Ch. 5 Uninvited Guests

 

“You sure you do not wish to share with me” asked Sesshoumaru. “Yeah sorry just not yet” said Kagome. “That is fine” said Sesshoumaru licking Kagome's neck.

 

When Kagome looked up to see what he was doing he kissed her on the lips. When they broke apart Kagome hugged Sesshoumaru and said “Im so glad I met you”.

 

`I can not help her if she dose not wish to talk' thought Sesshoumaru closing his eyes. Then after a few minutes passed Sesshoumaru heard her heart rate slow down and found she was sleeping. `She must not be sleeping well' thought Sesshoumaru. Kagome woke up when she hit the ground.

 

“Ouch” said Kagome opening her eyes to see that she was in her room now on the ground. `How did I get here' wondered Kagome. She had flashbacks from last night. `Oh I guess I have a date tonight' thought Kagome smirking. `I'll take a shower later' thought Kagome changing into her swimsuit and walking downstairs.

 

When she got into the living room she found Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru in a deep conversation. “Im going swimming” said Kagome walking out leaving both boys looking in her direction. “We can discus this later” said Sesshoumaru getting up. “My thoughts exactly” said Inuyasha also getting up.

 

Kagome made it to the pool making sure to take her dear old sweet time getting there. She got up on the diving board and jumped but she didn't hit the water. “Huh” wondered Kagome opening her eyes to see that she was on the lawn where she was doing gymnastics only a few days earlier.

 

“Hey” said Kagome standing up. She walked back to the pool to see both boys were swimming. “Ok” said Kagome.

 

Just then Sesshoumaru's cell rang and he got out and answered it. “Hello” said Sesshoumaru. “Hello son in law” said the voice.

 

“I thought you were going to stop calling” said Sesshoumaru in an annoyed tone. “No, so I heard that you have 2 new room mates” said the voice. “And” asked Sesshoumaru getting mad.

 

“Im going to come over to visit around lunch time” said the voice. “No” said Sesshoumaru. “See ya then” said the voice as it hung up. “Grr…” growled Sesshoumaru. “What's up” asked Kagome after Sesshoumaru almost broke the glass table when he set down the cell.

 

“Ryen's coming over” said Sesshoumaru. “Oh god anyone but him” said Inuyasha groaning. “Who is he” asked Kagome. “Our uncle” said Inuyasha. “So what's bad about that” asked Kagome.

 

Both boys just looked at her, she could have sworn that Sesshoumaru rolled his eyes; Inuyasha just shook his head while rolling his eyes. “Ok guess I'll find out later, when is he coming over” asked Kagome. “In 20 minutes so we need to get changed” said Inuyasha who was secretly listening in on Sesshoumaru's conversation.

 

“Ok then” said Kagome running up to her room to change with Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru close behind. They all went to there rooms to change until Sesshoumaru walked into Kagome's room and started to talk with her.

 

Kagome was on the other side of the wall dividing the 2 parts of the room. “Hey Sesshy what does Ryen have to do with you I know he's your uncle but why do you hate him so much” asked Kagome. “After our father died he just appeared in our lives we never met him or even knew he existed until he showed up on our doorstep one day demanding entrance to this house he claimed was his” said Sesshoumaru in a very annoyed tone.

 

“I see” said Kagome stepping out wearing a green tank top that stopped at her belly button and she was wearing jeans with rips in the knees and one around the bottom.

 

Sesshoumaru looked over her attire with wonder but followed her to the living room. “Looks like he let himself in” said Sesshoumaru rounding the corner.

 

Kagome walked down to the living room where she saw a man sitting on the couch reading the newspaper. When he looked up Kagome had to do a double take. He looked almost exactly like Sesshoumaru! Well except he only had one streak on the sides of his face instead of two and he had no crescent moon and the streaks were maroon not purple.

 

“Hello” said Ryen setting down the newspaper and standing up. “Hey” said Kagome walking down the steps and standing next to Ryen. “Im Ryen and you are” asked Ryen. “Im Kagome” said Kagome smiling.

 

“Yeah so where's the other trouble maker” asked Ryen scanning the living room. “In his room changing I think” said Kagome. “I see” said Ryen. “So what do you do for a living” asked Kagome. “Im a cop” said Ryen pulling out his badge. “That's so cool, hey Sesshoumaru why don't I know him” asked Kagome. Sesshoumaru just growled.

 

Kagome laughed as she flopped on the couch. “Why did you decide to come out here now” asked Kagome. “I don't know I haven't seen this place in awhile and I heard that Sesshoumaru here had 2 other people living with him, I had no idea one was a girl” said Ryen acting amazed.

