Laying her down on the soft bed in her room, Inuyasha prayed for the first time in his life. He prayed that Kagome will come back to life. He sat there for hours, yet her body was still dead. He will not give up. He was about to bring Kagome back to Sengoku Jidai when the room brightened up and a man's voice sounded. "Put her down on the bed, Inuyasha."

"Who are you? Can you save her?"

"I am her father. I am able to save her only if you let her down."

Inuyasha put her down. The room was bright and all signs of the blood on Kagome's dress were gone. Kagome was lifted into the air a unusual wind blew her hair from her face. Her sweat and the pale look was gone. Rosy cheeks back, she was warm again. She was back to her usual self. She collasped onto the bed. Inuyasha hung onto that last hope. Kagome's hand moved. Tears of joy flow down his cheeks. "Thank you." was all he managed.

Kagome woke up slowly. "Why am I here? Where're the children?" Kagome asked.

Inuyasha's eyes widened. "Fuck! I left them in the hospital!" Inuyasha smacked himself.

"I never thought I'll live to see this day."

"What?"

"You crying, Inuyasha." Kagome smiled. Inuyasha 'keh'ed and lift her up, jumping over buildings to reach the hospital in the fastest time.

"Why...KAGOME! You're alive!" Mrs. Higurashi's tears flow out once more as she hugged Kagome tightly.

"Mama, where are the babies?" Kagome asked.

"They're in the baby room. Come here." Mrs. Higurashi lead them to the place where all babies are.

Kagome gasped loudly as all of them were either youkai or hanyou. It was easy to spot theirs. Golden eyes and silver hair, they look as beautiful as Inuyasha.Their little claws and fangs were sharp. Little hanyou ears stuck to their tiny head with a little bit of hair on them. One of the nurses that tended to Kagome in the labour room saw her and gasped loudly. "You're alive?"

"Was I ever dead?" She looked at Inuyasha. He shook his head. Knowing it was a lie and that she was better off not knowing anyway, she didn't question him. "When can we bring them home?" Kagome asked politely.

"Oh...the babies are fine. You'll be able to bring them home tomorrow." The nurse was still shocked but was able to answer her.

"Where's my room?"

"Inuyasha?"

"Yeah?"

"What should we name the babies? Can I have the boy to name?"

"No! I want the girl. You can take the boy."

Kagome pouted and Inuyasha laughed. "You'll be Inokuma then." She pointed to the baby in her hands sucking his fingers.

"And you'll be Suzuki." Inuyasha tweaked the baby's nose. She was staring curiously at him. Suddenly she wailed. "Kami wench, she has the same volume as you!"

A thought crossed Kagome as she carried Suzuki from Inuyasha to feed her. "Now that we have children, don't you think it's time to stop using vulgarities?" Kagome asked.

"Keh! Fine." Inuyasha took Inokuma from her as she fed Suzuki. After switching, the babies were fast asleep.

Inuyasha looked at his mate's sleeping form and then at his children. Now he's not alone. Sighing happily, Inuyasha leaned on Kagome's bed and fell asleep.

Days passed and soon they were back in Sengoku Jidai. Everyone was happy to see Kagome back safe and sound, though Inuyasha left out the part where Kagome almost left him forever. People were taking turns to fuss over the new members of the group. It's mostly Kagome carrying Inokuma while Inuyasha's playing with Suzuki. No one had ever seen Inuyasha so happy before. The loneliness behind his eyes were gone. Kagome smiled at her daughter who was busy babbling to her father.

"This is Naraku's castle." Inuyasha stopped infront of a huge hedge.

"There's a barrier?"

"Yeah. I can't believe he's still using this old trick." Taking out Tetsusaiga from it's scabbard, Inuyasha slammed it down with the Red Tetsusaiga. "Good thing Shippou didn't come with us." He commented.

Everyone nodded. "I see you've come, Inuyasha." Naraku snickered.

Kanna and Kagura came out to face them. Kagura looked up and sniffed. Sesshoumaru's around. Riding on her feather, she called out to Kanna. "I leave it here to you. There's another bait." In actual fact, she just wanted to see Sesshoumaru.

"Kagura."

"Ahh, So you still remember my name." Kagura shut her fan. "Mind joining the battle with Inuyasha's gang? They're battling Naraku." Kagura laughed and went back.

Sesshoumaru silently followed Kagura. He had left Rin and Jaken with Ah-un. Finally seeing Inuyasha, he rushed past him and slashed at Kanna, who was trying to kill Inuyasha.

"I can't believe he protected Inuyasha." Kagome stared in awe.

"Do not be foolish. I came here to defeat Naraku." Stepping forward to Kanna, he asked, "where is Naraku?" He asked. Kanna refused to answer. Sesshoumaru sauntered past her and headed towards the castle.

"So this is the jar of hearts." Grabbing them, he took both outside. Throwing them towards Kanna and Kagura, he called out, "take them and battle like real demons."

Naraku was hidden somewhere. He will let Sesshoumaru battle the weak ones. Inuyasha looked around. Suddenly, a snicker was heard. "Don't be foolish. Kill them if you want. They are of no use to me now." It was Naraku! "How about battling someone from your own... side?" Saying, Kohaku jumped out of the trees and right infront of Sango. He was tearing.

"Why are you crying?" Sango started forward to try and clear away his tears.

