It has been nearly a year since Kagome fell through the well for the first time and has been collecting jewel shards with Inuyasha. "You'r not leaving that easy this time"

"It's not as if I had a choice, I have a life of my own ya know, and I need to go study for my exams and I happen to have a family" Kagome was yelling at Inuyasha even if she was not angry at him, but he made a scene each and every time she had to go back home. Inuyasha jumped over Kagome to deny her access to the well and take her back at the camp when she screamed a loud SIT BOY!!! and jumped in the well.

Kagome had just gotten out of English class when her three friends Eri, Yuka and Ayumi saw her.
"Hey Kagome! your not sick today, maybe we could hang out after school all four of us!" said Yuka,

"Yeah, that sounds like fun'' answered the two other friends.

''We could then all go sleep at your place Kagome, since tomorrow is Saturday and it's always so quiet and the air is so fresh at the shrine where you live'' suggested Ayumi.

"I don't know...'', Kagome hesitated, 'It has been a week since I left feudal Japan, Inuyasha might come after me to continue the quest...'

''Common Kagome, it has almost been a year that you call in sick almost every week, we could use this time to catch up'' her friends insisted so much that she could not refuse anymore.

''Ok then a weekend isn't gona hurt that much'' she said ' I'll just have to write Inuyasa a memo to tell him not to come after me and leave it in the shrine' Kagome thought.

After school, the group met at Kagome's house.
''Mom is it ok if some of my friends come and spend the night?'' asked Kagome,

''Sure sweaty, your friends from the feudal age are always welcome, I always wanted to meet them'' her mother answered not knowing Kagome was talking about her friends from school.

''Euhh... friends from the feudal era Japan? What does your mom mean by that Kagome?''

'Oups, I didn't know she invited her ordinary friends, I better repair what I've done' ''I did not mean that, you know every day Kagome is home sick, she works on a story about demons that take place in the Feudal era, and I like to tease her by telling her that one of the characters from her story has come through thee well in our time'' her mother explained.

'Damn it mom now I'm in even bigger trouble then I was a minute ago'

''Is that true Kagome, have you become a writer'' replied Yuka ''Can we read it, or better can you read it to us'' asked Eri.

''You see, we've just opened the door and we learned something about you that you haven't told us, this sleepover will be great'' replied Ayumi.

Just then Kagome's mom interrupted them ''Why don't you girls all go change and wait for me to prepare dinner for all of us'' They each went to change one by one and they teased Buyo, Kagome's cat until dinner had been ready (the poor thing)

The dinner had been nice and everyone forgot about Kagome's story until they went to sleep.

''Hey all this talking has made me forget about your story Kagome, can I read it'' asked Yuka

''Well euh... it's kinda... Yawwn I'm tired good night'' Kagome replied.

''No fair we want to read it'' Kagome couldn't tell them about Inuyasha and the others so she only told them about the well being a portal to 500 years ago and faked getting too sleepy and falling asleep. Her friends, thinking she could get sick if she did not get enough rest, gave up on the story, for the night anyway. They fell asleep one after the other except for Eri, she could not help but think about the well and its connection to the story.

The window to the room was open and the cool air penetrated the room.
''Maybe I should get some fresh air'' thought Eri. She silently got out of the room, down the stairs then out of the house. When she walked by the thousand years old oak, she noticed the little shrine and thought about the well about it being a portal to the feudal era, suddenly she felt drawn to it and without knowing why, she ran towards the doors and opened them. She noticed that the moonlight coming from an opening in the roof was illuminating the well and she saw a piece of paper sticking to the well.
Her attention was so focused on this little piece of paper that she did not notice the stairs. She went to reach for the memo when she fell down the stairs scorching her knee ''Damn it, I was careless'' she cursed. She grabbed the memo and tried to read it by placing it above the well, where the moonlight was. With her knee still hurting and her being in an unbalanced position, trying to get the most out of the light, she lost her footing and fell into the well. She fell dizzy and was surrounded by this unfamiliar purple light.

Moments later, she found herself at the bottom of the well still holding in her hands the piece of paper. She climbed out of the well and was surprised to find herself outside, 'What happened, where's the shrine, where's Kagome's house and where did that forest come from?' she thought.

Her attention went back to the memo and she read it out loud
''Inuyasa, I invited some friends to come over so please don't come in the house, I'll be back to your time on Monday signed Kagome'' 'Who's Inuyasha, and why was this in the well house and not at the front door, what does she mean by your time?' all these questions passed through her mind and kept coming back until she screamed in frustration ''WHERE AM I?''.
