A/N : I know, I know. I haven’t updated in so long. But in my defense I’ve had so many things going on around here. Starting with the end of the school year and making sure all my make up work was in. Then my Grandparents came into town, and then My step dad and I went down to Missouri to pick up a puppy!! All of this plus packing for the new house we’re building. Lately I have been watching the pup all day and night so I haven’t had a chance to be on the computer. So yesterday I had a streak of inspiration and I just went with it. I know that the chapter maybe short but I plan on typing up another one right after I post this. Please bear with me.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

“ It looks beautiful Sango- Chan.”

“You sure Kagome? Nothing’s out of place?”

“Nothing at all. Everything is as it should be. Why do you not like it? We could always find something else.”

“No, no! It’s beautiful. It’s just, well… you think it will look good? I mean for the wedding and all?” Asked Sango shyly dropping her gaze to the carpeted floor.

“Sango.” Kagome said softly coming towards her and lifting her head gently, “He’ll love it. He would have to be crazy not to think so. Any man would be crazy if they didn’t think that you look beautiful.” Kagome said with a smile. Sango’s eyes got big and filled with salty tears of joy.

“Arigatoo, Kagome Chan.”

The girls left the Bridal store with the dress. Taking extra care, they walked out to the metro train and boarded the first train that came. They got off on the street closest to Kagome’s House.

The girls were wearing the fashion of Kagome’s time. Kagome was decked out in some low rise bell bottom jeans that had a subtle flower design down the right leg and left pocket, a light blue tank top that had a beaded “v” neck line, along with a blue gemstone necklace in the shape of a flower. Her hair was pulled back into a messy pony tail. Sango was wearing faded bell bottom blue jeans, a light weight off the shoulder top that had a bohemian pattern in all shades of pinks and purples. Her hair was also worn up in a pony tale. They both wore tennis shoos. Kagome had treated Sango to a girls day out a few weeks ago so that she would have some cloths of her own to wear while she was here shopping for her wedding. It was odd at first to explain exactly what some of the cloths were, but Sango caught on quickly.

**Flash Back**

“Kagome- Chan, what are these for?” Sango asked while picking up a pare of bikini cut panties with little designs of stars in different colors. Kagome turned around from the table she was looking at to see what Sango was interested in this time. She saw the panties in her hand and the perplex expression on her face. Kagome snickered and almost started to have a giggle fit.

“hahaha, those are panties Sango.” she said while she came over closer to the girl. “You wear them over your butt. You know like a dipper for a baby, but made for people so that you don’t have any messes in your cloths. Like your pants and skirts and stuff. They’re very comfy. Plus they’re just so pretty and cute!” Kagome explained.

“Oh! I see.” said Sango. Then her expression changed to a questioning look again. “Kagome? What do you wear when you have that time of the month then?” Sango asked her, her face reddening with embarrassment at her shy question. Kagome giggled again.

“We have things that help. I’ll show you in a little while, ‘Kay? I promise.” Kagome said with a small smile on her face. Sango’s face lightened and then she turned around and found a bra. She examined it for a minute and then asked Kagome about it.

“Kagome? What is this for?” Kagome once again turned around.

“Oh that. That’s just a bra. You wear it to support your breasts.” she so bluntly put it. “Some of them are fancier than others. Same with the panties. Some have lace and are good support. Some are push ups, some are training (for the younger girls), some are for when you play sports, and some are made to make you look like your breasts are the size of coconuts that are smooshed together.”

“How can you tell which are which?” asked Sango.

“Well… by the way they look I guess. Like the ones that have no padding what so ever to them and have “x” backs are for sports. Ones that clip in the front that the string can come closer to your liking are normally to make your boobs look big. And the ones that clip in the back and have a standard “v” neck shape and have a bit of padding are for every day wear. They can be comfy or not depending on how you like to wear them. Personally I feel better in one. Like the standard type. It makes them stay in place and when we’re running around all the time it doesn’t hurt really. Plus they tend to be really sexy. But the panties and bras that match and have some really fancy designs on them, like lacy and silky and some on, are called launderette . They’re normally for married couples, or newly weds. If you would like we could go and find you some. I’m sure it would be nice to have. Though it is all your choice.”

“I’m not sure. Maybe later. We still need to get some other things first. Plus I don’t want you wasting all this money on me.”

“Don’t be silly. I’m happy to do this. But if you really don’t like the idea of my spending all the money think of it as a wedding gift.” Kagome said with a smile.

~ Later that same day ~

“Ok. So we’ve gotten you some pants, skirts, dresses, shirts, bras, panties, socks, and shoos. What else would we need??” Kagome thought out loud. “Aw! We still need to get you accessories and beauty products!” Sango stared at her.

“More?! Kagome, are you sure. You’ve spent so much money as it is already. I don’t want you spending all your money on me.”

