Meanwhile in the past

"Inuyasha, wait, you cannot go to Kagome's time yet" said Miroku trying to keep up with the half-demon

"It's non of your business monk, I can go there anytime I want" Inuyasha wanted to continue the quest, plus it was the first time Kagome had been there so long, he was a bit worried and it showed.

"Wait, her friends might still be there, that's why she did not come back, wait until tomorrow" said the monk as Sango arrived to the scene

"Inuyasha, are you gong to bring back Kagome?" asked the demon slayer

"None of your business, can't a guy have some privacy around here without always being followed by you two"

"Then can you take back those clothes to Kagome, it belongs to her friend and someone here is particularly interested in them so please take them back" Sango replied while giving Miroku a cold stare.

Inuyasha took the clothes and jumped through the well and mumbled without being heard `Lousy monk, always trying weird stuff with every girl he meets' he came out at the other end of the time portal, in the present. While he jumped to Kagome's window, he noticed the smell of his favorite food, ramen noodles, and he almost missed the window and crashed in the brick wall because of this distraction. He looked inside the room but did not find any sleeping bag so he assumed that no one else was there, he dropped the clothes he was carrying on the bed and hopped to the kitchen window. Kagome was at the stove boiling the noodles and adding the powdered flavor into the mix. Yuka Eri and Ayumi were sitting on the kitchen table discussing about what they will do for the rest of the day

"We still have a couple of hours before we go to bed, why don't you tell us more about your secret boyfriend Kagome" suggested Yuka,

"Yeah when do we get to meet him, I bet he's even more handsome then Hojo since you had absolutely no interest in the poor guy" said Eri the girls got so exited that they were now sanding and all jumpy.

"Finally, the ramen is ready" said Kagome "Let's all sit, boy am I hungry" she added. Inuyasha, without knowing what had happened was pulled down by the prayer beads and crashed head first into the ground tow stories below.

"What was that noise" asked Eri

"Nothing, probably some construction work on the road" replied Kagome.

`Why did she have to sit me, I didn't do nothing to her, I bet its because of that "secret" boyfriend of hers, I can't believe she's been keeping secrets from me' he thought rubbing his head in pain, `she wont get away that easy that's for sure' Having heard the noisy fall of Inuyasha, Souta, Kagome's little brother, went to check it out and saw Inuyasha sitting on the ground mumbling something.

"Inu-brother!! What are you doing here; I bet you came to see Kagome but she invited some friends so you can't see her right now. Maybe you should wait for her in her room" said the much exited kid,

"Good to see you too brat" replied Inuyasha before jumping to her bedroom window and entering the room. When dinner was all eaten and the girls were satisfied, they headed to Kagome's room. Inuyasha could hear the footsteps on the stairs so he knew someone was coming and as soon as the door was open:

"I think you have some explaining to do Stupid" said the half youkai with a bit of anger in his voice

"Inuyasha??" Kagome sure was surprised; she could not have guessed in a million years that he would be in her room waiting for her.

"I heard you talking to your noisy friends, who's that secret boyfriend of yours, I can't believe you're keeping secrets from me" the anger was replaced by a touch of sadness. "I told you everything about me, my mother, Kikyo, even about the new moon… I guess even you could not love me for who I am…" with this last sentence it was melancholy that could be detected in his voice

"Inuyasha…" Kagome said in a comforting tone, "They are right behind me" se added a little bit annoyed.
