagome stood up and started walking off.

“Thank you.”

She stopped and turned around. InuYasha was looking at her. His brown and violet mixture eyes were clear. Everyone in the room was quiet and looking at the couple.

He continued, “You seem so understanding, even though you don't know me personally. Thank you.”

Kagome smiled and turned around. Then she felt something being put in the back of her jeans pocket. She turned her head and she saw InuYasha still seating in the loveseat. `What just happened?' she questioned herself. She shrugged it off and followed her cousin out the door.

Remember to call me Sango my love,” Miroku called out. He smirked as Sango kept on walking. He knew that she was blushing.

They passed Shippo as he walking down the hallway and they said good-bye to each other.

Why are you leaving?” he asked.

We have to be home by midnight and it's already quarter after eleven. That's our usual curfew,” replied Sango.

Then they walked past Sesshomaru and they didn't say anything to each other. Before they went to the exit doors, Rin say good-bye and so did Darrell.

They walked to the parked car and started going home.

As Sango was driving home, Kagome asked, “Now Sango, what was Miroku talking about?”

Sango blushed. “Well, he gave me his number.”

Kagome squealed. “Are you serious? Are you going to call him?”

Sango straightened herself. “I don't know yet.”

Kagome giggled. She said `yet.' That could possibly mean, to Sango, that she will call him.

Sango dropped Kagome off and left. The tired girl walked to the door, up the stairs, and into her room. She wasn't going to bother to take her make-up off. She can get it off in the morning. She took her pants off and she saw something white poking out of her back pocket.

Kagome grabbed it and took it out. It was a piece of paper folded up into a square. She unfolded and it had InuYasha's name and number.
