The Beginning of the End
Chapter 1
“ Kagome!” inuyasha hollered.” lets go already”
“ I’m coming. Hold on!” kagome called back. ‘one more pull and...yes! I got it! ‘
She thought as she zipped up her book bag and ran down stairs where inuyasha was
waiting.
“ why do you always bring so much stuff?” inuyasha asked frowning.
“ well, most of my ‘stuff ‘ is medicine. Would you rather die?”
“ what happens if one day we get stuck in the well and can’t get out?”
“ first of all, we have to get the bag in first and if we see that it doesn’t fit,
then we put some things into a different baagg!!!!!” kagome yelled as she fell into the well.
Inuyasha grabbed her hand and toppled in after her.
On the other side, kagome was on top of her bag and inuyasha was on top of her.
“ are you alright?” he asked her pulling her to her feet.
“ yea, thanks for trying to catch me. Good thing I landed on my bag.”
“Yea, I guess it has it’s uses after all.” inuyasha said as he hauled kagome out and grabbed her
bag from the bottom of the well.” we better get going I’ve been go a while the might wonder
where we are.
“ yea, get ready for miroku’s perverted mind to pop into play.
Knowing him he might just suggest some things, if you know what I mean.”
kagome said as the walked into the village.
Inuyasha didn’t say anything till they were outside kaede’s hut.
” yea I understand what your saying. “
they walked into the hut and just as they suspected,
miroku was sitting next to sango and opened his mouth when they saw them.
” well well well isn’t it the two missing people. Where were you,
hiding in the bushes somewhere?”
Sango slapped him at that remark. “ miroku “ she sighed.
“ only your one tracked brain would think that. Look at kagomes bag,
it must have taken a while to pack so leave them alone. Sometimes you can be so stupid.”
“ sorry sango. Will you forgive me? (hehe)” miroku asked moving closer to sango.
“ oh no, ill forgive you. IF ,and only if, you don’t touch me.”
sango replied raising her arm to ward off miroku’s hand, which was inching closer to her.
Miroku pulled away ,defeated .” all right sango I wont touch you. ‘for now’
he thought.
“Kaogme!!!!” shippo cried walking into the hut with kaede close behind.
” I missed you so much!!! inuyasha hit me a lot while you were gone!”
he said in his whiney, childish voice.
“ he did he? Inuyasha...” she said in a sweet but innocent voice as she turned around.
She was surprised to find inuyasha standing rather close to her.
“ you say ‘IT’.” he said placing his hands on her shoulders. “ your coming down with me.”
‘ damn, finally got himself a brain’ “ who said I was going to say IT?”
she asked taking his hands, which were quite warm , gently off her shoulders.
“ I know that look on your face, and the way you said my name.
Don’t give me that ‘ im so innocent ‘ look.
“ but, but,” she started, her eyes getting tearful.
“ I wasn’t going to even say that! She protested “ ‘ tears’ starting to spill over.
“ oh no you don’t! I ain’t falling for that trick.”
he said as he turned around and walked towards the door... doing exactly what kagome wanted him
to do.
“SIT BOY!”
Inuyasha fell face first into the floor. He slowly sat up ,
muttering something under his breath, which sounded like several cuss words.
He looked up at kagome with a mixture of anger and sadness in his voice
“ why did you do that?” he asked.
“ because you hurt me.” shippo said, sticking out his tongue at inuyasha.
“ plus she don’t like you at all.”
“ now shippo, that’s not entirely true.” kagome said nervously. “ inuyasha’s my friend too...”
“ what’s that saying your always commenting on? Friends don’t hurt friends is it?”
inuyasha growled.
“ well if you weren’t such an...”
“ as much as I would love to sit here all day and listen to you two whine like little puppies.
“ inuyasha growled at this “ why I ought ta..”
“inuyasha....SIT!!!” Again inuyasha fell face into the floor.” continue sango.”
kagome said pleasantly while inuyasha growled from the floor.
“ as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted . We ought to get going to the village
where there was a problem with a demon, there might be a jewel shard there.
We’ll tell you more about it on the way there kagome.”
sango said as they stood up and gathered their things and left.

“ every thing is running smoothly I take it?” naraku questioned.
“ yessssss my lord, everything is going according to plan. “
hissed yoshiko, one of narakus faithful servant.
“ verry good, once he arrives, kill him. Then find the shards,
they shouldn’t be too hard retrieving them from th girl ‘ even though she is kikyo’s reincarnation’
“ yessss my lord, whatever you wisssh. “ yoshiko bowed, he turned and exited the room quickly.
Naraku took out his fragment of the jewel. “ that nuisance of a girl has a great amount of shards, after getting hers it shouldn’t be that hard to find the rest. kagura !”
“ yes my lord?”kagura said, appearing out of the shadows.
“ go and see if you can find any more shards.”
“ yes my lord.” kagura turned and vanished
