"You know, Kagome. You do have to relax. We can't have you having pains now and then," Sango sighed. Inuyasha had came across Kikyou. In actual fact, Inuyasha was discussing with Kikyou where Naraku might be. But of course, Kagome didn't know that. She kept her feelings boiled up inside her until she got labour pains. Inuyasha had been so worried that, without second thought, he had picked up Kagome up and headed towards Kaede's village. Kagome had claimed that she was alright but Inuyasha had ignored her until Kagome scream. He put her down unwillingly and stormed off towards the trees.

"I know but, I just can't help it." Kagome picked up a leaf and crushed it to release it's fragrance. "I just... I just don't know what came over me."

"Wench, I found out Naraku's hideout." He looked Kagome up and down, "you had better stay at your time." He commented. Hwe was still angry with Kagome.

"Why?!!" Kagome wailed. "I'm not completely useless! I'm just 6 months pregnant and I'm not even showing alot!"

Inuyasha sighed and kneel down. He grabbed Kagome by the shoulders gently but firmly. "I'm scared, Kagome. I can't let anything happen to you. You've not been going to your checkups. I only-" he was cut off but Kagome's loud gasp. Sango's eyes widened. "Go away Sango." Sango glared at him but did go away.

"I-I-I felt it move!" Kagome's expression changed from shocked to happy. She started to cry.

"Why're you crying? Did it hurt?" Inuyasha asked. He looked hesitantly at Kagome's slightly inflated belly.

Kagome grabbed his hand and place it on her stomach. He frowned and concentrated for any signs of movement. Then he felt it. A surge of pride washed over him. It's his baby! His very own child! He smiled. Hesitantly he lowered his head and leaned to Kagome's stomach. Kagome sighed happily and stretched her legs on the grass, leaning on her hands. She lifted one hand to smooth Inuyasha's hair.

"You know, what we're doing is wrong." Sango pouted.

"It's alright. They would be happy." Miroku assured her. Sango sighed. They had taken out Kagome's camera and Miroku was busy snapping away at the precious moments on the grass in front of them. A thought came to her mind.

"Why was Kirara able to go THROUGH the well?" Sango smacked Miroku's hand away.

"Huh? Oh... Well, should we ask Inuyasha if we can go through? If it's positive, I think we should tell Midoriko before something cropps up."

"Well, I hate to interrupt this moment too but it's a hurry." She strolled over to the couple on the ground. "Inuyasha, we have to return to the well."

"Why?"

"Kirara was able to go through that night. I'm worried. I think we should go try. If we're able to go through, we have to find Midoriko."

"Keh. Fine." Inuyasha stood up, held out a hand to Kagome and headed towards the well with her on his back.

Sango narrowed her gaze at Miroku who was trying to grope her again. His hand jerk back and they ran towards the well. Inuyasha and Kagome was waiting for them. Holding hands, all of them jumped into the well. A blue light erupted around them and finally, they were there. 500 years to the future. Climbing up, they jumped down again. The destination was obvious. They have to head towards Midoriko's cave.

"Midoriko-sama, why were we able to pass through the well?" Miroku asked.

It was total silence. Everyone waited for her to answer. Finally, the cave brightened up. "You being able to cross through the hidden well depends on Inuyasha and Kagome's feelings towards you. If both is positive, you're able to pass through. If not, not only will you not be able to pass through, you'll also be thwarted back by the power of the well. The Shikon no Tama is no longer needed for you to be able to pass through." With that, the light disappeared, leaving the cave cold and abandoned once more.

Our five heros didn't know that right outside the cave was a bee, in middair, watching their every move.

Kagome sighed and patted her belly. It had been three months since she returned. Inuyasha had been kind enough to come back every now and then to see how she has been doing. Adding to that, she had not been going to the check ups. She don't care if she's underweight. The smell of the hospital was enough to make her puke. She know the time was around the corner.

"Kagome, it's time for dinner." Mrs. Higurashi's knocked on her door.

"Yes, mama!" Kagome called out. Then she felt it. The pains. Her knees gave way and she dropped onto the bed,

"Kag-" Mrs. Higurashi saw Kagome rolling around on the bed full of sweat. Dialing the hospital's number, Mrs. Higurashi's hands were trembling.

Kagome yelped in pain as another wave hit her hard. Head sweating, Kagome grasped the sheets tightly. She screamt for her mother, for Inuyasha, for their new-born child. Mrs. Higurashi didn't know what to do.

"Kagome-" Inuyasha jumped in from the window to find the bed empty. The room smelt of sweat and Kagome's fear. "Shit!" Running all the way to Sanako Hospital, Inuyasha prayed that Kagome will be alright.

Upon reaching the hospital, he used his senses, ignoring the weird looks passer-bys sent him. Then she saw her. Kagome yelping in pain on the cart being sent into the labour room. He heard his name as she went in. Rushing in at full speed, he almost knocked down Mrs. Higurashi. "Quick! Go in! Kagome needs you!" Mrs. Higurashi shouted.

