Kagome laid on the hotel bed and sighed happily. Inuyasha was showering in the bathroom. She stood up and walked towards the window. The view was beautiful. Seeing the remarkable Tokyo beneath them, she breathed in the fresh air. Suddenly two arms wrapped around her waist and was breathing on her neck. Wrinkling her nose, she looked at Inuyasha. "You used my soap?"

"Uhh . . . yeah."

"But I thought you can't stand the sweet smells? Besides, I bought you the unscented ones."

"I smelt like a fish from the market. Those guests rubbing their sweaty smells off me, I rather bathe." Inuyasha frowned. "Are you tired?"

"Yeah," Kagome admitted. "Abit."

"Why don't you bathe and I'll take you somewhere else?"

"Sure . . . but do you think the children are good at Mama's?" She looked down. "I'm really worried."

"I'm sure they're fine." Inuyasha sighed. "You over-strained yourself. Now go."

"Where're you taking me?" Kagome asked as both Inuyasha and her are in their pajamas although Kagome wore an extra robe since Inuyasha insisted. Inuyasha jumped here and hopped there. "He's going to bring me to the top." Kagome mused.

Finally Inuyasha stopped. Sitting Kagome in his lap as he rocked her to and fro, soothing her hair. "I don't want to over-tire you tonight. I just need you by my side." Inuyasha whispered into her ear.

Kagome nodded and leaned against him. It had to be enough, for now. Suddenly, Inuyasha's back stiffened. Kagome looked at him with a puzzled gaze. Behind him was a staff from the hotel. He gave them a warm smile. "Dear guests, it's getting cold. Do you need some blankets or hot drinks?"

Kagome's eyes widened. "This guy . . . this guy- This guy has the aura of a youkai's!" She shot Inuyasha a look. Inuyasha nodded and set her on a chair nearby.

"This punk bears the scent of Naraku." Inuyasha stood up straight. "Who are you and what the fuck do you want?" Growling as he felt unsecure without Tetsusaiga by his side.

"Oh no . . . I was just being concerned." Smiling still, he turned towards the staircase and stopped there. "For the sake of your miko, hanyou, you better look after yourself." Shooting them another smile, he went down.

Waiting until Inuyasha was sure he's gone, he turned towards Kagome. "He has the scent of Naraku."

Kagome's eyes flared wide. "No way, it couldn't be. But the youki I sensed off him was strong."

"I think it's time to look for that bastard brother of mine now."

Kagome frowned. "Can you stop calling him that?"

"It's a true fact. He IS and will remain a fucking bastard in my eyes."

"So . . . Can you sense Sesshoumaru?" Kagome asked.

"I'm sure I'll sense him if I keep looking." Inuyasha commented.

Kagome smiled. Inuyasha would never ask his brother for anything. But now he is asking his brother for help. It can only mean one thing : Inuyasha is learning to depend on others. It might be a good thing though. Rather than trying to do everything by himself, he can now depend on others. Kagome sighed happily as Inuyasha started into their room.

"So?"

"So I think Naraku's still alive." Inuyasha said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"It's impossible. All of us saw his downfall." Miroku argued.

Inuyasha rolled his eyes. "But we didn't see his heart after we 'killed' him."

Sango stood forward. "Inuyasha, he burst into pieces which became ashes when Kagome tok the jewel out. How do you expect us to see the heart?"

"Keh. Fine, believe what you will." Inuyasha tugged at the sleeping Kagome gently into the house.

"Inuyasha?"

"Don't distract me." Two amber orbs darted around as the flash of red and silver flashes every once in awhile. Inuyasha was in his forest, jumping around trying to catch the stench of his bastard of a brother, as he call it.

Kagome sighed as she patted Inokuma to sleep. Suzuki was already sleeping soundly but somehow, Inokuma was feeling restless. Suddenly, he burst into tears. Kagome went into the state of panic and started to calm him, soothing him with lullabys once sung to her by Mrs. Higurashi. Inokuma's face was red by now. Finally Inuyasha gave up searching and ran towards the clearing, where his family was.

Plucking Inokuma out of Kagome's arms and ignoring the glower, Inuyasha rocked him to sleep. Inokuma was still crying. Frustrated, he gave the bundle back to Kagome. Inuyasha strapped Suzuki to his back, carried Kagome bridal stlye and ran towards the well. On reaching there, Inokuma stopped yelling. Kagome shot Inuyasha a puzzled look.

"Don't forget; he is a hanyou too. Having hanyou senses, he might not be comfortable with the fumes of your time. I can't stand it myself." Inuyasha frowned.

"Thank you."

"Keh. Don't mention it." Unstrapping Suzuki, Inuyasha placed her in Kagome's lap and rocked the sleepy Kagome.

"Inuyasha?"

"Hmm?" Inuyasha's sleepy voice answered. He was falling asleep from the soothing aura of Kagome's.

"I think I know where Sesshoumaru-"

Inuyasha jerked awake. "What makes you think you know?"

"What makes you think I don't know then?" Kagome retorted. "I dreamt that Sesshoumaru lives in a huge apartment. Then I saw his company. It's called the Taisho Corp."

"We'll go search for it tomorrow."

"Why not now?"

"Keh. Everyone's tired. Come on wench, let's go into the old hag's hut and borrow for a night of peaceful sleep."

"I'm not tired." Kagome yawned.

Inuyasha chuckled. "Yeah right."

"How's the watching going, Kumi?"

"Everything's alright."

Taking another deep breathe of the cigarate, he snickered. "The party's just beginning, Inuyasha."

"It's not healthy for you to smoke."

"Last one Kumi."

"Yes, Naraku-sama."

mikogirl: Awesome chapter. lol kool. i think this might have been the best chapter yet!!!! Star555555528 & Elphaba are sooo going 2 flip when they get back from vacation. they called me yesterday & Star said she was having fun but missed her Inuyasha movies. lol well update soon byez.
Fiona: Haha, I'm getting so jealous. I only went to the neighbouring country for the so-called "vacation" Oh well, I just gave some happiness before the real action starts. It also includes the angsty and all that. As you can see above,- You better read and find out. ^^
