When shippo awoke he was in the endless field. “Ah you have arrived”…“you again?”…“yes it is I. I believe you can take some of the knowledge that you will receive.”…“what knowledge?”…“you will know in time.” The field change it began getting dark and he was lifted off of the ground. Every thing started spinning so fast only blurs could be seen. When it stopped he was on a blackened mountain where he saw the thing that he feared most Naraku. He was at the place where the final battle with naraku was Inuyasha was about to strike the final blow when all stopped. “Shippo this is a moment of your past where you received the knowledge that I mentioned before.”…“what?!”…“yes we gave you the knowledge when naraku was killed. Unfortunately your mind could not take its power. You slowly went mad and we were forced to wipe the knowledge from your mind.”…“what is this knowledge and why did it make me mad?”…“your curiosity is as large as the world it self young one. Fine ill tell you. It is the knowledge of your kind's power. This knowledge in turn unlocks the hidden power of your kind in you.”…“ok so kitsunne are supposed to be powerful?”…“you are not a kitsunne in a since”…“What!?”…“the kitsunne are merely a subspecies of what you are.”…“ok so the kitsunne are a subspecies. What other subspecies are there and what is the origin of these”…“the species are Genko, Kiko, Kitsunne, Nogitsunne, Koryo, Kuko, Reiko, Shakko, and the Yaken. (Different types of folklore foxes). All of witch descend from the Tenko or in your tongue the nine tailed fox.”…“What!! The last nine tail died over five thousand years ago. I cant be a nine tail”…“any of the subspecies can evolve into a nine tailed fox by either live for 10,000 years or in rare cases such as your self be gained in less.”…“but if I became a nine tailed fox six years ago why didn't I have six tails?”…“only part of the power was unlocked in your situation it was hoped that if Inuyasha failed to kill naraku then you could kill him.”…“so I was your back up plan.”…“we did not foresee what would happen and for that we apologize.”…“ok apology accepted can we move on now.”

The area again started to spin. When he landed he was at the temple where he fought souten. “We have seen your gift of mercy on the thunder demon. And for that we give you a helpful tip. When in mortal peril seek thee the barrier in your mind, breach it and thou shall receive the power to carry on. Do not use this when not in danger it is too powerful we expect great things from you. Continue your present course. Your friend is calling to you go to her.”

 

Shippo was trust backward into a swilling darkness and shippo awoke. He was laid upon bed of grass in a forest. He had fresh bandages on him and a wet cloth on his head. He started to rise but a soft hand stopped him. He looked and saw katsuki. “Don't move you've been though enough.”…“how long was I out?”…“a full four days”…“yeash that long… have any thing to eat?”…“I got fish on the fire.” Shippo slowly shuffled himself over to eat. It was better than nothing. After finishing he walked off alone. He found a clearing, took off his bandages and sat down. He closed his eyes and concentrated on his wound. His wound began to heal faster and soon the wound was almost completely healed say for a scar. He pondered what the voice told him about searching the barrier in his mind. He searched his conciseness for such a thing he. He saw a dark sphere in his mind and it seemed to push him away. This must be the barrier I wonder what happens if I breach it he remembered not to breach it yet. He stood up and walked back to camp. Katsuki saw that his wound had healed and was very surprised. “How did you- shippo cut her off “I'm just good.” With a smirk on his face.

 

They resumed traveling south. Later in the day they had just walked over a large hill they saw a battle field. It was resent and had to of been on a large scale because there was over two thousand on each side. The two had crossed many battle fields but never one this massive. They surveyed the carnage when a flicker of movement caught the corner of shippo's eye. “I'm going to check something out holler if you need me”…“kay” shippo bounded off in the direction of the movement. And then he saw just how bad the battle was. It was still going. Shippo hid behind the bushes and used his sight ability to get a better look. Much to his surprise most weren't human. They were demons of many kinds. He zoomed in to see if he could find a leader. Usually the leader is easy to spot but he could only tell by finding the demonic power in him. And what seemed impossible happened. He noticed that he was being watched. A was rustle in the bushes behind him. It was an ambush 15 demons attacked him from behind. He dropped sight and ran for katsuki. He was half way there when he heard her scream “SHIPPO, Help!”

He also saw the dead army rise. Holy shit this it this is bad! “Shippo I am kenshiki (pride) of the seven deadly sins and am here to slay you!!”…“others have said the same thing and there dead now.” Shippo reached katsuki, but she was enwrapped in a cocoon of decaying flesh. “Soon her body will be nothing but a leaking peace of meat. With that added on how will you handle?”…“let us find out you piece of shit” shippo drew akumu and slashed at kenshiki. The moment the blade would have hit him he disappeared. He reappeared floating above the sea of undead samurai. “Come and get me.”

