CHAPTER 9

When Kagome got back to Kaede’s village Miroku and Sango where talking about Naraku and where he might be.
“Kagome where is Inuyasha?” Mirkou asked.
“Like I care!” Kagome snapped. “I am going home!” Kagome yelled and grabbed all her things and started for The Forest Of Inuyasha to the well.
“Kagome wait!! Why are you going home?” Shippo yelled.
But Kagome just kept on walking.
“What did Inuyasha do now?” Sango said.

A bit later Inuyasha came back to Kaede’s village and sat down by Miroku.
“Where is Kagome?” Inuyasha asked.
“She went home!” Sango said.
“What! Why?” Inuyasha asked.
“I don’t know I wasn’t over with her at the stream.” Sango said.
“What ever you did Inuyasha you offended Kagome.” Miroku said.

Once Kagome got home she went straight to her room.
“Kagome why are you here?” Her grandpa asked, but Kagome just walked right past him and went straight to her room.
Kagome got out of Kikyo’s old cloths and got dressed into her pajamas and flopped down on her bed.
“Why does he still love her? Should I go back? I thought he loved me!” Kagome was thinking of so many things she started to cry.

“Inuyasha I wouldn’t go after Kagome this time if I where you. She was in a really really bad mood.” Miroku said.
“Don’t worry she will come back.” Inuyasha said.
“Inuyasha was exactly did you say to make Kagome so mad?” Sango asked.
“Well….umm I said I couldn’t stand seeing her in Kikyo’s old cloths.” Inuaysha said not looking at anyone.
“No wonder she left!” Shippo yelled.

The next day Kagome got up and went to school.
“Hey! Kagome!” Her friends yelled.
“I thought you said you where going to be gone forever with that ‘Demon‘ ”. One of her friends said. “Ha ha ha ha I knew he wasn’t a real demon and I knew you weren’t going to be gone forever!” She said.
“Hum…oh yeah.” Kagome said in a sad voice.
“I feel like I should be in the futile era with Inuyasha. But I am so mad at him!” Kagome thought to herself. “And I sensed the Sacred Jewel! Oh no I bet he is mad at me for leaving, because he is probably wondering where it is right now.” Kagome was still thinking to herself.
“Kagome!” Her teacher yelled. “Are you feeling ok? You look a little pail. Why don’t you go home for the rest of the day.” Her teacher said with a smile.
“Ok.” Kagome said.
With no hesitations she got up and left.

“Inuyasha why would you still have feelings for Kikyo when you said you loved Kagome?” Sango asked.
“I don’t know it just kind of came back to me when I saw Kagome in Kikyo’s old cloths.” Inuyasha said. “She looks so much like her.” Inuyasha thought to himself.
“Well give me a Jewel Shard!” Shippo said.
Now this surprised everyone.
“And why would you want one Shippo?” Miroku asked.
“Because I miss Kagome and I want to see her!” Shippo said and grabbed a Jewel Shard from Inuyasha and started running for the well.
“Oh no you don’t!” Inuyasha yelled and grabbed Shippo by the tail and took the Jewel Shard from Shippo.
“Inuyasha you let me go!” Shippo yelled.
“Gladly.” Inuyasha said and dropped Shippo.
“Kagome will come back when she cools down from being so mad at me.” Inuyasha said staring up to the sky.

Once Kagome got home she went by the well and stared at it for a long time.
“Its almost like I can hear Inuyasha and Shippo talking.” Kagome thought to herself.
After a bit Kagome got up and went inside her house.

“Inuyasha its been almost a week and Kagome still hasn’t come back!” Shippo yelled.
“Yes Inuyasha Shippo is right, maybe Kagome isn’t coming back. Have you ever gave that a thought?” Miroku asked.
“Yeah I have. But how could she get so mad?” Inuyasha thought to himself staring up at the sky again.
“Well if she isn’t coming back we should get going, Naraku is close and I don’t want to just wait around for her to come back!” Sango said.
“Fine lets go.” Inuyasha said.

