“Hey Kagome, I hear you and Hojo Broke up.” Yuki, one of Kagome's friends, Proclaimed.

“What else is new around here?” Kagome didn't eye her friend.

“Aren't you sad? Don't you miss him?” Eri asked. Kagome nodded, “No.” She still didn't look away from her homework.

Her friends looked at each other in surprise. “You mean, he wasn't the one who dumped you?” Her three friends asked at the same time.

This got Kagome's attention, she looked at them confused.

“Hojo's been saying that he dumped you, and that you were all upset about it.” Eri told her.

Kagome rolled her eyes and went back to doing her schoolwork, “That's why I dumped him because he's a lying bastard!”

“Kagome,” Eri said, getting Kagome's attention again, “What were you two fighting about?”

Kagome broke her pencil, “Damn.” She cursed and pulled out her sharpener in frustration, then went back to her work.

“Kagome?” Eri caught her attention again, reminding her of the question.

“Oh, Hojo saw Kouga hitting on me and thought I was the one hitting on him.”

“What!” Her friends yelled.

“But you hate kouga, Hojo should know that!” Eri said.

“He saw kouga kissing me.” Kagome whispered. Her friends gasped aloud. Eri and Yuki both held their hand up to their mouths.

“But it's nothing, Hojo and I were growing apart anyways.” Kagome went back to her work, again. “Besides, I can actually get back to studying now that I don't have a boyfriend nagging at me all the time.”

Her friends looked at her in understandment.

“Well, I guess we'll see you tomorrow then, Kagome.” Yuki said and waved along with her other friends. “See ya.”

Kagome got out of her car and grabbed her backpack from the back seat. Her friends Yuki and Eri ran up to her.

“Hello Eri, Yuki, why are you in such a hurry to see me all of a sudden?”

“Kagome,” Yuki was out of breath, “We've got a new guy in school!” Yuki finished.

“They say that he just got out of jail for killing a guy.” Eri added, catching her breath along with Yuki.

Kagome raised an eyebrow. Her friends sure get a lot of news in one day, not to mention oddly fast!

“So? Why do you make such a big deal out of it? The guy's probably innocent for all we know, probably had a bad lawyer or something.” Kagome calmed them down.

Her friends noticed something behind her and pointed with their jaws to the ground.

Kagome got curious and turned around to see a guy in a tight black T-Shirt, (Showing his six-packs b y the way) and blue jeans getting out of a very, very nice car from the parking lot.

He walked right past Kagome, and into the school. Kagome and her friends' eyes watched him go in amazement.

“What a hunk.” Yuki drooled, followed by a slap to the arm by Eri, “That's him!” She told her.

Kagome shook her head, stopping herself to stop staring at the guys back and decided to walk in before the bell rang.

“Wait for us Kagome!” Her friends ran after her.
