Chapter 3 Washing Sin Away

She was naked as she approached the spring. She ran right into the cool water. Washing it over her body, washing the stench of cologne off her skin. Repurifying her impure body. She felt tainted and black when she thought of what happened behind closed doors. The warm wind blew across her back and she thought of her sister. Stirring her imagination.

“Kyoko.” She whispered and she appeared before her, she too naked and bathing. “Kyoko, I missed you so much.” Her eyes were filled with black angst and gray fear that she would leave any second.

“Kagome.” Her name was somewhat of an echo. “-`Gome are you alright? You look sick, and tired. Is it …him?” she stepped towards her sister a hand reaching out. Kagome let her head fall down and the tears fall, slightly held back, her whimpers muffled and her voice strained.

“Yes. It is.” She shot her head up and her sister was gone. Her mouth hanging open in the hurt she felt of being left alone again. “You were just a mirage. Not really here.” The tears fell freely now.

She finished bathing in silence the tears not stopping for a second. “Kyoko I still miss you so much.” She dressed in her clothes forgoing the underwear and bra. He left her marked in those clothes. She'd burn them later, when every body was sleeping. As she walked back the bushes around her shuffled, she stopped. Already knowing that someone had been watching her..

“Can I help you?” she talked toward the bushes around her. Sango materialized in front of her, grabbing her hand, she smiled and tugged her along towards the hut with out a word.

“You can cheer up for me.” She finally answered as she lifted the door out of the way to enter the hut. She smiled a little at the thought of having someone to hold her hand as she just drifted from day to day, with the dark cloud hanging over her head.
