Chapter 9
The memories came back to Inuyasha and hit him like a boulder. She was the girl who talked back and was the first person to really treat him like a human instead of either a monster or hero.
“Wench what are, you doing here!” Inuyasha exclaimed.
“Well I'm here to pick up some medicine for priestess Kaede and I would appreciate it if you refrain from calling me wench.” Kagome expertly answered.
“Feh fine I'm leaving.” With that Inuyasha left and bounded into the lush forest.
`Wow that was a sight that I never thought that I would see again but his temper is still the same.' Kagome thought ruefully to herself.
“Dumb wench she should keep to herself' but even Inuyasha couldn't lie that her scent was fresh and pure unlike many of the other villagers and it contained a refreshing flowery aroma as well.
He leapt onto a branch and started to go back to his father's castle once more.
Kagome knew that now she could never catch some shut eye so she left tripping of the various roots and other underground tumors that made fun her clumsiness.
“Oh darn!” Kagome mutter for the countless time as her long kimono caught on yet another root.
`I'm never going to wear a long kimono when going on a trip ever again!' she thought to herself as she bent down to untangle the fabric.
Whoosh! A demon scratched her back and left a humongous bloody mark.
“Aaaahhhh!” Kagome screamed as she went down.
`Oh my god I think I'm going to die!' Was the last thought that graced Kagome before she fainted.
Sorry that it is soo short I just want to thank the reviewers Kirie and Krilaia thanks soo much and now the reviews for non media miner people are allowed so keep reviewing Kay! Anyways you guys gave me some inspiration and motivation to keep going. Sorry again for the short chappie you have to admit the cliffy is perfect.