A bit later in Kagome’s time Kagome was getting ready to go back to the Futile Era. Kagome went down the well. As she got out she went straight to Kaede’s Village.
“Ah Kagome, Inuyasha and the others left awhile ago.” Kaede said.
“What!?! They left without me?” Kagome asked in a surprised voice.
“Leave your things here with me and go look for them. The last I saw them they where headed that way.” Kaede said and pointed to the west.
“Ok. Thank you Kaede!” Kagome said as she started to the west.

“What? I smell Kagome’s sent, but its fade.” Inuyasha said.
“You do?!?!” Shippo yelled. “Well lets go and get her!” Shippo yelled.
“Yeah that’s what I am going to do! You guys stay here I will be back with Kagome in a bit!” Inuyasha yelled.

Kagome was walking along a path in the woods and she came apone a big light. Kagome stopped and stared at the light for a bit. Then she went to see what it was. Kagome looked and it was Kikyo!

“I can still smell her, but her sent is fade. She must be farther away then I thought.” Inuyasha said.
Mean wile Kagome went closer to the light and closer to Kikyo. Kagome then tripped on a root.
“Huh.” Kikyo said and looked over to where Kagome tripped. “YOU! What are you doing here? Get away!” Kikyo screamed. “This has nothing to do with you!” Kikyo screamed even louder.
“What’s wrong with her?” Kagome thought to herself.

“What I-I smell Kikyo’s sent too.” Inuyasha said. “And Kagome’s sent is getting stronger. I must be close, to both of them.” Inuyasha thought.
Inuyasha soon got to where Kikyo was and Kagome was right by her.
“What?!” Inuyasha said.
“Kagome!” Inuyasha yelled.
“Inuyasha!” Kikyo and Kagome both yelled at the same time.

Kikyo walked up to Inuyasha. Kikyo had pinned Kagome to a tree and made it so that she is invisible to Inuyasha as long as she is pinned to the tree he can’t hear or see her.
“Inuyasha I know you have been thinking of me.” Kikyo said.
Inuyasha was speechless. Then Kikyo Kissed Inuyasha.
“INUYASHA!!!” Kagome screamed.
But Inuyasha couldn’t hear her. Inuyasha pulled away from Kikyo.
“Inuyasha don’t you still love me?” Kikyo asked in a harsh voice. “You would rather love this witch!” Kikyo screamed and with her powers unpinned Kagome from the tree and Kagome fell to the ground.
Inuyasha ran over to Kagome and helped her up.
“Yeah Kikyo I do love Kagome and not you.” Inuyasha said.
Inuyasha picked up Kagome, put her on his back and started to walk off. Kagome was still mad at Inuyasha, but she did think it was really sweet that he finally got the guts to tell Kikyo that he loved Kagome and not her anymore.
“So that’s it?” Kikyo said. “Your just going to leave me here to die?” Kikyo asked. “My soul collectors went away from me and I don’t know why. I am about to die Inuyasha. Is that what you want now that you don’t love me anymore?” Kikyo asked.
“No.” Inuyasha said.
Kagome smiled and said. “I can walk Inuyasha you carry Kikyo.”
“Ok.” Inuyasha said.

So Inuyasha picked Kikyo up and they started for Kaede’s village. Kikyo was getting weaker by the second. Once they got to Kaede’s village Kikyo was dead.
“Kikyo?” Inuaysha said.
“Inuyasha she is dead.” Kaede said coming out of a hut.
“What?!” Inuyasha said.
“Her soul collectors left her, because she started to love ye again and the soul collectors only stayed with her, because she hated ye Inuyasha. But then she started to have feelings for ye again.” Kaede said. “I will burry her in her grave site which she came from.” Kaede said.
“Inuyasha we should be getting back to the others. They are probably getting worried and sick of waiting.” Kagome said.
“Yeah lets go.” Inuyasha said.
“Inuyasha I am not mad at you anymore.” Kagome said with a smile. “Just so you know.” She said.
“Yeah ok.” Inuyasha said.
“Inuyasha did you really mean what you said back there?” Kagome asked.
“What did I say?” Inuyasha asked.
“That you loved me and not Kikyo.” Kagome said.
“Yeah I do love you and not Kikyo. I thought it was time to move on. She was a hunk of dead souls anyways.” Inuyasha said.
Kagome just smiled and held Inuyasha’s hand.
