Ch.5 A Day for Surprises.

The next day they all woke up tired. None of them had gotten any sleep due to the noise coming from the hut next to theirs. Kagome and Inu-Yasha had gotten married yesterday and had had a pleasant wedding night.
“How did you sleep my dear Sango?”
“Not so well. I could have sworn I heard them again this morning at it again.”
“Believe me you are right. I heard them too. And I thought maybe we could try some of that stuff t..”
He was cut off by Sango slapping him across the face. She hit him so hard a red handprint appeared on his face moments later. The monk just smiled and backed up hoping he wouldn’t get hit again.
“When’s breakfast?” Asked Shippo who had not only just woke up he slept through all the noise last night too.
“We’ll eat when they get here Shippo.”
Shippo looked on angrily. He was hungry and who knew when the two of them would get out of bed.
“Good morning all.” Said a soft voice from the doorway.
“I trust you all slept well last night. I know I did.”
“Yeah, we know you two did. And NO we didn’t.”
Kagome just smiled and sat down near Sango. The two of them talked for a minute and then stated to prepare breakfast. They had fresh fruit and some left over fish. As soon as Kagome began to eat her fish a strange feeling came over her. She stood up and bolted for the door. No sooner did she get around the hut than she threw up. Sango worried about her ran after her to see what was the matter.
“Kagome? Kagome are you ok?”
“Um, I think so. I just felt a little…” She stopped and began to throw up again.
“I think you better go back to your hut and lay down for a little while.”
Kagome shook her head in agreement and headed back to her and Inu-Yasha’s hut. When Sango returned they all looked at her.
“Where’s Kagome?” Asked Inu-Yasha.
“She wasn’t feeling to well so she went back to your hut to lie down for a little while.”
Inu-Yasha smiled and got up and went back to their hut to see for him self. When he got there he saw Kagome laying down very pale looking. As he got closer to her he began to sense something different about her. Almost like there were 3 auras in the room instead of two. He thought to himself for a minute. “Did what we did last night get Kagome pregnant?” Then he thought “Or was it…” He shook his head. He didn’t know what to think. As he neared her side he definitely knew she was pregnant.
“Kagome, wake up I need to tell you something” he said in a hushed tone in case anyone was outside listening in.
Kagome turned her head to look at him.
“What is it Inu-Yasha?” She said in a low voice.
“Kagome, you want to have kids right?”
“Yeah, why do you ask?”
“Well Kagome…your…your pregnant now!”
She looked at him shocked. She couldn’t believe that this had happened.
“For real. I am?”
“Hai.”
Kagome stood up and jumped around. She couldn’t believe the great news.
“I gotta go tell Sango.”
She ran through the door way and into the next hut.
“Sango, I need to tell you something.” Kagome could barely contain her happiness.
“Sango, I’m pregnant.”
Sango stood there shocked. She couldn’t believe what her friend had just told her. The fact that it was Kagome’s first time and she got pregnant was astonishing. After a minute of shock she turned to Kagome.
“Wow, I’m so happy for you. But Kagome, wasn’t that your first time having sex?”

A/N: Ok, hope you liked the chapter. I worked really hard on it. Yes the ending is a cliffhanger. Post my next chapter tomorrow.
