“A night out”

 

Kagome was walking in between her two girl friends.

 

“So how is your boyfriend?” asked one.

 

Kagome's eyes got wider and an embarrassment tear appeared on her forehead. She started to stutter.

 

“Umm…he's…I guess he's alright.”

 

“Why do they always have to open this subject” she thought.

 

“Is he still a two timer?” asked the other.

 

Kagome rises one fist and clutches her teeth. Her eyes were closed as she got madder.

 

“Yeah with that girl. How did you find out he was cheating on you?”

 

“Did you caught them together?” asked another.

 

Kagome's teeth clutched harder. Her face turned red. She even stopped listening. She counted till ten then left the girls without a word.

 

“Eh? Kagome?” said unsure Ayumi watching her leaving.

 

“What's wrong with her?” asked the other.

 

“I guess we said something wrong”

 

They both sighed thinking that they will never find out more about Kagome's weird relationship.

“WHAT?”

 

Shippou runs and hides behind Miroku. The monk had a tear drop on his forehead (anime style).

 

“That stupid wench why does she always leave without telling me” yelled Inuyasha.

 

“Maybe it's because you always yell at her not to go” said Sango with a suspicious face.

 

Miroku and Shippou nodded.

 

“I do not. I just point her that we have a lot of things to do here. More important things than her stupid school” he shouted annoyed by the ironic faces of his friends.

 

Hoshi sighed.

 

“Why don't you go after her if you are so worried” added the small kitsune.

 

“Keh…I don't…care” he stuttered because everyone had an ironic eyebrow risen.

 

“Temee, believe whatever the hell you want” was he's last words before leaving.

 

“He's worried.” Said Sango.

 

“Hn” the others nodded.

 

Inuyasha ran into the woods and had that strange feeling that he had last night. Only that now he was sure that concerned Kikyou. He looked for her since he woke up this morning, that's why he missed Kagome leaving. He was worried like hell and had no idea where to find the miko.

 

He kept looking until the sun set.

 

“Kikyou…where are you? Are you safe?” he whispered. “ I hope you are. Until we meet I have another business to take care of” he said feeling his anger growing again.

Kagome sighed exasperated.

 

“I hate math” she complains as she tries to concentrate. “ I miss going out with my friends. All I do now when I'm coming back here is trying to catch up with the lessons at school.” She sighed again.

 

“And in the Feudal Era I get chased by demons. I have such a busy life” she made a funny “dramatic” face.

 

For an instance she felt like someone was watching her. She said it was nothing but then she turned towards the window and saw a very angry face.

 

“Inu…Yasha?” she managed to say remaining stunned.

 

“Why the hell did you leave without telling me? AGAIN?” he yelled as he jumped off the window.

 

“'Cause you weren't there baka” she pouted.

 

He knew it was true but he'd rather die than admit that he was wrong to be angry.

 

“You should have waited for me” he added.

 

“Why? Where were you?”

 

“There” he thought “you looked for it now you found it”.

 

“I…This is not about me, this is about you leaving….”

 

“You looked for her didn't you?”

 

He stopped and watched the ground. He hated to see that sadness in her eyes when she realizes that he went after Kikyou.

 

“Didn't you” she asked again, but this time on a lower tone.

 

That made him watch her. She was looking down and he could smell her tears. He grabbed her arms and forced her to watch him.

 

“Hey stop crying? I didn't find her and the only reason I looked for her was `cause I'm sure something bad happened to her. Don't be so suspicious all the time.”

 

“You speak like I don't have any reasons to be.”

 

“You don't” he said shooking her.

 

“Hm” she snorted.

 

He let go as he heard the phone ringing. Kagome answered reluctant.

 

“Oh hey Hojo-kun”

 

…

 

“Tonight?” she asked and watched the hanyou with “evil” eyes.

 

The hanyou felt impatient for a second. “Whatta hell is she planning on doing now” he said to himself.

 

“Sure, sure. Can I bring a friend?”

 

…

 

“Oh that's great I'll see you then.” She hung up with a grin.

 

“What did that Hojo thing want?”

 

“He invited me to go out tonight.” She said opening her closet to pick a dress.

 

“Nani?” he's face turned red “ and I suppose you go, right?”

 

“Of course. There's no reason to be so suspicious all the time Inuyasha. You can come if you want.”

 

“Oh so that's what it is. Revenge.” He thought.

 

“Will you come?” she asked with a grin.

 

“Do you really have to go out, we need to get back.”

 

“No way. I want a night out. I miss doing this. I'm sick of being chased by demons and math. I want some peace for a change.”

 

He pouted and surprised her.

 

“I'm sorry” he mumbled.

 

“About what?” she asked amazed.

 

“About the chasing part.”

 

“Inuyasha…”

 

She came closer and looked at him.

 

“I don't mind as long as you're beside me.”

 

He smiled and they both blushed.

 

“I don't like the idea of you going out with that guy”

 

“Hehe! I know that. So let's go out together.”

 

“Just us?” He asked embarrassed but hopeful.

 

“Yeah baka. Just us” she added with a smile.

 

Kagome took him to the Mall. She thought that was the only place where people wouldn't notice too much his red weird clothes. They saw half a movie. Only half `cause at one point when the monster appeared on the screen Inuyasha jumped on it a shred it to pieces. They ran from shop to shop. Kagome tried to make him try some modern clothes, but he refused.

 

“I should have known” she said exasperated watching the clothes she picked for him.

 

Kagome got into a swimming suits shop. They were both constantly blushing each time the girl got off the dressing room to ask his opinion. She finally decided that it should be best to buy it by herself.

 

After four hours he was caring her and the huge packages home.

 

“I'm exhausted” she sighed.

 

“Keh. I bet you are. You didn't missed a damn shop”

 

“Gomen and thank you for coming with me.”

 

He smiled. It was one of the happiest day of his life. He loved so much to see her laugh. He realized that she probably missed her time. In that moment he noticed the sacrifices that she does to be near him.

 

“Arigato.”

 

“Eh?” she asked surprised “What for?”

 

“For being beside me all the time.”

 

She smiled and hugged his shoulders putting her chin on his shoulder.

 

“I chose to do that.”

 

“I know that's why I'm thanking you”

 

She smiled again and kissed him on his cheek as they headed to her house.
