"Hey what's that light?" Kagome pointed to a pink light coming from the hole in the chest of priestess Midoriko. Inuyasha shielded his eyes from the light and grunted in reply.

"What?"

"Don't know." Inuyasha was amazed at the light too. Kagome took a step forward. Inuyasha's hand shot forward to stop her. Kagome slapped his hands back as Inuyasha stared at her in indigation. Kagome started towards the statue. Using her hands, Kagome's hand went through the hole. Closing her eyes, she could hear a voice talking to her. Suddenly, she blacked out.

"Inuyasha."

Inuyasha looked confused. "What's gotten into you? Do you really think you're kami?" Inuyasha teased. But his smile faded when Kagome shot him a glower that didn't seem like Kagome at all.

"You're the hanyou of the Shikon no Tama."

Inuyasha looked even more confused. "What the fuck? Kagome wake up!" He started running towards Kagome's floating figure. Kagome's hand shot out and he got thwarted back. "K-K-Kagome?"

"This girl is the miko of the Shikon no Tama. You finally made it here. I thought that you'll never get the clue. I've been talking to you for the past few months. Our destinies lies in your hands. The miko will depend entirely on you to protect her while she will do her best to purify the Shikon no Tama. Should you fail though, the whole world will perish. Naraku has already gotten the last shard when you made your mistake. I want you to go back with the priest and the exterminator and collect the whole jewel back. Only then I'll be free. You'll recover whatever that happened during the period when you were in 500 years ago. Remember Inuyasha, a hanyou is...not... weak." With that, the cave returned to it's original colour and Kagome fell to the ground.

"Are you sure you're talking to me?" Inuyasha stepped up and wanted to touch the statue. Instead, he got thwarted once more and fell to the entrance. A voice sounded.

"You can't touch me Inuyasha. Hanyous are impure. Same as youkai. Don't be foolish and get yourself purified. Practice your skills, then come back and see me. I'll open the timeslip once more." The voice faded.

Hanyous? Youkais? "Crazy." Inuyasha pulled Kagome onto his back and made his way to the entrance. When he reached there though, two people were standing there. The lady was holding some sort of necklace. The man was holding a metal rod. The lady grinned and slipped the necklace over Inuyasha's neck.

"Welcome back, Inuyasha." Miroku slammed the rod onto Inuyasha's head. After much consideration, Miroku rubbed his chin."You'll take Inuyasha, I take Kagome."

"I don't think so." Sango slapped Miroku's hand away as she lifted Kagome. "Pervert."

Miroku faked a sigh. "I didn't realise you have such little faith in me, Sango. I'm a priest. Do I look like a lecher to you?" Miroku faked a innocent look.

"Yes, Houshi-sama." Sango snapped and headed towards the car. "Houshi-sama?"

"Yes, my darling?"

Sango blushed. "Do you know how to drive?"

"Not really."

"Now what?"

"I've got an idea. I'll drive. If Inuyasha wakes up in any point of time, use this-" he lifted up the rod, "to smack him."

"Yes, Houshi-sama."

On the road, it was quiet. Kagome and Inuyasha were still unconscious. When they reached the Higurashi shrine, Sango lifted Kagome onto her back and started towards the shrine without waiting for Miroku. Miroku, muttering something about not trusting and stupid dogs, pulled Inuyasha by the ankles towards the shrine, leaving his head dragging on the ground. When they reached the shrine steps, Sango was getting irritated with the "Kong, Kong" sound coming from behind her. "What are you- HOUSHI-SAMA!!!" Sango screamed.

"Yes?"

"HOW CAN YOU DRAG INUYASHA ON THE FLOOR LIKE THIS?!" Sango yelled in obvious outrage.

"Well, at least we can be assured that he will remain unconscious if he remains like this." Miroku shrugged. "Have you brought our weapons?"

"Yes, Houshi-sama." Sango said between breathes.

