Im so weird like that.
Some days, i dont want to write at all. Then others, I HAVE to write.

Inuyasha awoke late that morning. He guessed it was about around lunch time. He still had his eyes closed, not really wanting to get up yet. 3 Days without sleep really took a lot out of a person. He shifted his arm a little, and relized he didnt feel anything next to him. His eyes flew open.
"Kagome?!" He said on impulse. He got up and ran outside. Miroku was helping some villagers again, but there was no sign of Kagome.
"Miroku!! WHERES KAGOME?!" Inuyasha ran over to him screaming.
"Relax Inuyasha!" Miroku calmly said. "Kagome-sama has gone to the springs with Sango. Shippo went with them also. Hes attached himself to Kagome's hip since she woke up this morning. No surprise there." Miroku looked at Inuyasha and gave him a big smile. "You and Kagome looked cozzy this morning, by the way." The comment just earned him a big lump on his head.
"Inuyasha, will you help us fix a hole in our roof? We cant seem to get it right." One of the villagers asked as he walked over to Inuyasha, who just nodded. Before going to help the villager, he looked in the direction of the springs, hoping Kagome would be coming back now, but as he figured, the women would be there for a while. Just like they always were. 'Women.'
+ About an Hour later +
Inuyasha had fixed the roof the villlager asked him to, along with moving some some fallen trees, and removing one that had fallen ontop of a house. He decided he needed a break.
He was walking back to Kaede's hut, when he smelled the fruity scent he loved, and heard her laughter along with that of her friends. He looked up. There she was.
Youd think she had never been in a battle ever in her life.
She was wearing a new kimono, which wasnt long, just slightly longer than her school skirt had been, which had been completely destroyed in the battle, hence the kimono. She still had the bandages around her stomache, and you could see its outline through the kimono. Danm that thing was tight on her. The sword she had aquired during the battle was attached to her hip. She wasnt wearing shoes, which surprised Inuyasha. She always gave him a hard time because he didnt wear them, now this? What next? When she smilied, he relized what was next. Fangs. She had two razor sharp fangs. They looked sharper than his. The thought gave him chills, but not as bad as the chills he got when she looked at him. Her eyes, they were more beautiful than before. They still had that brown he loved, but right by her pupil, bright red seemed to bleed through.
Suddenly he relized, he had completely frozen in his step, and was staring at her. He felt like an ass. She did seem to care though.
"Inuyasha.." While he was lost in his thoughts, she had walked right up to him, and was now a foot away from him. He did the only thing his mind could process at the moment. Hugging her.
His hug surprised her, but she enjoyed it. He always did give the best hugs. "Kagome.." She heard him whisper, and had she not been a hanyou now, she probably wouldnt have heard him. "Are you okay?" He asked. She nodded. He hugged her tighter.
'Tell her now!' The voice in his head yelled. 'ITS NOW OR NEVER! '. Why wouldnt that voice just shut up already?
"Kagome," He started. But Kagome finished it for him. "Inuyasha, I need to talk to you."
He nodded and picked her up bridal style, and jumped off into the forest.
+ A Few Minutes Later +
"Inuyasha, I could have walked myself." Kagome stated as he put her down. He had brought them to the one place he thought they could talk alone, Goshinboku. "Feh." Was his reply. Kagome just sighed.
"What did you want to talk about?" He asked. She just looked at him, not knowing how to put her thoughts into words. She was going to say that she could smell his emotions better than he could smell hers, so she knew he was about as nervous as she was right now, but she kept her mouth shut.
"Well?" He said, growing more nervous.
"Did you mean what you said?" She asked.
"Huh?" Came his doy-ish responce.
She sighed. This wasnt going to be easy. "About Kikyo..."
The lightbulb went off in his head. "You mean...that what you did...would have had to be done eventually?"
"Yes."
Inuyasha took a deep breath. This wasnt going to be easy.
"Yea. I did mean it."
She looked at him curiously.
"Kagome, you didnt deserve to walk around without a peice of your soul. And she didnt deserve to have to walk around the Earth like she did."