"Stay away!" Kohaku shouted to Sango. "I don't need your concern."

Sango was heart broken. Where is her real brother hidden? "Sister...." Her head turned. Kohaku was pierced through the back by a sharp thorn. His Shikon no Kakaera was taken away.

"KOHAKU!" Sango cried, shooting forward. But it was too late.

Kohaku's body was melting. The last words she heard before he turned into ashes that flew to heaven were "I remember you. Loving you...always..."

Sango's expression changed. From sad to angry. To hatred. Glaring around, "Come out Naraku, YOU COWARD!" She yelled. The others were busy battling Kanna and Kagura.

"That's Naraku's baby! Inside Kanna's mirror!" Miroku shouted. Heads turned from the terrible Kagura to Kanna. Kanna turned and ran. But Sesshoumaru was faster.

"Hand it over before I kill you." He demanded.

"It's no use." Kanna whispered.

Sesshoumaru's eyes flared wide. He shot out his hand, relasing an energy whip. It slashed Kanna apart and the mirror fell into pieces. The baby was still inside. But it remained intact. Smiling at Sesshomaru, the child climbed out of the mirror. Sesshoumaru unleased another whip and the baby was dead.

Naraku chuckled. "I cannot die. Try and kill me all you want. It's useless." Stepping out, Naraku was dressed in his awful form of horns sticking out of him. Sesshoumaru's expression changed from angry to understanding. Finally, he became him calm self.

"I see, Naraku. Too afraid." Taking out Tokijin, Sesshoumaru sent a wave of energy blast. Naraku's barrier repeled the attack, sending Sesshoumaru flying. Sesshoumaru laid stagnant, not moving.

Kagura flew over. "Sesshoumaru!"

"Kagura, are you defying my orders?" Naraku asked.

"No... but-"

"But?" Naraku raised a eyebrow. Lifting up his hand, Naraku's demon form grew. Another horn flew out and it hit Kagura in the chest. Right where she put her heart right back.

Sesshoumaru sat up. Seeing Kagura's limp form on the ground, he let out a long remorseful howl. Stalking over, he sent the most powerful blast of energy combined with Inuyasha's windscar and Kagome's arrow, Naraku disappeared. What he left behind was the almost completed Shikon no Tama. Purifying it, Kagome retrieved Kohaku's shard. There are only two shards left in the world. "Now we have to find Kouga." Kagome finally commented.

"Sess-" Inuyasha stopped. Sesshoumaru was gone. Kagura's body was gone too. "What the fuck is happening?" Inuyasha asked. It seemed like Sesshoumaru loves Kagura but that's of course, impossible.

"Inuyasha, I have a feeling both of them are going to be together." Kagome almost laughed at Inuyasha's expression. "I mean, wasn't Sesshoumaru and Kagura together in my time?"

Inuyasha nodded. "So you're saying, that fucking bastard has feelings he won't even give to his own brother for that youkai?"

"Well it's something like that..." Kagome trailed off. "Come on, let's look for Kouga."

"Keh! Ain't that easy? Just follow the stench-"

"There's only one hanyou here. The others are human." Kagome interrupted.

"You're forgetting the young ones." Inuyasha pointed out.

"They're still too young, you baka."

"You cant' scold your mate."

"Well, then let's just say I broke the record!" Kagome walked on. Carrying Suzuki infront and a strap for Inokuma at the back, Kagome walked on ahead with Sango and Miroku tailing behind, each hiding their own amusement.

"I wonder why Shippou decided not to follow us anymore." Miroku asked.

Sango rolled her eyes. "Well you can't blame him for finding his own mate earlier."

Both of them were trying to ignore the amusing tension between Inuyasha and Kagome. Both were actually joking, but none was going to break the silence. Kagome took a deep breath. "Miroku, would you and Sango accompany me to my time seeing as their own father is too busy sulking to do it?"

"It'll be my pleasure though I have a request."

"Yes?"

"Can I hold them?"

"Sure." Kagome started to hand Suzuki over first but stopped when Miroku kneel down holding his right hand. "Are you alright?"

Miroku pulled off the beads that hold his wind tunnel in place. Looking at it, Miroku saw that his wind tunnel was disappearing. Suddenly, he felt a deep sense of lost for the wind tunnel that has been there ever since he knew it.

"Miroku wha..." Sango trailed off. "Kami... does that mean...?" Sango blushed and looked down.

"Yes, Sango. Will you marry me?" Miroku asked. "And bear my children?" He added behind.

Sango hesitated. "Yes."

Kagome almost threw up Suzuki when she heard the news. "Can I help? Can I? Please?" Kagome pleaded. "I'll let you have the most memorable wedding you've ever had!" Kagome's cheeks were red from all the joy. Dumping Suzuki to Inuyasha and then thought the better of it, she took her back and borrowed Kirara to bring her home. "I have to tell Mama the good news first!"

Inuyasha was in a troubled state. He knew Kagome wanted a wedding but he just couldn't see the advantage of it. What will her relatives and friends say after realising that she married a youkai? Or to be true, a hanyou? He couldn't bring himself to see Kagome being insulted like him. What about the innocent children? She had regained her orginal figure when Mr. Higurashi healed her. Now she looks like any original teen. He want this as much as she want it. But what about the conseqenences?
