I'm ending this story in a few more chapters. If your wondering what happened to me I'll tell you, if not skip down.

Here's what happened: First I had tons of homework then finals, then a knockdown drag out fight with my muse over each chapter of each one of my working fic.

I've rewritten this chapter (from scratch! When I finished I realized I hated the original thus.) So sorry!

The beginning of the end

If you hadn't noticed the two kids have been surprisingly absent, no? Well ever since Shippou meet Rin the two have been inseparable.

They, together, have also seen almost everything. They saw a lot including the Inuyasha carrying Kiya and the dance when they mingled. Natasha noticed that the to stubborn pups (inu & Kiya) were attracted to each other as well.

So what does this mean? The two foxes and human started plotting while the four were talking to Midoriko.

They wanted to get these two together. Natasha knew that it needed to be big.

Her plan was to have the children bring, get, or keep the two in the dojo, then lock the door via magic.

Inuyasha and Sessy training was a bonus. Kiya followed Kagome into the dojo, and the two watched the boys train.

Eventually Rin and Shippou found a reason to get their parents and dragged them out of the dojo. Then Shippou and Kiya used fox magic to lock the doors. (What?)

Kiya and Inuyasha…

"Do you think they realize that you set this all up?"

"Not a chance Midoriko."

"Are you sure that you are dog and not fox?"

"Of course I am. I do not force the children to do a damn thing. I just put them in situations that work for what I want."

"Cutting hairs Inutashio. I'm surprised the former god of fate let you have the position considering you mess with the people so much."

"Well! That idiot allowed onigumo to be born thus setting the mess with the jewel and hurting my family. He owed me and I informed him of this. The four souls under your protection chose interesting fate. Two followed the first protector of the jewel and their symbol. Two went away from the group and one even took a body to protect the other."

"Yes, but your getting off track. Everybody knew you that would be hands on, so why would he give you his position even blackmailed?"

"Well… You know that people can become ghosts, right? Imagine if I chose to do so and informed my oldest son, sesshomaru, about the god of fate causing such a mess with evil and his family. *Mischievous smirk* Even gods have fear, and my dear son is a master at bringing it out. The damn idiot is supposed to keep a balance but no he had a temper tantrum and thus the evil muck."

"So that's why you brought Kagome from the future."

"Of course I couldn't let the stupid spider monkey (Naraku) get that much time to ruin the world. I also think my family needs a little happiness."

Broke the door Shippou charmed. The poor kid just didn't have the experience to hold up to the two.

They knew magic when they smelt it and they knew it wasn't Kagome's and it had a fox-like feel to it. (What you don't think that Inuyasha would know what Shippou's magic looked like after a while)

They being the mature, calm, rational, adults they are (author is gagging at the amount of sarcasm) decided to try and strangle him.

Shippou failed to escape them. Kiya has as big of a temper as Inuyasha. Kagome and Sesshomaru walked in and stopped them.

Sesshomaru was holding back Inuyasha with a stoic face though his whole body screamed agitation.

Kagome just held back the hotheaded Kiya.

The Lord and lady had no clue what was going on, so Kagome being Kagome just asked.

"What are you doing?"

"Trying to kill the little brat."

"Inuyasha… You wanted to hurt my pup?"

"Uh…"

"Kagome, we apologize, but the kit lock us in the dojo."

"Shippou…"

"MOMMY! It was Natasha's idea!"

"Shippou! How could…"

"Mate, Natasha is a fox and noted for her spells and tricks." (Damn! Sessy is EVIL! Sessy: Damn Right!)

Natasha being the unlucky person she is was walking by the hallway they were in.

Inuyasha and Kiya saw her and had a You-are-dead look.

Natasha said Shit and ran.

So what did you think? Don't ask me where I got this idea for this chapter, because I don't. As you can see Natasha is not nor will be a major character, just a catalyst and comic relief.

I'm sure that you were thinking, What the hell was Inutashio and that whole thing about, right? Well… Ask my insane muse.

Star Flame Dragon- WHIMP! I wanted that scene to put to rest the whole midoriko part of the fic and show who the god of fate I babbled on about was. I don't know if Japan ever had a god of fate, but oh well. That's all from me.