 

The army charged forward swords drawn and yelling. “FOX INFERNO” shippo blew apart the first wave and jumped over the second. In air he released the blades of vacuum only with a greater number and the second wave was ripped to shreds. He used the heads of the other undead pawns as stepping stones and jumped to a clearing in the army. He pulled out 7 leaves and threw them into the air. “MULITPLY” now there were 9 shippos against a little less than 4 thousand undead solders. (They might me illusions but they can do physical damage) four shippos were covering the rear fending off some of the army; two of the shippos were taking the left and right flanks while the rest were cutting a path to kenshiki. Kenshiki flew towards them and created a ball of wind made it a disc and threw it at the rear shippos destroying them all and the army was set loose against the remaining four. The four jumped up and went in four different directions all simultaneously saying “catch us If you can” (see shippo is still a kid) the army divided in four and gave chase. But then a fifth shippo burst out of the ground. The shippo plowed kenshiki in the stomach, and grabbed him and did a 3 story high body slam. Shippo gave him a chance to get up. At that moment kenshiki pulled out his weapon witch was…

 

A bansho fan (a two handed fan used to signal troops in battle) PHTTT ha ha ha oh my god that's his weapon ha ha. But shippo's laughter was cut short when he swung it. A maelstrom bellowed from the fan and several blades of air came from it. Shippo quickly drew his sword and released his blades. The blades met but shippo's blades were over powered and were destroyed. The blades didn't stop there; they cut shippo's clothes to the point where he had to take the top off so he wouldn't be distracted by the shreds.

 

“Wow nice abs” admiring shippo's 8 pack (yes I said 8 pack) “thanks I killed people a lot lets get on with the show” the battle continued. shippo charged in , and kenshiki smacked his fan on the ground creating a shockwave. Shippo, still charging jumped over the shockwave and swooped in to cut kenshiki. Kenshiki countered shippo's slash with a roundhouse kick sending him skidding on the ground. Shippo caught himself mid-skid and held his hand out at kenshiki. “FOX FIRE” shippo released a stream of fox fire witch was easily blocked with a wind gust from kenshiki. Shippo, using his demonic speed cleared the distance between the two of them in no seconds flat they both crossed weapons.

 

Upon the two colliding a great surge of energy burst forth disarming both shippo and kenshiki. Though they did not rush for their weapons, instead they fought hand to hand. Kenshiki made a wide thrust with a punch; witch shippo countered by spinning out of the way and knife handing (karate chop) the back of kenskiki's neck. They exchanged a barrage of blows. Shippo jumped back and did a running kick. Kenshiki grabbed his foot in midair threw him up waited for him to fall and smashed him with a humongous punch aided by his wind abilities. Shippo was thrown to the ground and as soon as he got up kenshiki displayed extreme speed and was there before shippo was fully standing. He grabbed shippo's shoulder and rapidly punched him at matrix speeds. Then brought his hand back and finished with huge punch that hit shippo in the chest smashing him against the ground creating a crater 5 feet deep.

 

The army was returning now and kenshiki left the badly beaten shippo to be torn apart by the undead. The voice in his dreams came to him as the army was closing in. “reach for the barrier, quickly!” shippo did as he was told and reached for the barrier in his mind. The black ball appeared before him he reached for it. It pushing away at him more as he drew closer. His hands finally pierced its blackness.

 

Kenshiki was half way to katsuki “MMRRAGHHHH!!” he looked back and saw and explosion of power and fire. It blew apart most of the undead surrounding it. And he saw shippo, eyes glowing bright red, claws enlarged and he had two tails. He was in demon form. Shippo looked at kenshiki ran in a lope (four legged running) towards him. All of the undead disintegrating before they even got near him. He got to kenshiki in no time flat kenshiki summoned his fan and swung it with all of his might. The massive wind took up half the remaining army, but shippo did not move he grabbed his fan and broke it in half. Then kenshiki tried to punch him, but shippo grabbed it and ripped it from its socket and used it as a bludgeon and hit him in the head. He then dropped the arm and dug his claws in kenshiki's abdomen “don't you know never corner a fox its bad for your health” at that moment he ripped kenshiki in half swinging his upper and lower body showering himself in blood. He threw away what was left of kenshiki and ran to katsuki. He dug her out of the cocoon and made sure she was ok. His eyes stopped glowing and his claws retracted but his two tails remained there. He carried katsuki into the southern forest. He set up camp and soon fell asleep.