 

“Yeah something out of the ordinary but we have been friends since high school and when things got a little hectic with my family he let me move in, right after that it seems Inuyasha showed up on our doorstep” said Kagome. “Figures you sure living with 2 men is to your liking I must be kind of messy around” said Ryen.

 

“Actually it's cleaner then my apartment and Im fine with the two boys thought most of my friends are jealous that I live here now” said Kagome. “I would guess so, living in a manner is kind of special” said Ryen.

 

Sesshoumaru just gave a death glare to Ryen and listened to there conversation. “So do you enjoy living here” asked Ryen. “Yeah why” asked Kagome. “Well I know that my nephews aren't exactly the easiest people to get along with” said Ryen. “They seem easy to get along with to me” said Kagome she could practically feel Sesshoumaru breathing down her neck.

 

She shook off the feeling and listened to Ryen. “I see, I must return to work now but Im glad I got to meet you, I hope I can visit again soon” said Ryen flashing a smile. “Ok that would be great, see ya” said Kagome letting Ryen out.

 

“That wasn't so bad” said Kagome. “I beg to differ” said Inuyasha walking down the stairs. “Why he seems nice enough” said Kagome. “Didn't you get annoyed that he was asking you so many questions” asked Inuyasha. “No not really” said Kagome.

 

“Ok you are different, most people can not stand him, surprisingly he does have a serious side to him” said Inuyasha. “Wow, so what now” asked Kagome. “Our date, get changed we are going at 1” said Sesshoumaru.

 

“But its 12 now” said Kagome. “And” said Sesshoumaru walking to the study. “Hey Kagome would you uhhh… wanna go out with me tomorrow night” asked Inuyasha blushing.

 

“Sure” said Kagome smiling and skipping upstairs to take a bath.

 

After Kagome was done she wrapped herself in her green Fluffy towel and remembered that Sesshoumaru hadn't told her how to dress. She walked to the other door and knocked. When she didn't hear anything she opened it and walked into Sesshoumaru's room. Sesshoumaru was sitting on the bed watching TV and looked at Kagome.

 

“Do you enjoy teasing us by only wearing a towel” said Sesshoumaru.

 

“Maybe” said Kagome slyly walking over to the edge of the bed and striking a sexy pose. She could have sworn that Sesshoumaru's eyes doubled and she had to resist the urge to laugh.

 

“What do I have to wear for today” asked Kagome. “Comfortable” said Sesshoumaru looking at the TV to try and resist taking her right then and there.

 

Kagome just giggled and leaned over his lap so her head was hanging off the side of the bed. Sesshoumaru just stared at her weird and went back to watching TV.

 

“Thank you” said Kagome sitting up and staring him right in the face. Sesshoumaru kissed Kagome in a hope that was what she wanted.

 

He was right as always after the kiss she went back to the bathroom and changed. `It's not even spring and I have such a big infatuation with her' thought Sesshoumaru shaking his head. Kagome got back in the bathroom and leaned against the door.

 

`Ok I can't take this much longer I need to decided so that for one they don't tear me apart when spring starts and so I can finally show someone that I can love' thought Kagome walking into her room and getting changed into comfortable clothing.

 

When she was changed into a green tank top and black capris she walked downstairs. Inuyasha looked at her weird and said “won't you freeze going out dressed like that”. “No did you come from America, in the winter it's like 80 degrease and it doesn't snow unless it's the beginning if you haven't figured that out yet” said Kagome laughing.

 

“Well for one yes I did come from America we moved there when I was 9 and I have figured out it never snows” said Inuyasha going back to watching TV. Sesshoumaru came down the stairs dressed in white sweatpants and a red and white flowered button up shirt.

 

“So where are we going” asked Kagome walking out the door with Sesshoumaru hand in hand. “The limo” said Sesshoumaru. “No really where are we going” asked Kagome.

 

“You do not believe me” asked Sesshoumaru. “It's not that I know we are getting in the limo but where are we going in it” asked Kagome. “We are staying” said Sesshoumaru. They got in and the driver started driving.

 

“Sure” said Kagome looking at Sesshoumaru weird. “You find my face amusing” asked Sesshoumaru. “No, just hot that's all” said Kagome closing her eyes and sighing.

 

“What is on your mind” asked Sesshoumaru. “It's nothing that you could understand” said Kagome opening her eyes to meet two worried ones. “You thing me incapable of helping” asked Sesshoumaru.

 

“No that's not it, you're the smartest person I've ever met, but you've never been in this situation before” said Kagome taking the offered spot on his lap.

