I love you Kagome

 

 

 

Kagome opened slowly her eyes. The sunlight was so powerfull that she had to blink several times before she could fully open them. She rolled on her back and streched her arms.

 

“Hmmm…such a beautiful day”, she said with a wide smile.

 

A voice coming from downstairs could be heard.

 

“Kagome”

 

“Yes mama”

 

“Breakfast is ready, come on down”

 

“Haaai”, she answered and jumped off bed.

 

She stood for few seconds then went to open the window. The fresh air filled the room as the pleasant breeze made her close her eyes. She took a deep breath and smiled. The sun was gently caressing her face. And then a sudden shadow covered the it.

 

“What…?”, she said confused and opened her eyes.

 

In front of her was the hanyou staring with an angry face.

 

“Inu…Yasha”, she managed to say. “What are you doing here?”

 

“I came to take you back”, he said with an angry tone.

 

“What? Why? I have to go to school you know, I can't stay in the Feudal Era all the time”, she defended herself. She took two steps back as the face of the hanyou became fierce.

 

“You stupid wench, we have to collect the shards and then you can stay here all the time you want”

 

“Ha! Like you can do anything without me. Now go away I have to go to school I'll come back tonight”

 

“Why the hell didn't you tell me that you were coming here?”

 

“Huh?”, she said surprised and stared at his face.

 

Inuyasha got even angrier and jumped off the edge of the window. He came closer and narrowed his eyes.

 

“Why didn't you tell me that you're coming here?”

 

Kagome took another step back. A sudden feeling of fear crossed her. She doesn't remember the last time she saw him so furious. She opened her mouth, but the words refused to come out.

 

“You should've asked me”, he continued “Stupid wench I wouldn't have let you come back”

 

Her fear turned to anger hearing his words. “Ask for his permission, what am I his child?”, she thought.

 

“Since when do I have to ask your permission huh?”

 

“Since I take care for your pathetic human ass. What if a youkai attacked you in the woods on your way to the well?”, he hollered.

 

“I'm not completely helpless you know”, she screamed back.

 

“Keh!”

 

“Don't patronize me dog-boy”

 

He came closer and grabbed her by her arms and shook her as hard as he could.

 

“Are you completely reckless? I can't believe I'm wasting my time with you” , his eyes narrowed again and his face came closer to hers.

 

“I…I'm wasting…your time…”, she shrugged and stuttered because he was so close to her.

 

“Yes you are. We should be searching for the shards, but instead I argue with you because you never do anything right. Stupid wench.”

 

He wanted to continue but the sudden smell of her tears filled his nostrils. He watched her eyes and saw the tears flowing. His heart softened, but he wasn't ready to let go.

 

She blinked couple of times to stop crying and looked angry at him. But beyond that anger he could see something else too it was sadness.

 

“Osuwari” , she said cold.

 

The hanyou crashed to the ground his face first and she continued.

 

“Inuyasha no baka. Go home and leave me alone. I don't want to see you anymore”

 

“Keh”, he snorted as he stood “That works for me”, he said.

 

“If that works for you then why did you even bothered to come here?”, she screamed in a mad fit.

 

“Because…because you scared me half to death when I came back and couldn't find you anywhere”, he stopped realizing what he said. His eyes were wide opened and a hint of blush appeared on his checks.

 

She looked shocked for a moment and was about to apologize but Inuyasha turned his back on her and snorted.

 

“Keh! I should've known that you would do something as stupid as coming back without telling me.

 

She stopped swallowing hard. She could feel that she was about to cry again. “ I think you should leave”, she said instead. She thought about saying that she was sorry that she worried him, but as usual his cruel words won't let her tell what she really means. He turned and faced her. He was still angry but his eyes asked her to forgive him. She didn't see it though. Kagome lifted her hand and showed him the open window.

 

“Go home”, she whispered.

 

He was about to say something, but he agreed that it was better for him to leave.

 

She shook her head in disappointment. “Why does he always have to be such a baka.” , she thought. Her mother's voice could be heard again from downstairs.

 

“Kagome dear? Are you coming ?you'll be late for school”

 

“Hai mama”, she screamed and got out of her bedroom.

“Kagomeee!”

 

Kagome turned and saw her three friends running towards her.

 

“Kagome you're feeling better right?”, Eri asked.

 

“Yes much better”, she smiled. “If only they knew”, she said to herself. “If only they knew that she was in love with the most selfish, cruel and stupid boy ever to exist. They always end up fighting, he never lets her to say what she really means. He never lets her to apologize, he doesn't let her love him, or tell him what she feels for him. He doesn't let her do all this things because he never does any of them. Inuyasha acts so cold all the time. Why didn't he come to tell me that he was worried instead of all that screaming and calling me stupid wench? He probably was angrier that I left without his permission than the fact that he was actually worried about me. I'll never know why he really came in my room”

 

“Kagome?”

 

Eri's voice interrupted her thoughts.

 

“Let's go to WacDonald shall we?” Ayumi said.

 

“Hai”, Kagome agreed. “She was home after all, why not enjoy her staying”

 

They were about to go when a voice behind Kagome cried.

 

“Higurashi”

 

She turned but she already knew who that was.

 

“Hojo-kun” she smiled.

 

“Higurashi how you've been lately?'

 

“I've been better arigato Hojo-kun”

 

“I'm so happy for you. So are you free tonight?”

 

“To…night” she stuttered. “Why?”

 

“We can go and see a movie or something”, he said so happy that his eyes sparkled. You know we didn't quite have the chance to have a real date.

 

Kagome was about to answer, but the three girls with her took her aside.

 

“Kagome this is your opportunity”, said one.

 

“Yes Kagome you should accept the invitation, Hojo is such a nice guy and he really cares about you”, said another.

 

Kagome stood in the middle embarrassed with a strange look on her face. She wished so bad to be anywhere but here in the situation. The girls finished their talking and brought Kagome back to Hojo.

 

“She will be delighted to accept your invitation”, Ayumi said with a grin.

 

“Nani?”, Kagome added. “I…I am?”

 

“Yes you are dear”, another girl whispered in her ears.

 

Hojo was so happy that he didn't even waited for her answer. He left and said over his shoulder. “I'll pick you up at seven”.

 

Kagome stood shocked with an angry smile. She wasn't exactly upset, but she wasn't quite eager to go on a date with Hojo. She sighed and followed the girls to the fast food. They didn't even noticed that she was left behind, or that she wasn't so thrilled about this date.
