CHAPTER 8
The next day when Inuyasha and everyone else was on the move again Kagome wondered why Sesshomaru came and told them that Naraku was trying to brake up her and Inuyasha.
“Kagome?” Inuyasha said.
“What?” She answered.
“Do you really think that Sesshomaru was telling the truth?” asked Inuyasha.
“Well we have been arguing more than we usually do….” Kagome started. “…I cant really say if he was telling the truth or a lie. Its hard to tell.” She finished.
Later that day when Miroku and Sango and Shippo and Kirara where resting and talking, Inuyasha and Kagome where up in a tree resting and talking. Then Kagome Fell asleep.
“Kagome?” Inuyasha said not knowing that she was asleep. “Kagome.” Inuyasha said again. Then he looked down and saw that she was asleep.
“She must be really tired from that long walk.” Inuyasha thought to himself. “I’ll wake her up in a little bit.” He thought.
So Inuyasha let Kagome sleep for about an hour or so.
Kagome was dreaming that she was a half dog demon too and that Inuyasha and her went swimming. Then Kagome pictured her married to Inuyasha and she was older. And then she pictured Inuyasha with a little girl.
“Who is that?” She thought.
“Kagome.” came a voice. “Kagome get up!” came the voice again.
Kagome opened her eyes and saw Inuyasha yelling at her.
“Kagome get up!!!” Inuyasha was yelling.
“Ok ok I am up!” Kagome said.
“Why where you asking for me?” Inuyasha said in a freaked out voice.
“I was?” Kagome said in a confused way.
“Yeah Kagome you sounded like you where in trouble.” Shippo said coming up in the tree with Inuyasha and Kagome.
“I did?” Kagome asked. “Oh well I had a pretty odd dream Shippo.” Kagome said rubbing her head.
“Yeah.” Said Inuyasha. “What about?” Inuyasha asked.
“Oh nothing.” Kagome said. “I don’t want him to get any ideas if I told him about my dream.” Kagome thought to herself. “But who was that little girl in my dream?” She thought.
Then Kagome had a flash back of when her mom told her that most dreams come true if it has to do with love.
“Kagome are you ok?” Sango asked as they where walking.
“Huh? Yeah I am fine, Its just…well never mind.” Kagome said.
“Ok…” Sango said. Then Sango walked over to Inuyasha. “Inuyasha.” Sango said.
“What.” Said Inuyasha.
“What did you do to Kagome?” She asked.
“What?!? Nothing! Why?” Inuyasha asked.
“Because she has been acting very strange lately and I was just wondering if you said something to her that made her so shocked.” Sango said.
“I have noticed too that she has been acting strange lately, I didn’t do anything to her, but whenever I try and talk to her about whatever it is troubling her she wont say anything.” Inuyasha said.
“I wonder why.” Sango said glancing at Kagome.
A bit later Inuyasha went over and jumped up on Kagome’s bike and started riding with her.
“Hey.” Inuyasha said.
“Huh what?” Kagome asked.
“Nothing.” Inuyasha said. “Umm Kagome?” Inuyasha said.
“What.” said Kagome.
“Why have you been acting so weird lately?” Inuyasha asked.
“Oh no reason.” Kagome said.
“Oh no you don’t! Your going to tell me why you have been so depressed and weird lately!” Inuyasha yelled at Kagome.
“Fine…” Kagome started. “I had a dream a few nights ago and it was about me and you….” Kagome started. “And I was a half demon like you and I had dog ears and fangs and claws. And then I saw me and you, we where much older then we are now and I think we where married and I was standing there. Then I saw you with a little girl in your arms and I didn’t know where she came from or why she was with you. Then you woke me up.” Kagome said taking a big breath.
Inuyasha’s eyes where so big it looked like they where going to pop out of his head!
“Umm Inuyasha?” Kagome said.
“What!!!!!” Inuyasha said in a confused voice. Then he walked off speechless and with a very confused look on his face.
“Ok Kagome what is wrong with him now?” Miroku asked Kagome as she was getting ready to ride.
“He is pretty freaked out about my dream. And he just walked off.” Kagome said in a worried voice.
Inuyasha was sitting up in a tree thinking to himself.
“I had that same dream how could Kagome have the same exact dream as me. Except I knew who the little girl was. It was our daughter.” Inuyasha thought to himself.
“Inuyasha! I can sense the Sacred Jewel!” Kagome yelled up to him.
“What?! We are that close to Naraku already?” Inuyasha said. “Ok I am coming!”
So as they started walking they came across a bridge, not a very high bridge but just high enough to go over a river.
“AHHHH!!!!!!” Kagome screamed “SPLASH!” she slipped & fell into the river.
“EWW! I am all wet and muddy! And all of my other cloths are dirty!” Kagome wined.
“Oh its nothing to wine over Kagome! Kaede will have something for you to ware when we go back there.” Inuyasha said.
“But Inuyasha! I am freezing over here!” Kagome yelled.
“Fine we will go to Kaede’s village, but just for tonight!” Inuyasha said.
“Oh yay!” Kagome said happily.
“Kirara!” Sango yelled. And Kirara transformed into a big cat demon and everyone got up on Kirara, but as Inuyasha was getting on her Kirara started to fly off.
“AHHH!!” Inuyasha yelled.
Kagome quickly grabbed Inuyasha’s hand.
“Hold on!” Kagome yelled to him. Once they got to Kaede’s village Kagome ran to Kaede and told her about her cloths so Kaede got some of Kikyo’s old cloths and gave them to Kagome.
“Here ye go Kagome, these are some of Kikyo’s old cloths they should fit ye just fine. In the morning we will wash your dirty cloths in the stream.” Kaede said.
“Ok thank you Kaede.” Kagome said.
Once Kagome got dressed into Kikyo’s cloths it was still light out so she decided to wash some of her dirty cloths in the stream wail it was still light out.
“Kagome?” Inuyasha asked when he came over by the stream.
“What?” Kagome said as she turned around.
Inuyasha’s then got a odd look on his face.
“What?” Kagome asked.
“Get undressed.” Inuyasha said.
“BANG!” Kagome smacked Inuyasha on the head with a big boulder. “Ouch! That hurt!” Inuyasha wined.
“You pig!” Kagome yelled.
“I didn’t mean get naked stupid! I just cant stand seeing you in those cloths!!” Inuyasha yelled and pointed to Kagome’s regular cloths expecting her to put them back on.
“I cant change back into those cloths, because they are W….E….T!! And you know that!” Kagome yelled. “And I know why you cant stand seeing me in these cloths, because I look like Kikyo! And you still have feelings for her!” Kagome yelled and walked off.