 

Sesshoumaru, who was beginning to catch onto what she was talking about, decided to offer some advice. “You know you are free to chose or you can back out anytime you want if you do not feel comfortable” said Sesshoumaru.

 

“Yeah so one of you can pounce on me at 12 in the morning when spring starts” said Kagome putting her face in his chest just as the limo stopped. “You think us incapable of resisting springs effects” asked Sesshoumaru.

 

“Maybe you could last year or the year before but each year the urge to mate gets stronger even I know that, it doesn't just effect demons” said Kagome.

 

“Humans have a mating season too” asked Sesshoumaru this was new to him, some information he didn't know about. “Not exactly” said Kagome standing up and trying to find out where they were.

 

In a split second Sesshoumaru was up covering her eyes. “Hold on” said Sesshoumaru she felt the cool air on her body and then his hand was removed. When Kagome opened her eyes she was standing in a field of flowers.

 

“Wow it's so pretty” said Kagome leaping at Sesshoumaru who caught her with ease. Then Kagome planted an open mouth kiss on Sesshoumaru who returned the favor.

 

“You know I love you no matter what I decide to do right” asked Kagome. “Yes I know” said Sesshoumaru. “And do you return the feelings” asked Kagome.

 

“Would we not be in this predicament if I did not” asked Sesshoumaru. “You have a point, why do you always talk in riddles” asked Kagome. “Do I” asked Sesshoumaru.

 

“Tell me is `would we not be in this predicament if I did not' sound like a normal sentence to you” asked Kagome. “Yes why” asked Sesshoumaru. “Never mind” said Kagome laughing.

 

Sesshoumaru sat down on the ground pulling Kagome down with him. She landed on his lap laughing. “What do you find amusing” asked Sesshoumaru. “Nothing it's just nice out and Im happy to be here” said Kagome.

 

“Mhm” said Sesshoumaru leaning back so Kagome was lying on his chest. `It feels like I belong here, next to Sesshoumaru, forever' that thought made Kagome smile.

 

“Hey Sesshoumaru” asked Kagome. “Hmm” replied Sesshoumaru. “If I agree to be with you and Inuyasha will we get a traditional wedding or a wedding for the demon world or both” asked Kagome.

 

“Both” said Sesshoumaru smirking `she doesn't know what marriage for the demon world is'. “This is probably the best date I've been on so far” said Kagome randomly.

 

`That will be weird getting married, they might both want babies, or pups as they call it, fun' grimaced Kagome as she relived the classes she took on childbirth in high school.

 

“Kagome you look beautiful tonight” said Sesshoumaru. “But Im just wearing comfy clothing” said Kagome as she blushed. “You look good enough to eat” said Sesshoumaru.

 

“Thanks I was never told by anyone that I was pretty but beautiful isn't that a bit overboard” asked Kagome. “No” said Sesshoumaru as he grabbed her right hand and held onto it.

 

Kagome flipped over to lie on the grass next to Sesshoumaru who still had her hand. When he let it go her hand felt somewhat different, she didn't know if it was the warmth that she missed or that she was just tired.

 

“We may leave if you are tired” said Sesshoumaru. “Ok, this is pathetic I mean it's only like 7 and Im already about to pass out” said Kagome.

 

“No you just haven't slept well” said Sesshoumaru carrying her bridal style to the limo. When Sesshoumaru sat down he found that she was already asleep in his arms.

 

`Note to self call a doctor about Kagome's sleep patterns' thought Sesshoumaru as the entire ride home he looked into her face with a deep secret passion just burning to come out.

 

When they arrived home Sesshoumaru carried Kagome up to her room and set her down on her bed but she wouldn't let go of his shirt. Sesshoumaru sighed and unbuttoned his shirt then set Kagome down on the bed with the shirt. She mumbled an incoherent `Sesshoumaru' as she cuddled up closer to the shirt. He just shook his head and walked back to his room.

 

`She didn't notice yet, she will find out by morning' thought Sesshoumaru getting ready for bed. He got into bed and fell asleep tomorrow would be hard or more like sharing Kagome would be. He let his mind wander into the land of sleep.

 

Kagome woke up when the sun hit her face. Her hand, which had been hanging over the side of the bed, was numb. When Kagome picked up her hand to try and regain feeling she saw it a beautiful ring on her reverse wedding finger. The white gold ring had one large diamond on it as big a penny. She looked at it harder and saw that it had 4 smaller diamonds that were blue on either side of the larger one.

 

“Holy shit” yelled Kagome.
