CHAPTER 10
Once they got back to where Sango and the others where waiting they started off again.
“Inuyasha I sense the Jewel Shard.” Kagome said.
“Which way?” Sango asked.
“That way!” Kagome said and pointed to the east.
“Well lets get going!” Inuyasha yelled and picked Kagome up, put her on his back and Sango got Kirara to transform and the others got on Kirara and fallowed Inuyasha and Kagome.
“Kanna show me where Inuyasha is.” Naraku said.
So Kanna held up her mirror and showed Naraku.
“They are getting close.” Naraku said. “Kagura! Go and stall them wail I get ready!!” Naraku yelled.
“Yes.” Kagura said.
“Inuyasha we are getting close.” Kagome said.
“Good, because this time I wont let Naraku get away!” Inuyasha said. “We are going to take back the Jewel Shard!” Inuyasha thought to himself.
Soon Inuyasha came to a stop.
“What is it Inuyasha?” Kagome asked.
Then Kagura came out of nowhere.
“Kagura!” Inuyasha said. “What do you want?!” He yelled.
“I want all of you to go away!” Kagura yelled and took out her fan.
“I see you got it fixed!” Inuyasha yelled.
“Take this!” Kagura yelled. And she flung up the fan and made her ‘dance of the dragon‘ tornado.
The tornado chased Inuyasha around. Then Sango came and through her giant boomerang at the tornado. Then the tornado came back and sucked up Kagura.
“That was too easy. Seriously.” Sango said.
But just then Kagura came back.
“What’s up with you? Cant you leave us alone for just one day?!?!” Kagome yelled and got off Inuyasha’s back.
Kagome grabbed her bow and purifying arrows and got ready to fire.
“I wont miss either!” Kagome yelled.
“Foolish mortal!” Kagura yelled.
Kagura got out her fan and whipped it at Kagome. Kagome shot her arrow and the arrow blew up her fan.
“Ha ha ha ha. You fool!” Kagura yelled.
Kagome got a confused look on her face and then all of a sudden her arrow came back at her and smacked her right in the arm!
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” Kagome screamed in pain and fell to the ground.
“KAGOME!” Inuyasha yelled and went to her side. “Kagome?” Inuyasha said. “Kagura what did u do to her!” Inuyasha yelled demanding Kagura to tell him what she did to Kagome.
“Ha ha ha. You fool I filled my fan with poison and made her arrow come back at her!” Kagura yelled. “She will be dead in a matter of minutes!” She said.
“What!” Inuyasha yelled. “Kagome say something!” Inuyasha said calmly to her. “Kagome please say something!” Inuyasha said.
Just then Kagura disappeared.
“Master Naraku I think they will be distracted for awhile.” Kagura said.
“Good. I want to be the one who kills Inuyasha.” Naraku said.
“Sango you go and find something that will help Kagome!” Inuyasha yelled. “And Miroku you and Shippo go with her!” Inuyasha yelled to all of them.
“Inuyasha it might be to late by the time we get back, because the herbs that can help Kagome are all the way on the other side of that mountain.” Sango said.
“I DON’T CARE JUST GO!” Inuyasha yelled.
So Sango and the others left for the other side of the mountain.
“Kagome please wake up, please.” Inuyasha said almost in tears. “I don’t want to lose someone I care about again.”
Inuyasha put his ear by Kagome’s heart. He herd nothing, no heart beat. Nothing but complete silence. Inuyasha then began to cry.
“No! Kagome please! NO!” Inuyasha was yelling his head off saying so many things.
Just then a thought came to Inuyasha’s mind.
“Tensaiga.” Inuyasha thought. “Sesshomaru’s sword. The sword that can heal a person, not kill a person. It can also bring people back to life!” Inuyasha thought. “If I can get that sword from him I could bring Kagome back to life!” Inuyasha thought to himself.
So Inuyasha picked Kagome up and carried her in his arms. He started sniffing for Sesshomaru’s sent.
About an hour later Sango and the others came back with the herb.
“Where did Inuyasha and Kagome go?” Shippo asked looking around for them.
“I don’t know Shippo. Lets search for them.” Miroku said.
“Kirara!” Sango yelled.
Kirara transformed and they went looking for Inuyasha and Kagome.
Mean wile Inuyasha started to smell Rin. Rin is the little girl that Sesshomaru found and takes care of her.
“Humph! I don’t see why he just kills that little girl. He doesn’t care for anyone else but her.” Inuyasha thought to himself.
“I see them.” Inuyasha said.
“Sesshomaru I am tired.” Inuyasha herd Rin say.
“We will rest hear for the night then Rin.” Sesshomaru said.
Rin Smiled and hugged Sesshomaru.
Then Inuyasha saw something that he had never seen before. He saw Sesshomaru smile as Rin hugged him.
“Sesshomaru!” Inuyasha yelled coming out of the bushes.
Sesshomaru just looked up and stared at Inuyasha.
“What do you want?” Sesshomaru asked in an evil voice.
“I need you to use the Tensaiga on Kagome.” Inuyasha said in a low voice.
“And why would I do that for you?” Sesshomaru asked looking Kagome who was still in Inuyasha’s arms.
“Because she is dead and I need you to bring her back to life.” Inuyasha yelled.
“I see.” Sesshomaru said. “But why would I help you out? Why would I help a human?” Sesshomaru asked.
“Well you helped her!” Inuyasha said pointing to Rin.
“Sesshomaru, please help that girl she helped me once too.” Rin said walking up to Sesshomaru.
“Fine I shall do it only for you Rin.” Sesshomaru said. “Like I said only for Rin. Put the girl down Inuyasha.” Sesshomaru said.
So Inuyasha put Kagome down and Sesshomaru took out his sword and swiped it across Kagome.
“There you go Rin. Now Inuyasha you and your human girl be gone and leave us at peace!” Sesshomaru said to Inuyasha. “She will awaken in a bit.” He said.
So Inuyasha picked Kagome up and left.
“Thank you Sesshomaru for helping out your brother.” Rin said.
“I didn’t do it for my brother Rin I did it for you.” Sesshomaru said.
A bit later Inuyasha stopped to take a brake and put Kagome down.
“I….Inu….Inuyasha.” Kagome said opening up her eyes.
“Kagome!” Inuyasha said in the most happiest voice.
He ran over to her and hugged her.
“Inuyasha what happened?” Kagome asked.
“I will tell you on our way back to the others but for now lets sit and rest. I am exhausted.” Inuyasha said.
“I…Inuyasha why did you put your Red jacket on me?” Kagome asked.
“Because you where getting cold and I didn’t want you to get sick I wanted you to stay worm.” Inuyasha said.
“Please tell me now what happened.” Kagome said.
“Ok well Kagura killed…..” Inuyasha started.
“No no I know that already.” Kagome said.
“…Then I took you to Sesshomaru and he bought you back to life.” Inuyasha finished.
“Oh Inuyasha I was so scared!” Kagome yelled and hugged Inuyasha and started to cry.
Inuyasha hugged her too and said “You weren’t the only one who was scared.” Inuyasha said. “I thought I was never going to see you again.”
“Me too!” Kagome cried.
“Well we better get back to the others.” Inuyasha said.
“Yeah.” Kagome agreed.
So Kagome got on Inuyasha’s back and off they went.