“Don’t worry Sango. It’s ok, I told you don’t worry about the money. I’m glad to get you these things.” Kagome said again with a smile planted on her face.

The girls walked into a store for everything. You could buy food, cloths, accessories, and even electronics. Kagome held some on Sango’s bags for her as they walked through the store. Kagome did the leading again. This time towards the left front of the store entrance. Soon you saw isles of nothing but shampoos and conditioners, make up, and hair brushes and hair things.

Kagome started down the isle with all the hair necessities. First grabbing a brush with a purple and silver handle. Then placed it into the basket she grabbed at the front of the store. She then grabbed up a variety pack of scrunches, head bands, and other little hair things such as chopsticks and clips. Sango even found a few other things that she liked and placed them in the basket as well. They hen made their way to the shampoo and conditioner isle.

“Here are some good products. They make your hair shiny and strong. They’re my personal favorite. They come in all these different scents as well. Find one you like. And don’t worry about costs.” Sango looked through all the different names of the bottles. Some were strawberries, others were coconut. She stopped at one labeled tropical. She picked it up.

“Kagome? How am I able to see if it smells good?”

“Oh, just undo the lid and smell it. Don’t worry people do it all the time. The stores don’t mind.” Sango looked at her wondering if it was true. But decided right away that Kagome wouldn’t tell her to do something that would be wrong. She undid the lid’s top and smelled the sweet sent. It was like pineapple, mixed with jasmine, and the smell of rain. It was so sweet and relaxing.

“I like this one Kagome.” Sango said letting Kagome smell the sent as well.

“Ummm….. That smells great.” Kagome said while closing her eyes. “It makes my mouth water.” They added both the shampoo and conditioner of that sent into the basket. They then moved on to the make up. Kagome got some things for herself, though she normally doesn’t bother with make up she still likes to wear it when she has time. She picked out a soft crayon like eye liner in black, some pink tinted lip gloss, and some eye shadows varying of different shades and amount of shine and sparkle. Most of her color choices were purples, blues, and browns.

Sango looked up and down the isle. Picking out anything that might look good. She chose some lip gloss that was a more natural looking and a pink tinted one as well. She also picked out a few eye shadows that were pink, blue, and purple. She knew most of when the make up would have been back from her era. Though she was curious about a lot of it, she figured that if she would ever need it Kagome would tell her what it was and would show her how to use it.

“ Found everything you need from here Sango?” Kagome asked.

“Yeah I done.” she replied walking towards her and placing her choices into the basket. They then went down another isle. This had all the girl necessities. Sango looked at all the funky packages.

“Kagome, what are all of these things?”

“Pads and tampons.” she replied.

“What are they for?”

“Remember how you had asked me about that time of the month, what we do for it?”

“Yes.”

“Well this is what we use in this era. See the pads you just take the back paper off and place the pad on your panties and you wont have to worry about any leakage. Some of the pads have wings for extra enforcement.”

“What are, tamp-ons?”

“they’re similar. But they can be painful. See you have to well… you sort of have to place it in your… sensitive area. This way you wont need a pad. You can go swimming and stuff with out having to worry too much about people knowing that you’re bleeding.” Kagome said fighting for the right words to use.

“Oh.” was all Sango said.

They got all the other things they might have needed from that store and went home for the day after that.

**End flash back**

As the girls neared the house a familiar voice caught their attention. They both stopped short of Kagome’s steps and turned their heads to see who the voice belonged to. They found a teen aged boy dressed in lose deep blue cargo jeans and a tight fitting black tank shirt. His fiery red-gold hair was worn in a high pony tail. His skin was a warm and creamy looking in color. His eyes were an astonishing brown- gold color.

“Hello. I’m sorry but do I know you?” asked Kagome in a polite voice.

“Sorry, how rude am I?” came his silky soft voice. “My name is Ronin.” Both girls stared at one another. They couldn’t place the name. “I am the head of Lord Sesshomaru’s army. I have come here to find Inu-Yasha. I heard of a young Minko who traveled with him. I heard she smelt of Sakura Blossoms and Jasmine.” he went on saying after seeing their faces.

“You’re Sesshomaru’s head guard?!” asked Kagome shocked. She then noticed that his ears wear pointed and cursed herself for noticing earlier.

“Then you know of my Lord?” he replied.

“Well… I guess you can say that.”

“You are Kagome then?” he asked.

“Yes, and this is Sango, she also travels with us. Along with both Shippo and Miroku.” Kagome replied again politely, but she now had so many questions for him.

“I believe that it would be best if we were to speak in a more privet place.” Ronin said.

“Oh! Right!” Kagome said just realizing that they were still in the open out in her era. They then made their way up the stairs and into Kagome’s house.