"I don't need you to tell me that!" Rushing in, he ran to Kagome's bed side and tried to calm her. Kagome was pale but she was smiling. "Are you alright?" Inuyasha kissed her and held her hand. Hours passed and Kagome was still screaming. "Is she going to be ok?" He grabbed Jineji by the shoulders and shook him violently.

"Let me tend to her!" Jineji shoved Inuyasha away and started to wipe away the blood.

Inuyasha was helpless. His mate was suffering and he could do nothing to help. Suddenly, Jineji shouted, "Push, Kagome! I can see the head already, it's already half out! A little bit more!" Jineji shouted. Inuyasha's eyes widened in surprise. He wanted to see but Kagome was holding on to him so tightly that his flesh were red.

"Mrs. Taisho, you have to push! It's not good for the child to stay inside the mother's womb too long after it's already out. Push!" One of the nurses urged her.

"Kagome, I'm here. I'm here with you. Do your best, Kagome! I'll remain with you forever." Inuyasha held on to her. The unmistakable sound of a baby's wail alarmed Inuyasha. Kagome smiled weakly.

"KAGOME! I see another head! Push!!" Jineji commanded. Kagome's eyes widened in shock. Glaring at Inuyasha, she pushed harder.

Trying with all her might, Kagome pushed. She was running out of time. She wish to sleep. She's dizzy, eyelids heavy. The room was spinning around her. Inuyasha and Jineji's voice were not reckoniasable. No, you must finish giving birth to him first!

How do you know it's a him?

Every mother knows that, Kagome.

She tried but she know she's drained of energy. Finally, another baby's wail came. Smiling weakly, she passed out.

"Congraulations, Mr. and Mrs. Taisho! It's a boy and a girl!" The nurse smiled at him.

Suddenly, Jineji's alarmed voice sounded the room. " Prepare the tools!" He commanded to one of the nurses.

Inuyasha's happy expression turned worried. "No... NO! Tell me this is not fucking happening!!!" Inuyasha yelled.

"Shut up! We have to save her!" Jineji shouted.

Kagome's breathing had slowed by alot. She was already panting in her sleep. The doctors and nurses were trying to save her. She was pale. Very pale. Inuyasha's face was drained of colour. He yell at Kagome to wake up. He shook her, only to be chased out by Jineji. Rushing in again, he found the doctors trying very hard to save her. He knew it was almost over. A picture of Sesshomaru and Midoriko flashed through his mind.

But finding him would take a long time. He didn't know what else to do. Midoriko is also very far from the hospital. " No, No I have to see if those fucking doctors can save her or not. If they are able to, I won't have to find him."

Inuyasha was close to tears now.

"What should I do? I can't leave her alone here. But I have to locate Sesshomaru.I doubt that bastard will help though."

Inuyasha was stuck between two places.

Finally, the doctors stopped working. Inuyasha stared at the limp Kagome on the bed full of blood. Without them saying, he already knew the answer. But her need to hear it. Maybe it's all a dream. "She's dead."

Inuyasha fainted.

"Where's Kagome?" Mrs. Higurashi asked Jineji.

Jineji tried to find a way to avoid the question. "The babies are wonderful!"

"Where's Kagome?!" Mrs. Higurashi asked again, more anxious this time.

"It's a pair!"

"WHERE'S KAGOME?!?!"

"Boy and girl!"

"WHERE'S KAGOME, YOU BIG FAT IDIOT!?!"

"I-I-I failed..."

Mrs. Higurashi was stunned. "Bring her back, Bring her BACK!!!" She screamt.

"I'm not GOD! I wish I could bring her back too!"

"I WANT HER BACK! Inuyasha, WHERE"S INUYASHA?!" She was on her knees now. If she's going to lose her daughter, atleast she still has Inuyasha.

"He-well he fainted in the room."

"Then where is he now?" Mrs. Higurashi was calming down.

"He's in the normal room. Don't worry. It's just a mere shock."

Mrs. Higurashi sighed in relief. But her heart was aching. Her one and only daughter... The only memory of her husband.

"Inuyasha are you alright?"

"Uhh..." Inuyasha sat up. "WHERE'S KAGOME? WHERE'S KAGOME?!!?"

"She's-She's-"

"I know she's fucking dead! Where the fuck is her body?"

"Still in the room..."

Inuyasha jumped out of bed and ran around the hospital in search of the labour room. Walking inside, a huge stench of Kagome's sweat, blood and death hit his nose. Walking over to Kagome's limp body, he took down the cloth that covered her body. Hugging her limp form tightly, he cried. Silently, he picked her up.

Somewhere out there... There will be hope. There must be someone, willing to save her. Someone with magical abilities.