"But..are you mad? I mean...that you wont see her? Or...that you wont be able to go to hell with her?" Kagome let her bangs cover her eyes, not knowing if she was ready for his responce.
Inuyasha saw this, and his heart sank. 'Maybe...she does feel the same as me? No..she cant...right?'.
"Kagome.." He whispered, trying to find the words. He didnt want to screw this up.
"Its okay Inuyasha. You dont have to answer to that. I know its none of my buisness." She looked up at him, and forced a smile.
"Let me finish." He said flattly. She gulped and nodded, urging him to continue.
"Kagome, I...I wasnt going to go to hell with her. I desided I couldnt. I relized this a while ago...just when I relized..." He was to nervous to finish the sentence. So after a second, he just said "FEH."
"When you relized what Inuyasha? You can tell me." She looked into his eyes, and he could see the worry in hers.
"When I relized.." He took another deep breath. Why was he having such a hard time breathing?! "When...WHENIRELIZEDILOVEYOU." He said the last words so fast, he couldnt even understand them, let alone Kagome.
"Wait..what?" She was so confused now. Why were men so confusing?!
'Its now or never...' He put his hand on the back of her neck and brought her closer to him.
She felt like her heart was going to come out of her chest at that very moment.
"I said, I love you." He FINALLY blurted out. But he didnt give her any time to respond, because he crashed his mouth onto hers.
'This cant be real!' Kagome thought. Her eyes were still open, and it took her a second to relize that this, was infact, real. 'KISS HIM BACK YOU BAKA!' She mentally cursed at herself.
'Shes probably grossed out. I knew she couldnt see me as anything more than a friend..' He was about to pull away and await the 'sits' that were probably already forming on her mouth, when he felt her press her mouth closer to his, and open it, and he followed. Their tongues battled it out, and although he won, he had to admit, she put up a good fight.
When they both felt they would passout from lack of oxygen, they pulled away.
"Kagome?"
"I love you too, Inuyasha."
She pressed her lips to his in a light kiss, before wrapping her arms around him and burring her face in his chest. He wrapped his arms around her waist, and burried his noes in the crook of her neck.
"I wont ever leave you...I promise.." He said. He ment it with all his heart.
Kagome pulled away, just enough to look him in the eye. She took his hands from around his waist, and held them in hers. Inuyasha, to say the least, was slightly confused.
"Inuyasha, I know its kind of fast but..." She took a big gulp.
'Is she gonna say..what I think she is?' He hopped to kami she was.
"Will you be my mate, Inuyasha?" The moment the words left her mouth, she bit her lip, wishing she kept her mouth shut. "Im sorry..I shouldnt have.." She bowed her head.
"Kagome. Look at me." She did.
"You know..InuYokia mate for life, right?"
She nodded.
"And..you still want...me to be your mate? Kagome...youll be stuck with me for forever. Are you sure?"
Kagome let out a giggle. He was so cute when he was nervous like this. "Inuyasha, I wouldnt have asked if I didnt want to." She cupped his cheek. "I want to be with you Inuyasha. Forever." She didnt care what he knew anymore. It was out. There was no turning back now.
He couldnt believe it. She wanted to be his mate. SHE wanted to be HIS MATE. Mate for life. Kagome. His mate. Wow.
He smilied at her. "Did you really need to ask?" He took her hand from his cheek, and kissed it. "But we have to do this right." She looked at him questioningly.
He turned around, and acted as if he was streching, like a athlete about to perform. He turned back to her.
"Kagome, hanyou Ohyaku. Will you, do me the pleasure, of being my mate? Being stuck with me for forever, 'sitting' me into oblivion, having to cook me ramen, and not geting mad when I beat Kouga's face in for calling you 'his women'?" She was giggling now, and he couldnt help but laugh himself, but he put on a more serious face as he said, "But in return, I give you my undying love. My heart. My soul. My body. My everything. Do you accept?"
She looked at him, with the most love in her eyes Inuyasha had ever seen a woman give a man. "I accept Inuyasha. And I also, give you my love. I will trust you with my heart, my body, soul, and my life."
She kissed him deeply, as he picked her up and carried her into the forest, eager to make her his mate as soon as physically possible.
I thought that was cute. :]