When the finally reached the well house, Sango gently placed Kagome on the ground. By the time Miroku got there, "Inuyasha's face and body were dirtied with mud and dust. Sango stare at him in disgust. "You know, Sango, we should be thankful that this happened. If not for them, we wouldn't have this extra years as bonus lives without growing old." Sitting down beside Sango, they stared at the couple on the floor and wondered when will they wake up.

"What the...?" Inuyasha's head hurt alot from the bang on his head. The last thing he remembered were two people saying he was welcomed back. Looking around, Inuyasha stared at the unfamilar place and frowned. He gave a loud yelp as he discovered Kagome on the ground beside him.

"Oh, You're awake. Remember me, Sango?"

"And me? The lecherous monk?"

"There's another one. A younger one."Inuyasha rubbed his head. "Who the fuck knocked me?"

Miroku and Sango sighed. Things never changed. "Shippou, you mean? He's still in the past, waiting for you. We waited for you for twenty years. It's time to walk back to memory lane now."

"Ohhh....." Kagome sat up and moaned. She yawned and looked around, not noticing the three audience. Suddenly she came face to face with Inuyasha. "AHH!!" Kagome screamed.

"Damn it, wench. Don't scream."

"Why are we here?" Kagome asked, ignoring Inuyasha's comment.

"These two saners apparently think that we're some sort of antiques." Inuyasha grumbled. Kagome followed his gaze and squinted.

"S-S-Sango?" Kagome stuttered.

"Don't be afraid Kagome. Now we are going to explain. Everything." Sango assured her.

"Yep." Miroku chimed in. "So Kagome, you might like to sit on my lap-" A loud smack was heard. Kagome closed her eyes against the sound. When she opened her eyes, a hand mark was on Miroku's face. "Ahhh, the mark of love."

"So," Sango continued, ignoring Miroku though she was blushing, "we were resting in a village as usual, as houshi-sama noticed a-" Sango coughed, "a black cloud lingering over the mansion's house as usual and we were resting. In the middle of the night, the both of you were quarreling who won the poker cards. Inuyasha lost of course, and ran out. Kagome chased after him. We didn't hear anything for a long time. Then Kagome screamt. Grabbing Hiraikotsu and the staff, both of us ran out just in time to see the both of you being sucked into the ground. We search for you exactly for one month. Not long after, we went back to the exterminator's cave and Midoriko was waiting for us. She said that both of you had been unlucky enough to be at the place where the door to the other world was facing. It was also the door to reincarnation. Adding to that, both of you were irritating the guards. So they sucked you in as well as the lost souls. Midoriko had done her best by ensuring that both of you will meet on Kagome's fifteen birthday. For some reason, Inuyasha came five years earlier than Kagome. It probably was because you got separated. You were re-borned, Kagome. The Kami of Hell had been merciful enough to let you be reincarnated into the same family you were in. As for Inuyasha, you were the most lucky. Your whole family are youkai. They survived through the 500 years. Including Kouga. Kouga had been waiting for Kagome to turn 15 to look for her. The story of Inuyasha was too confusing. It was said that Mr. Taisho got reborned and Sesshomaru was his son again. Ms Izayoi died giving birth to you. Midoriko opened the time slip for us to pass. She also put a spell on us to stop us from growing in these 15-20 years. However, after today, we will start aging. The spell is gone. Inuyasha, today is your 20th birthday.That's about all."

Inuyasha and Kagome stared at both of them, mouth opened wide.

"Here Inuyasha, your Tetsusaiga. And Kagome, here are your bow and arrows." Sango handed them over. "Now is to re-awaken the skills."

"Wait wait, you expect me to believe you?" Kagome asked.

"Of course. You will be sucked back into hell if you do not abide by the rules."

"What about my company?"

"Don't you understand, Inuyasha? You do not belong here. You belong there, 500 years in the past! All these are an illision! Time stopped for the both of you! Haven't you had enough? We have to defeat Naraku and get the shards back!"

Kagome fainted.
