Shippo was once again in the endless field. “Welcome back”…“hello I have a few questions for you”…“I can imagine”…“first, what exactly did I do? Secondly, why do I have two tails?”… “For your first question you unlocked your hidden reserves of power, and for your second question you are one step closer to becoming a nine tail. Your tails represent your power and since your have two tails your power has just doubled.”…“huh, is that so? Ok is there any thing you want to show me.”…“not to show you, for you to experience.” The field darkened and ring of fire surrounded a large area around shippo. “Your power has greatly increased and I am giving you a chance to test them.”…“ever hear of trail by fire?”…“exactly what is happening, ohh and consider this a warning things that happen in here have real life consequences”…“now she tells me”

 

The ground started to rumble and hundreds strange demons burst from the ground. They appeared to be minions from hell. They had black skin tight full body suits, glowing green eyes (think spawn), they were covered in ancient kanji that shippo couldn't decipher. They carried hand axes that swirled with dark energy. They ran towards shippo at inhuman speeds. Shippo then got his first glimpse of how powerful he had become. One of the demons threw its ax and through shippo's eyes it was going in slow motion and sidestepped it.

 

The other demons arrived at shippo at speeds so fast that humans would have thought they had appeared out of thin air. Shippo punched the demon closest to him in the face. He heard bones shattering in its skull, it died instantly, and it flew strait into the other demons knocking them back. Shippo was amazed at his own strength he didn't notice there was another one of those demons. It attempted to hack shippo's head off but shippo saw this and raised his hand and blocked it with his little finger. “Fox fire” shippo's fire surrounded his finger and spread to the ax and it melted. The fire continued and the demon was incinerated. Shippo then wanted to test even more power. “FOX FIRE” a huge nova spiraled from shippo and reached to the edges of the arena of fire destroying all of the demons.

Thousands more demons came from the sky. Shippo then drew akumu and it almost flew from his hand. Shippo then gathered energy for the demon fire attack. To his surprise he gathered the energy required to do normal demon fires almost instantly. He gathered more energy until he realized his sword couldn't take any more. “DEMON FIRE” the silver and black blaze was of immeasurable size destroying all of the demons and then some.

 

All of the damage disappeared and every thing was back to the way it was. “That is enough, as you can see your power has greatly increased. But with this power comes responsibility you must know how much power your using as not to destroy everything.”…“I would assume that I can create instead of destroying.”…“you are still not able to do such a thing and do not attempt it for you will lose more than you gain”…“ok, so all of my powers have increased and I also assume I have gained some too.”…“that is correct but it is up to you to find them out for our time here grows short and you must leave”…“fine I'll see- well I'll hear you when I hear you.” And shippo was thrown out of the field into darkness.

 

He opened his eyes to see katsuki still asleep. He got up and searched for water. He found a small stream and filled his canteens made from bamboo he saw some kids playing tag down steam. They all were moving slow to him. He saw some adults calling them back. He heard every single word they said. He could smell them and any one who ever touched them. He also felt vibrations in the air he noticed that it was from a bird flying above him. He brought the canteens back to katsuki. She was right where he left her. He poured some water in her mouth making sure she swallowed. Then he began breakfast. All they had was rice.

 

When the rice was done Shippo walked over to katsuki and poured cold water all over her face. She woke up coughing. “What the hell!? Whose the wise guy?!” she growled. “Your up finally”…“you! You don't wake up a girl like that, it's rude!”…“I tried slapping and that didn't work” he was grinning. She sighed in annoyance “how long was I out”…“only a couple of hours I'd imagine. I fell asleep as soon as I made camp.” This only made her even angrier “you what!! Weren't you the least bit concerned about me to even stay up?”…“I wanted to but was too exhausted after killing that entire army of the undead and that one guy” she had completely forgotten that happened. “Oh, sorry I didn't-”… “There is no reason to apologize, any way we need to get some new clothes”…“why?”…“my kimono is torn up all to hell and yours is stained with blood and has holes in it from acid.” She inspected her clothes. “I guess your right but you can't go into town with out a shirt on. First off you'd be swamped with girls with that body of yours.”…“you feel the say way don't you.”…“uh- no no of course not, w-why would I be interested in that, eight pack of yours?” she seemed to blush and stared at his 8 pack. Shippo woke her from her daze by throwing some water in her face. Shippo then pulled two leaves from a tree and put one to his chest and a cloak covered him. And did the same with katsuki.

 

They found a town near the stream from earlier they browsed around a found a clothing shop. They where fitted and where told that there clothes would be ready in a day.

 

They returned to camp. While katsuki was making dinner shippo was sitting on a stone wall near a bridge watching some kids play kamate ball. One boy was trying to get in the game the others shoved him out and called him names. He knew why he was shunned, he was a hanyou. He ran off crying, not looking where he was going and fell into the river. He was screaming for help but no one would help him. Shippo ran towards the child and scooped him out of the water. He sat the child down. “You should be more careful you never know what happens if you don't watch were your going”…“thank you mister” wanting to humor the child “why were they picking on you over there any way”…“it's just because I'm not human like them. It's not fair!”…“this that why? Well that's not a reason to not involve some one in a nice game. By the way where are your parents?”…“they are slaying a demon in the town”…“who are your parents?”…“my mama is a priestess and my papa is a hanyou. My mama's name is kagome.” What! This is kagome's kid “its starting to get dark, you should go to your parents”…“ok, it was nice talking to you” the child started to run off

 

“I forgot to ask. What's your name?” the boy turned around “my name is shippo” he ran off. K-kagome named her kid after me? That can't be right. Why would she do that? Shippo heard katsuki call to him and he bounded off to her. He told katsuki about his meeting with shippo. And told her that he knew his mother. “Well if she is in town why don't you visit her?”…“uh- no it's its hard to explain.” Katsuki saw sadness in his eyes and did not press the matter. They finished there meal and went to sleep. Convinced that katsuki was asleep; shippo got out of bed and went to the village using his new found speed. Shippo walking on the roof tops opened his mind to see if he could sense his former foster mother. He found that she was staying in an inn on the far side of town. He quietly but swiftly made his way to the inn. He was out side the inn hidden in the shadows. “Sight” his eyes glowed blue and he saw kagome. She was asleep and inuyasha was asleep too. Shippo (the kid) was sound asleep with mother and father. The sight almost made him cry. He steeled himself and went into the room. He saw her sleeping with his naked eyes. It was though she had not aged a day. He wanted to wake her and apologize for everything but he knew that was not going to go as well as it sounded so he left a little symbol of him self A green top with his name on it. He placed the top on next to her bow and arrows. Farewell mother he left to the campsite. In the morning the two cleaned up the camp and went to get there new clothes witch looked just like there old ones. They left the town soon after continuing their course to the place of final battle with naraku.

 

Kagome woke up at first light. Inuyasha was already awake. Shippo was still asleep. They packed their things and woke their son. As kagome reached for her bow she saw a green top. Kagome had never bought shippo a top. She looked at it for a while. It's the other shippo's he was here she took it and placed it in her things. Shippo was here, he actually came to me after six years. She told inuyasha. He agreed that he was here. Finally we've got him I can finally make him pay

 

Inuyasha and kagome are against him what will become of our favorite kitsunne find out next time.
