CHAPTER 7
A bit later Sango and Miroku and Kirara came back.
“Come on lets get some rest.” said Miroku. “Don’t they look cute!” said Sango looking at Kagome and Inuyasha.
Then Miroku started staring at Kagome and Inuyasha too.
The next morning Inuyasha went to a river to wash up.
“I wonder when we are going to get the jewel shard from Tusbaki.” Inuyasha said.
“I don’t know.” said Kagome coming over to sit with Inuyasha.
“You still don’t want the Shard all for yourself like you did when I first met you right?” Kagome asked.
“Umm…” said Inuyasha not knowing what to say.
“What! You still want it to become a full demon!” Kagome said in a angry voice. Then Kagome got up and glared at Inuyasha. Then she stormed off.
When Kagome got back over to where Sango was she started telling Sango what Inuyasha intends to do.
“He what!” Sango said in surprise.
“Yeah I know!” yelled Kagome in tears. “Where is Miroku and Shippo?” Kagome asked.
“They went on a little walk with Kirara.” Sango said.
A bit later Miroku and Shippo and Kirara and Inuyasha came back. Sango and Kagome where eating. Sango and Kagome just looked at Inuyasha in disgust.
“What’s with them?” Asked Miroku.
“I don’t know.” Said Shippo looking at Inuyasha.
“WHAT!” yelled Inuyasha and went out of the hut.
“What’s going on?” asked Shippo.
“Nothing Shippo.” said Kagome.
Kagome couldn’t take it anymore she went out of the hut and walked towards Inuyasha. Everyone else ran out to see what was going on.
“How could you betray us like this!” yelled Kagome walking towards Inuyasha. “HUH!” yelled Kagome crying. “Tell me!!” she screamed.
“Tell you!” yelled Inuyasha getting up. “Do you really want to know!” yelled Inuyasha almost crying.
“YES!” yelled Kagome. She was right next to Inuyasha now.
“Because nobody cares about me! So I would rather be a full demon with no feelings then a stupid half wit!” yelled Inuyasha.
“WHAT!!!” yelled Kagome. “I care about you!” she yelled.
But then Kagome got a kindness in her eyes and looked at Inuyasha.
“Inuyasha.” said Kagome in a soft voice.
Then Kagome walked up to Inuyasha and hugged him. Inuyasha got a surprised look on his face, because he thought that Kagome was going to run away or something.
“Oh Kagome.” said Inuyasha and hugged her back.
“So what was going on?” asked Miroku in confusion.
“Oh nothing.” Said Sango.
“Inuyasha why did you think that nobody cared about you?” asked Kagome.
“I don’t know. Its just a thought that crossed my mind without warning.” Said Inuyasha.
“What!? That doesn’t make any since Inuyasha.” said Kagome a little confused.
“HA! Their not even catching on to my trick!” laughed Naraku. “Playing with their minds, making them hate each other! Just like I did with Inuyasha and Kikyo 50 years ago.” said Naraku.
The next morning Sango was the first one to get up.
“Kagome.” Sango said in a quiet voice. “Kagome wake up!” She whispered.
“What?” Kagome asked getting up.
“I need to talk to you.” Sango said pulling Kagome out of the hut.
“Ok. So what did you want?” Asked Kagome.
“Why do you think Inuyasha was acting so weird last night? I mean he knows that you care deeply for him why would he say that no one cares about him?” Sango said.
“That’s exactly what I was thinking!” Said Kagome.
Then all of a sudden Inuyasha, Miroku, Shippo, and Kirara came out of the hut.
“Ready to go?” Shippo asked.
“Yes we are ready Shippo.” Said Kagome.
A bit later Inuyasha started walking by Kagome.
“Kagome do you think that I would really want to take away the jewel shard once we get it all back together?” Inuyasha asked.
“Umm…I don’t know.” She answered.
“Kagome I don’t know why I was saying all those things last night, because I do know that you care about me and I care about you and I don’t want to become a full demon anymore.” Said Inuyasha. “I am going to tell you something that I have never told anyone before.” he said.
“Ok.” Kagome said sounding worried.
“A long time ago when I loved Kikyo we where in a boat and we where talking and I told her that I wanted to become human, just a human like her, because that’s how much I loved her.” Inuyasha said.
“Oh.” Said Kagome.
“Yeah. And I want to do the same for you, because that is how much I love you Kagome.”
“What! No! He is not suppose to say that!” yelled Naraku. “My plan isn’t working!” He yelled.
“But Inuyasha you love being a hanyou! Are you just saying this because you think its what I want?” Asked Kagome.
“But isn’t that what you want?” Inuyasha Asked.
“I love you for who you are not how you look.” Kagome said.
“I thought that that would be what you wanted, because Kikyo hated me as a half breed.” Inuyasha said.
“But I love you as a hanyou and I love you, because of who you are. Don‘t call yourself a half breed.” Kagome said.
Inuyasha just smiled and started walking by Kagome again.
“Would you two hurry up!” yelled Shippo.
“Coming!” Kagome yelled back at Shippo.
As Kagome and Inuyasha started walking again Inuyasha herd something and turned around.
“What is it Inuyasha?” Kagome asked.
Sesshomaru was standing right in front Inuyasha.
“What do you want?!?!” yelled Inuyasha.
“I want the Tetsuiga. Inuyasha you are not the one who should have it!” Sesshomaru said.
“Oh my god! We have been through this how many times?” yelled Inuyasha. “The Tetsusaiga is MINE!” he yelled.
“Inuyasha give me the Tetsusaiga.” Said Sesshomaru.
“Over my dead body!” yelled Inuyasha.
“Fine by me.” said Sesshomaru. Then Sesshomaru ran at Inuyasha. And Inuyasha started to fight with him.
“I hate it when these guys fight over the Tetsusaiga.” Kagome thought to herself.
Sesshomaru ran towards Inuyasha.
“Sesshomaru! You know that the sword was made for me! Now just go away!” Inuyasha yelled.
“I also herd that you have feelings for yet another human Inuyasha.” Sesshomaru said as he came to the ground. “First that Kikyo and now her.” Said Sesshomaru pointing at Kagome. “Father would be very cross with you if he was still alive. Caring for humans.” Sesshomaru said.
“Get off my back! And why do you care anyways?!? You also care for a human! So I wouldn’t be talking!” Inuyasha yelled.
“Inuyasha I really came here to tell you that Naraku is making you and Kagome argue and fight.” Sesshomaru said.
“What?!” Inuyasha yelled. “Why are you telling me this?” Inuyasha asked.
But it was too late Sesshomaru was already gone.
“Why did he tell us that?” Kagome asked.
“I don’t know.” Sango said.
“It seems that Sesshomaru does have feelings for Inuyasha then.” Miroku said.
“What!” Inuyasha yelled.
A bit later Sango and Miroku and Kirara came back.
