The arrow struck true...the creature's left leg disintegrated from the hip down. With a ear-piercing screech, he plummeted down the hill he'd been descending, the very earth shuddering from the impact.
"What the...? That bastard's fucking HUGE!" InuYasha exclaimed, still glaring daggers at his half brother then turning his golden sights to Kagome who was looking rather shell shocked at the moment.
"So vulgar, like the half-bread you are," SesshoMaru sneered in disgust, "I'm feeling rather magnanimous today so leave, now...escape with your bitch while you still have a chance."
Kagome stood in shocked silence, not sure if she was more alarmed by the fact that this creature was regenerating his limb at a staggering rate, seemingly unaffected by the purifying power of her arrow.
For once, ignoring the insults hurled at him from the tai youkai, InuYasha hurled towards Kagome as the creature--leg nearly fully intact minus a steadily closing portion of flesh on his mid thigh--lunged at her, claws extended towards his prey, and...was too late.
"Kagomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!"
