New Beginning

Sesshoumaru dodged a black lightening bolt fired directly at his head. He then looked over to see Rin rushing in with her katana slashing at his stomach. Because she only came up to his knees it took quite a bit of effort to jump up and make an effective attack. So far she had only been using her youki. Since that was the focus of her training ever since she had absorbed both Kaminari Ken and Kyshin's power. She felt, as if she was reborn, being youkai was the best thing that ever happened since Sesshoumaru-sama had rescued her from death. He sent his fist at her; her body became black lightening and zipped behind him onto his back. Rin laced her fingers into his hair, but couldn't bring herself to electrocute the silvery almost snow like locks. Sesshoumaru twirled around knocking Rin to the ground. She slowly crawled backward, fearing his next attack. Seeing the fear in her eyes made Sesshoumaru advance hoping she would defend herself. He reached out and snatched her up. Suddenly Rin went limp as if she were a doll and looked at Sesshoumaru with blank eyes. This confused the youkai lord and also caught him off guard. Rin took advantage and lunged out of his grasp and onto his face, blinding him. Sesshoumaru grabbed the back of her black training outfit. But he could not remove her before she set a sweet peck upon the moon that adorned his forehead. Sesshoumaru held her away from himself looking into her eyes searching for what could have motivated her to kiss him.

"Awl! Now isn't this sweet." A voice from atop a tree shouted out

"Inuyasha." Sesshoumaru said coldly dropping Rin immediately

"I'm happy to see you too." Inuyasha mocked

"Where is your mate?"

"Ah, she's at the back at the village. Thought I'd come by and take Rin to her for her lessons."

"Rin will not be leaving the safety of my territory."

"Don't you think you're being a little over protective, what do you think we're gonna to do the girl?"

Sesshoumaru narrowed his gaze, "Come Rin, it's to go inside." Sesshoumaru led Rin to the front entrance of his palace, "Tell your miko that if she wishes to train Rin, she must come here. But I doubt she can offer any training that will be more useful than the training I'm installing myself."

"Why do you have to be so damn stuck up!"

By the time Inuyasha had finished what he was saying, both Sesshoumaru and Rin had made their exit.

"Keh. I rather not have Kagome around that horny dog anyway. No way she's comin' here to train his brat."

Inuyasha bounded back towards the village as Sesshoumaru watched after him. I will train Rin to be a great youkai warrior with power that will almost rival my own. She will be perfect in every strategy.

"Sesshoumaru-sama."

Sesshoumaru looked down at the small girl clinging to his leg lovingly. If Jaken were around he would have immediately removed her from his being. But since they were alone, he let himself relax and picked her up. He held her close and took in her scent. It hadn't changed much; in fact it was wonderful. It seemed as if Kaminari Ken and Kyushin had only let their youki reside in her and not their youkai blood.

"I love you Sesshoumaru-sama." Rin leaned her head on his shoulder

Sesshoumaru stroked her hair in a silent response. She would be a force to be reckoned with when she came of age. And when that happened, he would be the most feared lord of all youkai history.
